About: I’m mike and I’m sure you’ve read this on everyone’s profile but I love animals! This is not my first time signing up for a program like this. I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter for 8 months which helped me get acquainted with dog behaviors and how to handle them. Im looking to have fun and meet all different types of breeds. I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet stays happy in my care until your return. I also know that it can be a little worrying leaving your furry friend with a new face but feel free to call or FaceTime whenever. About: My pet care goes back to when I was six years old. I got my first dog, a golden doodle, at six years old and my mother helped me train and raise her. About: Hi there! I have grown up around cats and dogs my entire life, even the occasional rabbit, lizard, and horse. As an adult, I have learned so much about pet care. I have two cats and a dog myself who I love with all my heart. I often end up caring for them solo as a military spouse, which includes the vet visits, medicines, baths, nail clipping, and all of the day to day. My dog, Popeye, is an accident prone angel with seasonal allergies, and one of my cats is asthmatic, so I give him an inhaler twice a day every day. I have had to learn all the tricks to give medicine and to desensitize them to their meds. My other cat is a bit spicy toward the others, and sometimes I have to help regulate her temper. I believe in gaining trust with pets and not forcing them into situations, as much as possible. I have babysat and done house visits for my neighbor’s cats and dog.
