I consider Rover as my fulltime job, but I also do online reselling. Doing both allow me to have a pretty flexible schedule while caring for pets in their home as much as possible and still meeting my income needs. Due to the amount of daily clients I have, all pets need to be able to be alone for up to 6 hours at a time.

I try and follow each pet's individual schedule as much as possible. With housesitting, all my things remain behind closed doors when not needed. I also close off any extra doors to limit where each pet is allowed to go when I am away at other clients to ensure that no one is tempted to get into things.

All dogs must be leash trained for walks (no major pulling), be up to date on shots, and be licensed with the City of San Diego (per city law; through the San Diego Humane Society/Docupet). What is their routine like? What has training been like and what commands to use? Do they have any triggers to be aware of?

I tailor every walk to each individual dog, depending on age, breed, temperament and medical concerns. I also consider the local weather. While San Diego temperature typically ranges in the 60s to 70s, there are some days in the 80s. If the temperature reaches 85 degrees, I will provide a short walk and extra indoor playtime to compensate for the lack of walking for the day to protect your pet's feet.

**I require a meet and greet for all new clients.** Service Areas: North Park, South Park, Normal Heights, City Heights (Corridor), University Heights, Kensington, and Hillcrest/Bankers Hill (east of 5th Ave). I provide high quality, traveling pet services and have been on Rover since Christmas 2016. I have loved caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Every animal is different; being able to adapt to different special needs is very critical to my success as a pet sitter. If your pet needs a walk around the neighborhood or a drop-in visit with home exercise I can provide that for them in your absence! My animal experience is vast, as I've had various pets in the past, including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. My dogs were both shelter dogs and had severe anxiety as a result, so I know how to approach a pup that requires special attention because of behavioral issues. After having dogs of my own that had behavioral issues due to past experiences, I realized I wanted to help other pets from similar situations, which led me to join Rover. When not working with my Rover animals, you can find me volunteering at the Living Coast Discovery Center and the San Diego Zoo, so I am around animals 24/7 and love it. I really enjoy seeing them in their element. You will also often find me visiting the local parks and would love to take your pups with me, with your permission of course! Please allow at least 72 hours before your booking is set to begin, as I require a meet and greet for all new clients. In addition to offering house sitting San Diego residents, I offer both 30-min and 1-hour drop-ins and walks. Discounts are also available for multiple pets. *Puppies must complete all rounds of the parvo vaccine prior to meet and greet.*

Thank you again for taking care of our big pup. Davy was calm and comfortable when we got home. We will is her service again.

Debbie was fantastic with my two cats! She stayed with them for four nights, took great care of them, and I came back to happy, playful cats. We will definitely use her services again!!
Debbie was promnt, responsive, and professional. She took good care of my 😺 Sunny. I appreciated the photos of each visit and Sunny looked happy.
