“Amanda is awesome and great with our dog (and our cats). She comes by 3x a week to take our dog on a walk. Our dog is slow and lazy and mostly wants to sniff, but Amanda convinces her to go on a walk and our dog seems to be stoked to see her. Our cats also come to greet her. She's always been on time and communicative, plus super flexible if our schedule changes. Def recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs for the majority of my life and have been relied on continuously by neighbors, family, and friends to take care of their pets when they are otherwise unavailable due to travel or long work days. I love meeting and spending time with all animals and learning about their individual personalities and quirks. I am accustomed to anxious and shy dogs and will go at their pace, especially when they are exposed to their individual stressors. I am currently finishing up my spring semester at San Diego City College and am excited to have more open availability during summer break starting in June. My personal dog has some residual anxiety when it comes to new people coming into our home. We work with it by making sure she has a safe space available to her and also has the ability to see the visitor as it helps ease her anxiety and nervousness when she knows where they are in the house.
