I am so grateful to Monique, she did such a great job helping to take care of our Yoyo while we were out of town. My dog is not always easy but took right to Monique. She kept me updated and sent me photos. Especially when you are out of town it is so important to know someone is taking such good care of your pet. I will definitely be reaching out to Monique again and appreciate her so much.

About: I’m mike and I’m sure you’ve read this on everyone’s profile but I love animals! This is not my first time signing up for a program like this. I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter for 8 months which helped me get acquainted with dog behaviors and how to handle them. Im looking to have fun and meet all different types of breeds. I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet stays happy in my care until your return. I also know that it can be a little worrying leaving your furry friend with a new face but feel free to call or FaceTime whenever. I understand that’s this comes with a lot of responsibility and I am ready to take it on.

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for 4 years and truly treat every pet I care for like family. I’m very attentive, patient, and intentional about making sure pets feel safe, loved, and engaged while their parents are away. I love the outdoors and regularly take my own dog on long walks, trails, and weekly dog park adventures, so your pet will get the exercise, stimulation, and fun they deserve. Whether it’s a drop-in visit or a walk, I focus on quality time, safety, and giving your pet the care I’d want for my own :) I work full time serving our State of California😊 however my job has very flexible hours and I make my own schedule. I work remote pretty often as well. Caring for pets is no problem as long as I can schedule ahead of time :) Weekends are also great for me as well! I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. During drop-in visits, I make sure all your pet’s needs are met like feeding, fresh water, comfort, potty breaks, and playtime, all while keeping their routine consistent and stress free. On walks, safety is always my top priority, and I’m attentive, patient, and aware of your pet’s pace and surroundings. I also love sending plenty of photo updates, so you’re never left wondering how your pup is doing and can feel confident they’re happy, safe, and cared for.

About: With two years of experience caring for puppies and senior dogs, I understand the unique needs of dogs at every stage of life. I’ve regularly cared for litters of puppies, ensuring they are happy, safe, and well looked after. I’m attentive to dogs who prefer their own space, respecting their boundaries while providing the care they need. Having a senior dog of my own has deepened my understanding of patience and specialized care. I also regularly walk my own dog, who has gone through many different stages—from tugging and reactivity to calm, controlled walks. Because of this, I’ve learned to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs, handling different behaviors with patience and confidence. Additionally, I have experience caring for cats and understand their unique behaviors and body language. I’m familiar with signs of discomfort and know how to create a calm, respectful environment for them. Having watched and cared for multiple cats, I ensure they feel safe and cared for, whether they’re social or prefer their space. As current full-time student in college, I understand the importance of balancing responsibilities while providing attentive care to pets. During the school year, I’ve learned to manage my time efficiently, ensuring pets receive the attention and exercise they need. Now that it’s summer break, I have even more time to dedicate to caring for and playing with pets. Whether it’s engaging walks, interactive play sessions, or simply providing companionship, I’m available to meet their needs with patience and consistency. I provide personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs, making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their home environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any specific care requirements. I engage pets in play, offer companionship, and ensure they receive plenty of attention. For pets that prefer their space, I respect their boundaries while monitoring their well-being. If any concerns arise, such as changes in behavior or health, I will communicate with the owner to ensure the best care for their pet.

About: My pet care goes back to when I was six years old. I got my first dog, a golden doodle, at six years old and my mother helped me train and raise her. When we got our second dog, I fully trained and raised her and it was such a great experience. That's my baby in my profile picture! I also used to work at a Doggy Day Care in the summer before I moved to D.C. for college. I would help assist with special needs dogs and dogs that required more one on one care. Animals are my favorite thing, especially dogs and I would be so happy to help you all out when you need it! I had a senior Shih Tzu during college years up until my last semester and that was such an amazing experience to have a fur friend during these years. I'm the friend that people come to when they need pet care. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friend. I have a great and productive routine, given the fact I had a furry baby throughout most of my life, I know how to properly fit your pet into my schedule. Walking is one of my favorite activities so I would gladly bring your pet along with me! I am currently in a house but there is a park near my home. I am in a very walkable area, I can assure you, your pet is in safe hands and you can trust me with your fur friend!

About: Hi there! I have grown up around cats and dogs my entire life, even the occasional rabbit, lizard, and horse. As an adult, I have learned so much about pet care. I have two cats and a dog myself who I love with all my heart. I often end up caring for them solo as a military spouse, which includes the vet visits, medicines, baths, nail clipping, and all of the day to day. My dog, Popeye, is an accident prone angel with seasonal allergies, and one of my cats is asthmatic, so I give him an inhaler twice a day every day. I have had to learn all the tricks to give medicine and to desensitize them to their meds. My other cat is a bit spicy toward the others, and sometimes I have to help regulate her temper. I believe in gaining trust with pets and not forcing them into situations, as much as possible. I have babysat and done house visits for my neighbor’s cats and dog. I have had friends and family who needed a hand live with me, and cared for their dogs in the meantime. At the end of the day, our pets deserve the best love and care, and that is always my goal. I am currently switching from full time to part time work while I finish school and prepare for a move. I am most available Monday-Thursday, but can be flexible over the weekends as well. At my home, my pets run freely but have their own spaces. We do our best to have boundaries around the kitchen mostly. I am flexible to understanding that everyone has different needs and boundaries with their fur babies, and am open to upholding whatever that looks like for you as I care for your pets. We can do short walks, long walks, playtime, puzzles, litter box changing, training, etc.
