About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience and love for all types of dogs, from high-energy breeds to relaxed lap dogs. I’ve trained my own Dutch Shepherd-Pitbull mix in tricks like twirl, hug, and stay, so I have the patience and skills to teach new commands. I’m also comfortable with large, energetic dogs that might be too much for other sitters, but I equally enjoy lounging with smaller, more easygoing pups—I grew up with two Shih Tzus and miss them every day. Additionally, I have experience caring for cats, so if your feline needs attention too, I’m more than capable. Whether your pet needs playtime, training, or just some company, I’m happy to help! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because, as a college student with a part-time job, I have a lot of flexibility. I take many online classes, so my schedule isn’t packed with in-person lectures, giving me extra time to dedicate to pets. For the most part, I’m available Wednesday through Saturday in the mornings or evenings, which is perfect for getting outside, staying active, and spending time with animals. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just keeping a pet company, I’d love to fill my extra time doing something I enjoy! I prioritize providing personalized care based on each pet’s needs, whether in my home or my client’s home. I’m very flexible and can accommodate any specific requests, whether it’s sticking to a strict feeding schedule, providing extra playtime, reinforcing training, or simply offering companionship. I understand that every pet has different routines and energy levels, so I adjust accordingly—whether that means high-energy exercise for active dogs or a calm, comforting presence for more relaxed pets. My goal is to make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident in the care I provide!

“Matt was friendly, responsive, and great with my 2 larger dogs! He took the time to do a meet and greet before their first walk, and gave timely updates.”

About: I’ve been around all ages of dogs my whole life and have cared for them in many ways. I fostered two 8 week old pups a few months ago and would like to keep helping one walk at a time. I’m in the process of a career change and will have weekdays available starting after 12:30. I might be able to accommodate a weekend just let me know a week ahead. When I open doors I always open them slowly and carefully to make sure not to startle any sleeping dogs. When I greet your dog I’ll come down to his or her level unless you prefer me not too. For those extra shy ones I’ll get low and have my back to him or her until he or she is comfortable approaching me.

“Brenda is a professional and a life-saver. She took such good care of my Husky, Veda, on short notice. She is trustworthy and reliable, communicative and understanding. I trusted her to come into my home while I wasn't there, and I'll be glad to do that again.”

About: Ever since a young age I have been a huge animal lover. I grew up with a lab retriever which taught me the importance of giving every dog the utmost attention and love. Whether it's a playful pup or a chill senior dog, I treat every dog like family and always make sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. This has lead me to be trusted by neighbours, friends, and family with their furry friends over the last 3 years. I am recent graduate waiting for my full time job to start in August, so I have lots of time to spend hanging out with your dog :) Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I always make sure my home is pet-proofed, with no access to anything harmful. I am also a local so I know the best places around town for dog walks!

“Lilli was easy to communicate with—responsive and flexible! My 110 lb boy loved walking with her and we both appreciate her being available last minute. Thank you Lilli! I’ll be reaching out soon”

About: My love for animals has been there since day 1! I grew up around all sorts of animals: dogs, cats, chickens, the list goes on. I loved my time on Rover in 2021 and I am excited to come back and meet new animals! I have a wide variety of pet care experiences from walks to house sitting to providing medicine. There is no animal I fear getting to know and taking care of!thank you for the opportunity to show your pets some love! Every week, I run and walk my dog a minimum of 4 times. I grew up with high energy dogs and love to get my exercise with pets. On the other hand, I love a cuddle bug moment and relaxing with my pets. Anything I can do for my pets I help out with: walks, feeding, administering medicine, picking up after them, etc. I am open to any and all services. I have had plenty of experience with walking dogs as well as house sitting for up to 5 animals at a time. I like to keep things clean and structured so there is no room for harm. My biggest moto for helping out is: leave the space better than you found it!

About: Hi! I’m Heather, and animals have been at the center of my world for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs my entire life, but nothing compares to the love I share with my current girl, Lyla — a Lab-Terrier mix who is truly our child. I’ve dedicated myself to her care, health, training, and happiness. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or sneaking in healthy treats, I know how to tune into a dog’s needs and give them structure, comfort, and fun. I understand how hard it is to leave your pet behind — which is why I treat every animal I care for like family. You can count on me to give your dog the same attention, affection, and respect I give Lyla every single day. My flexible work-from-home schedule allows me to easily fit in drop-ins and dog walks throughout the day. As a busy professional who sets her own hours, I’m able to prioritize pet care and be there when your dog or cat needs me — whether it’s for a potty break, a midday walk, or just some company and love while you’re away. I’m dependable, punctual, and treat every visit as a chance to make your pet’s day a little happier. When I visit your home for drop-ins or walks, I treat it — and your pets — with the same care and respect I give my own. I follow your instructions closely, whether that means feeding, refreshing water bowls, administering meds, or just spending quality time with your pet to make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. For walks, I make sure your dog gets the exercise, sniff breaks, and mental stimulation they need — always using safe routes and checking for weather conditions. During drop-ins, I can also handle small tasks like bringing in mail, watering plants, or adjusting lights if requested. Above all, I aim to be a calm, consistent, and compassionate presence your pet can trust. You’ll always get updates and photos so you know exactly how your pet is doing.

