In February of 2024, I took a leap of faith and left my job to pursue Pet Sitting full time, allowing me more flexibility to spend time with my own dog, my family, and the animals of others. I do have an infant who is with me 99% of the time, so they will be with me during majority of bookings, however they will be worn on me the entire time with no unwanted interactions between your pet and baby.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety and security is my main priority. I always make sure all doors and gates are properly locked and secured, per your instructions. If you wish, I'm also comfortable with kenneling your dog when they are unattended. When walking with a client's dog, I like to avoid interactions with unknown animals and humans. That being said, at your discretion, I will happily bring my own dog for a play date or walk if they would like more social interaction or guidance.
Information Kalista T. would like to know about your pet
I do ask for knowledge of pre-existing health conditions, including things like allergies, diabetes, nervousness, etc. so that I can better suit your dog or cat’s specific needs during our time together. PUPPIES: My puppy rates include promoting their current level of training and encouraging learning advancement through fun engagement, walks, and games, as well as following your preferred training method. This helps because, as not the primary care giver, the puppy is learning to truly associate words and signals with actions and events, not just the person saying them. I encourage you to share information with me about what your pup is working on or needs help with, and I can relay any helpful insight I have or notice.
A typical day
Depending on the animals health, I am happy to jog with them for small segments. I will happily take pups to the park or an enclosed area where we can play fetch, however I prefer to walk in close proximity to the animals home. Pet care experience
The wellbeing and care of animals have been lifelong passions for me. As a certified veterinary assistant, I have training in emergency veterinary medicine as well as extensive experience administering both oral and injected medications. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with animals in many capacities—fostering kittens, rescuing and reuniting lost dogs, and continuously expanding my knowledge and skills. Most recently, I worked at a locally owned holistic pet food store, where I gained in-depth knowledge of pet nutrition, supplements, and a variety of diets—experience that now helps me confidently manage both simple and complex feeding routines. Before that, I was the lead yard attendant, primary groomer, and a dog trainer at a large doggy daycare. This role gave me hands-on experience with training tools, techniques, and animal behavior, allowing me to better understand and support pets of all temperaments and needs. Occasionally, my gentle one year old may accompany me on visits. She has grown up around animals (including our own 100lb dog) and has spent her life joining me on pet-sitting jobs. She is calm and respectful around pets, and I always ensure the safety and comfort of both the animals and my daughter are the highest priority.
Reviews

One of our dogs is very wary of new people and takes a long time to warm up to them. Not with Kali. She met him once before we left on vacation. Her first walk it took him 2 blocks to chill out. After that he was so stoked to see her and leave the house with her. Dogs came back so happy and fully exercised. Highly recommend. Will 100% use her again.

Kali was very pleasant. After the meet and greet, I was confident that she would take great care of my two big boys, one of whom is reactive to dogs. The actual walks went really well and I was able to completely relax on my trip. We'll definitely be back!!

Kalista is the best with my boy Milo!!

Kali is our go-to cat sitter! I feel like I can relax while I'm away knowing that she is taking good care of Monkey. I trust her to follow his feeding and medication routines, and to let me know if anything is amiss. Highly recommend!
