“Mihaela is awesome! Henry can't wait to see her and barks his head off when she comes to the door. July 3rd will be her last day with us but believe me when I say she will be the first person I pick if I need a dog walker again!!!”
“Alyssa was so communicative, and sent lots of updates and photos so I knew my dog Bandit was in terrific hands! Will definitely be using her again for dog walking and house sitting :)”

“Spencer has been doing daily dog walking for our two dogs for the past couple months and is reliable and responsive. He is great with our pups and would recommend him to anyone!”

“Melanie walked our 3 dogs and did a great job! She walked the littles and the senior separately and did a great job modifying their walk for variety and to match their energy. She is really friendly, nice, and reliable. Highly recommend!!”

About: Pet CPR & First Aid Certified (AHT). I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently own two of my own. My wife has worked as a professional dog handler for the past four years, so I’ve learned a great deal about dog behavior, safety, and providing attentive, loving care. My flexible schedule allows dependable weekday and weekend availability. I’ll arrive on time, communicate consistently, and make sure your dog gets the attention they deserve. Your dog’s safety is my highest priority. I follow every care instruction, use secure leashes, stay alert during walks, and send regular photo updates for peace of mind. Pet CPR & First Aid Certified (AHT).

“Daniel is the best! Great with my Cane Corso, she’s a sweet girl but can be hard headed. This is my 2nd week using him and I couldn't be more appreciative of his communication, professionalism and very kind easy going nature. My dog absolutely loves him!”

“Nicole was an amazing caretaker for my little dog. He's not generally a very good eater, but under Nicole's care he ate up all his meals… She truly has the magic touch! She has quite a way with animals… He connected with her instantly.”

“Our pup loved his walks with Savannah! I usually stress abt having anyone care for him in my absence, but she made the whole thing very easy and worry-free for us. We even got little report cards of his walks and activities. We’ll def be using her again! 🤍”

About: I took a brake from this account when my husband and I moved to Los Angeles and I’m excited to be back in San Diego and ready to meet your pup🐶 I am a Pilates teacher so I have a very flexible schedule and am home often during the week! I have a 10 year old cattle dog and a 10 month old Golden retriever and know how important fresh air, walks and snuggles are for our canines! Im excited to explore San Diego neighborhoods with your pup, or offer a cozy place to sleep while you’re out of town! I live in a house with a medium sized gated backyard and walk my own pups a few times a day aswell as work on basic obedience training with the puppy. When my pups and I aren’t walking the neighborhood, we’re hiking, playing frisbee at the dog park, or playing in the water at the beach. Getting outside is just as needed for me as it is for my dogs! I’m an excited to explore the city with your pup too! We walk throughout the day, we play at the park most days and work on training the puppy to have good manners on our walks and other small doses throughout the day. We take our puppy to weekly obedience training and am able to use those skills to help care for the dogs I walk and board. I want my pups (and yours) to be happy and healthy. I provide lots of love and affection and feed them according to their routine. We walk and explore the smells of the neighborhood as it’s good for their brains! I cross the street if we run into another dog as some dogs are reactive. If a pup is crate trained I typically try and have them sleep in their crate at bedtime since being at someone else’s house is already out of routine and can sometimes cause some anxiety. We also keep food and chemicals tucked away so there are no accidents.
About: Ever since a kid, I have had affection for all animals of every shape, size, and color! I have had the privilege of owning 4 dogs and 2 cats in my lifetime; with my current pooch being a Dachshund. I have raised these dogs to maturity and have even baby sat friends and families pets! I look forward to growing in my experience with your pets! I am currently a full-time student at SDSU where I am getting my bachelors degree in Business. Besides that, I can be busy some nights of the week for social events. Fun in the sun is definitely a must, unless otherwise instructed. This can be a walk around the block or fetch in the backyard and other things such as that.