“Very happy and glad Jessica could help us with a last minute appointment to walk out beagle, we got great pictures and updates on his walk! Would be happy to book another walk with her again!”

About: I currently have 3 dogs and 4 cats of my own! Ive moved away from home where they’re located back in North Carolina. I’ve grown up taking care of animals. I'm a full time college student who would love to take care of some furry friends! I miss my animals back home in North Carolina! I love going on long walks and would love to help walk your puppies! I can't wait to learn more about your animals and the care they need.

I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds and I love them all! I’m currently working remotely which leaves me plenty of time to care for your critter during the week. I am also available most weekends. I respect all the care instructions of the owner while using my own background knowledge to make up for the rest. I have experience crate training and potty training. I know the importance of routine for dogs which is why I am consistent and thoughtful in my approach, while remaining flexible to the needs of your pet.

About: While I haven't done any professional pet care, I have been around animals my entire life. I akin my home to more of a zoo rather than a house. I think house sitting would be a good side gig to get into; my mom often house sits for people she knows, and I have a friend who house or pet sits quite often. I am a capable person of average intelligence who can follow instructions and be trusted with an animal of any kind. I can tell you that I live with a literal herd of wiener dogs and five cats which have all been raised since they were little; so I feel like I can handle a lot. I hope to look after your home and pets to the best of my ability. Pet care fits easily into my daily schedule because I work part-time and keep flexible hours. I'm available Monday through Thursday from 12 PM to 8 PM, which allows me plenty of time for walks, check-ins, or house sitting. I don’t work weekends, so I stay well-rested and consistent during the week, making sure every pet gets my full attention and care. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I follow all instructions closely, maintain a clean and calm environment, and keep pets on their usual routines. I’m quiet, trustworthy, and mindful of safety — from locked doors to leash checks. Whether I’m in your home or out on a walk, your dog’s comfort and security are always my top priority.

Finnegan Y.
“To whomever it may concern, Finn is a great friend of mine first of all. His home is a safe place for numerous animals; he houses multiple cats among other creatures. He has a real soft spot for animals if that was not obvious. This would be a good job for him considering his soft spot for animals and how well he treats those at his home. He is a very kind soul that usually goes above and beyond to help people. He recently received numerous star awards from about five people in our theatre company because of that. Thank you for your time to whoever reads this. I hope you give him a chance.”
El Cerritos dog parents share their Rover experiences
Khori was great! I got a description of how her walk went with Melly and lots of pictures and videos. I would definitely recommend Khori

Ra-chel was a trooper trying to find our place! She was excited to walk Benji and Benji was excited to be walked by her! She’s a pet parent so she gave him extra love. Would recommend and book with her again!

The best pet walker in the neighborhood. Always friendly and so kind with my pet. Thank you Natalia!

Caity was wonderful with our leash-reactive dog, who was always happy (and tired!) after her walks. Caity is very reliable, responsible, and her love for dogs is obvious. We will definitely be using Caity again in the future. 100% recommend.

Rayleen is great !! Felt Comfortable booking with her last minute to walk our energetic pup. She offered to do meet and greet before hand which didn’t work out but we felt confident that with her experience and great communication her first meeting and walk with Rigatoni would go smoothly and she did not disappoint . Looking forward to using Rayleen again :-)

Megan was excellent with my dog Jones and I would highly recommend her for anyone who needs her services. Took great photos too!

Highly recommend. Daniella was exceptional from the meet and greet to each drop in visit and walk. She arrived on time, was professional and kind, and my dog connected with her right away. She followed every instruction and gave the visit and walk just the right amount of attention and care. It’s clear she takes pride in taking care of others pups, and Rogue loved her, which made the whole experience seamless and reassuring. Will certainly be requesting again when needed.

Genesis is an absolute gem!!! My pup is more of a difficult dog to deal with because of her reactive nature. Genesis is so sweet, caring, & patient with her. I was SO nervous to have a dog walker because of my dog’s temperament but I am so grateful to have come across Genesis. I will 100% be requesting walking services again. Thank you for taking such great care of my babies!

Our scheduled dog walker cancelled on us less than a week before an international trip. Bianca saved the day and took such good care of our girl Rosie!! She was quick to respond and we booked a meet and greet for the day after our walker cancelled. Rosie is an 80 lbs and sometimes dog-reactive pit bull. Walking her in City Heights where there are a ton of off leash dogs and aggressive dogs is no easy feat. Bianca did such a wonderful job. Because Rosie only met Bianca once, she wouldn’t go on the walks without my mother-in-law, who was house sitting. Bianca was so gracious to continue doing the morning walks with a stranger, when that was not what she signed up for. Bianca is responsive, professional, punctual and has experience with reactice dogs. Highly recommend hiring her for your fur babies!

Madge is very friendly and calm and the dogs really love her. I highly recommend her to take good care of your fur babies. Thanks again Madge!

Madison was great! She took great care, walking and feeding our two dogs, while we were away. She was reliable and easy to communicate with. It was clear our dogs enjoyed being walked by her as she took it at their slower pace for a lot of sniffing.

Stephanie was great with Zoro. Stephanie communicated well each day and was flexible with the times. I would definitely rebook again with Stephanie. The last day after the walk was over, Zoro jumped into the car with Stephanie to go for another walk. Thank you, Stephanie!
