I live in a one bedroom apartment, there is no fenced in yard but the door always remains closed. I wouldn't take any dogs out without their collar and leash on. There is a set of stairs to get up to my apartment (~12 steps), I can carry dogs up and down if needed. The apartment itself is one level and I have doggy stairs to get on the couch as well as a gate to keep them in a carpeted area if they need that for balance or anything.

I usually walk the dogs to the park down the street or just around the neighborhood everyday, sometimes we will go to one of the local coffee shops.

I had my 16 year old dog Dakota since she was a puppy until she passed away earlier this year and I've fostered multiple senior dogs over the last couple of years for Frosted Faces. Melanie’s such a kind and understanding sitter. It was my dog’s first stay with her, and she gave him the space and time he needed to warm up to her. She also sent updates and photos throughout the stay. 🫶
Melanie took care of my doggies for 1 week. 2 of the days were overnight boarding at her place, the rest were daycare visits. She took wonderful care of my dogs, sent lots of photos and was responsive to texts. I was in a bind and needed her to take the dogs in an extra night and she was able to accommodate us. When I picked my dogs up they were very calm and well rested. And they were always excited to see Melanie at drop-off time. She treated them like they were her own and I am so grateful to have found her. I highly recommend Melanie. I have no doubt she will treat your pet with great care and you will be very happy you chose her. I know I am.
Melanie is the consummate doggy caregiver. She truly takes such tender care of my dog, and her deep experience looking after elderly dogs also shines through, which I so appreciate since my dog is 15. Melanie is simply amazing.
