Pet care experience

Dog Lover Currently w/o Dog 2 Love!

I am new to Rover, but not new to dog sitting! As a dog owner for majority of life, I have been without a canine companion for the last couple years after my last dog passed. Due to some newer work travel obligations, I don’t feel confident in owning a dog at the moment, so getting a quality fix while caring for other families’ doggos! Young puppies to senior dogs, I have had them all. From a 30-lb Shepard/chow/hound mix (Lucy) to a 100-lb chocolate lab (Belle) and a few in between (Irish setter, lab mix), I have had solo dogs and multiple dogs in the household at once. I am an active person who will hike / run / walk as each dog is interested or able to. For overnights, my house is a small two-story home. I have a fully fenced yard area, too compact an area for a dog to get up to full speed, but definitely large enough to accommodate a quality case of the zoomies. For drop-ins and pet walks, I am punctual, thorough, and a happy walker. And willing to jog with dogs who benefit from the extra cardio…

100% recommend booking Molly. She watched our dog in her home for three nights and I felt like Paddy was in a safe, comfortable and happy place. She is clearly an animal lover. We had some specific requirements about our dogs interactions with others and Molly followed them perfectly, which I hugely appreciate.

I can't recommend Molly highly enough. She cared for my dog, Eva, for 14 wonderful years, and I always knew she was in the very best hands. Molly has a genuine love for animals and treats every pet with incredible kindness, patience, and compassion. Throughout the years, Molly was dependable with every aspect of Eva's care—from daily walks and feeding to playtime, companionship, and making sure she was always happy and comfortable. As Eva grew older, Molly was just as attentive to her changing needs, showing the same level of care, gentleness, and dedication every step of the way. One of the things I appreciate most is how naturally animals connect with Molly. She has a calm, caring presence that helps pets feel safe and loved. Knowing Eva was with Molly always gave me complete peace of mind because I knew she would be treated like family. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and truly passionate about caring for animals, I wholeheartedly recommend Molly. Any dog or pet in her care will be loved, respected, and looked after as if they were her own.

We had an awesome experience with Molly! She took such great care of our dogs and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our pups were well cared for and always so happy when she was with them. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and caring dog sitter!

Safety, trust & environment

For overnights, my house is a small two-story home. I have a fully fenced yard area, too compact and area for a dog to get up to full speed, but definitely large enough to accommodate a quality case of the zoomies. No dogs in the household (hence the Rover profile!).

A typical day

My neighborhood is full of dogs walking at all hours of the day. We walk, sit outside to get sun (or stay inside on days that are too hot), and for dogs who benefit from extra exercise, we run (for bigger dogs who are of that temperment, age and ability - and my ability that day...). If your dog is capable / interested in lengthier walks, I love to hike and would take your dog to a trail for extended exercise as appropriate. Otherwise, a steady walk about the neighborhood followed by couch snuggle time.

I must know if your dog has any special behaviors or needs. I have experience with separation anxiety pets; however, I will not be home 100% of the time in some cases, and would need to know if special accommodations are needed for overnight pet guests for times when I need to run out and the pet would be at my home alone. If your dog is extra active and would benefit from a jog or a longer distance hike, I am more than willing to do so. Again, that is info I would love to have upfront so I know if you are comfortable with me taking your pet on that type of (nearby) adventure.