About: My husband and I have had dogs our whole life. We are available and responsible. We love to walk and be active. We have a family dog who is friendly and chill. My husband and I work a hybrid schedule so we are home most of the week. We can do morning, lunch time and evening walks, provide a routine and give lots of cuddles to your pet We don’t have a yard but we can take your dog out several times a day. We have one dog who can keep yours company. Also happy to crate as needed

About: Growing up with all sorts of animals since I was a little one, I’ve always understood the imense responsibility that comes with owning pets. Having a few pets myself independently now, I also know how important it is to have a trusted and honest person to look after while you’re away from home! That said, aside from growing up with and caring for my own pets, I have also worked in the veterinary field a few years ago. Thus making me experienced with administering medications if needed, as well as having worked with pets in need of special care and attention. From high energy, to seniors! My availability is fairly flexible, within reason and I am always quick to get back to you asap. Though I can’t take any pets in for boarding due to my landlords policy, I am happy to house sit and send plenty of photos of your pets to check in with you if that’s something you would like. Feel free to ask my any other questions that I may not have answered. And I look forward to hearing from you!
“Yesenia walked and fed our dogs while we were away for a weekend. She sent updates, photos and communicated well. One of our dogs needs extra attention to ensure she eats all of her food, and Yesenia stayed a few minutes longer than scheduled to make sure she ate her food.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and it’s something I truly enjoy. Friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me to feed, walk, and spend quality time with their pets while they’re away. I worked at the humane society, so I have experience with various breeds and temperaments. I’m attentive to each pet’s unique needs—whether that’s high-energy playtime, gentle care for senior dogs, or helping reinforce basic training. I prioritize safety, routine, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and loved. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m currently working part-time as a nanny, so I have plenty of time to be with your pet! I’m available on the weekends and Monday-Wednesday I own a home in Talmadge with a fully fenced yard, offering a safe and secure space for pets to play and relax. My quiet, secluded neighborhood is ideal for calm, enjoyable walks. I closely supervise all outdoor time and prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine so they feel right at home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kensington
Leilani did a great job with Atlas! He’s very walker dependent, so we spent a lot of time going over what works for him. She was able to follow all of my directions and manage him well! He’s e collar trained and I had her take it just in case. She’s definitely comfortable with strong pups!

This was our first time using Rover as we’ve usually had friends watch our pup while out of town, but they were unavailable this go around. We were lucky enough to stumble across Jahnobi. She was communicative and super helpful in making Leo feel comfortable. Will definitely be reaching out to her the next time we need a sitter!

We have two dogs, one can be reactive and hyper focus and the other is timid and scared. We spent such a long time looking for someone who we could trust with both of them and who we felt truly cared for dogs of all breeds. We struck gold when we found Sage! I am a crazy dog mom as we like to call it and Sage ticks every box for me to feel comfortable and confident while our babies are out strolling around! She’s shares photos and gives in-depth details of the walkies! We were very lucky to have found her and highly HIGHLY recommend her to all!!

Danielle is wonderful! She’s timely, always communicative and provides such sweet care for our pup. We have an excited pup and Danielle is quick to calm her down and start walking. Our girl comes back home worn out and happy :) I would definitely recommend Danielle.

I am really grateful for Jazmin walking Maggie. She had great photos and kept me up to date and was on time. I also appreciated the poop update when Maggie was having tummy issues, it was helpful to keep an eye on. I would absolutely have Jazmin walk Maggie again!

It was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad I found Daniel for dog-walking services! I was out of town for 6 days and needed assistance with 3 walks per day. Daniel was punctual, communicative, and super-friendly. My dog connected with him instantly, and I will definitely be rebooking Daniel for my future needs!

Jesselle is a lovely person and dog walker! Due to an injury, I booked her for a week to help me out in the morning with my sometimes stubborn separation anxiety type Corso. Being as Jesselle had listed she has large dog experience, I felt more confident she would be able to handle my dog. She is very sweet, very kind, on time professional and my dog absolutely loved her after the very first day. Made me feel so much more confident as I navigated the help that I needed. I am very thankful and appreciated of her and highly recommend her.
