Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. We are active and usually walk at least two miles twice a day. I came across Daniel’s profile, nervous as I’ve never had anyone but myself walk my sometimes very hard headed strong Cane Corso. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. I can’t say enough good things about his work ethic, kindness, gentle demeanor, quick communication, punctuality, professionalism - all of it! Not to mention my dog with some serious separation anxiety by the 3rd morning was up before the alarm in the morning to put on her “necklace” and go walk with her new bestie! She now pouts and looks out the window for an hour after their walks! (ha ha thanks Daniel!) I have booked future walks with full confidence and absolutely no hesitation. I am so very very thankful for his way with my working breed dog and his help!

About: Not your average dog caretaker! I am a big dog lover! I have experience walking and taking care of dogs, puppies as well as seniors, small, medium sized and with a high energy level. Walking with your dog is not just a good exercise, it is also a good opportunity to show them attention and affection. I take a trust based approach to dogs and make sure they feel safe, happy and loved when they are with me. My goal is to leave you with a happy dog and to leave your dog with a satisfied owner. Animal care is a big part of my daily routine, and I love spending time with dogs. With my flexible schedule, I can provide walks, sitting, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and safe while their owners are away. I provide personalized care, including walks, playtime, feeding, and a safe environment. My husband and I live in a pet friendly, cozy bungalow with a lot of grass areas. Whether in my home or a client’s, I follow their routine to keep pets happy and well cared for.

Savannah was excellent! I appreciated how thorough she was and how she put so much care and intention into caring for my dog, Yuki! We scheduled a meet and greet beforehand so that we could go over some details and get acclimated with each other. On the day of the walk, she followed all of the instructions and sent some cute photos from the walk. Will definitely be working with Savannah again soon!

About: I took a brake from this account when my husband and I moved to Los Angeles and I’m excited to be back in San Diego and ready to meet your pup🐶 I am a Pilates teacher so I have a very flexible schedule and am home often during the week! I have a 10 year old cattle dog and a 10 month old Golden retriever and know how important fresh air, walks and snuggles are for our canines! Im excited to explore San Diego neighborhoods with your pup, or offer a cozy place to sleep while you’re out of town! I live in a house with a medium sized gated backyard and walk my own pups a few times a day aswell as work on basic obedience training with the puppy. When my pups and I aren’t walking the neighborhood, we’re hiking, playing frisbee at the dog park, or playing in the water at the beach. Getting outside is just as needed for me as it is for my dogs! I’m an excited to explore the city with your pup too! We walk throughout the day, we play at the park most days and work on training the puppy to have good manners on our walks and other small doses throughout the day. We take our puppy to weekly obedience training and am able to use those skills to help care for the dogs I walk and board. I want my pups (and yours) to be happy and healthy. I provide lots of love and affection and feed them according to their routine. We walk and explore the smells of the neighborhood as it’s good for their brains! I cross the street if we run into another dog as some dogs are reactive. If a pup is crate trained I typically try and have them sleep in their crate at bedtime since being at someone else’s house is already out of routine and can sometimes cause some anxiety. We also keep food and chemicals tucked away so there are no accidents.

About: Hi, I'm Nic! I've been taking care of dogs ever since we adopted our first family dog Auggie over 20 years ago. He and other dogs I've watched had aggression issues so I know how to stay out of trouble. I'm strong enough to handle multiple medium-to-large dogs at a time and fit enough to take them on long walks or runs. I helped out my mom a lot last year with our second family dog Yogi who struggled with incontinence, mobility, and chronic pain. I still miss him but realized after watching my friend's elderly dogs that I'm ready to connect with some more great animals! I work full-time but I'm remote and not overly busy so I have flexibility in terms of schedule. I'm generally available to do walks/check-ins around noon or in the evening and can also have animals stay with me in my apartment during the day or overnight. I only take pets from one family at a time in order to ensure that I can give each pet as much attention as possible. I have an apartment on the second floor of a small complex and there is no elevator so I likely cannot accommodate larger dogs with mobility issues. My complex and apartment are pretty quiet and there is a park with two dog runs only two blocks away. On weekdays I only leave the apartment for about two hours so I can keep a close eye on any dogs that need extra supervision. I'm very respectful of other people's homes and know that many animals will need time to warm up to me. I try to give animals as much space as they need but also keep an eye out for when they're in need of some stimulation.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and currently have dachshunds of my own. I also grew up with a Lab, so I’m comfortable with both small and high-energy dogs. Friends and family have relied on me to dog sit for their pets for years, and I always treat every dog like my own. I’m available most weeknights for walks, runs, drop-in visits, or trips to the dog park. I’m active, reliable, and happy to match your dog’s energy level whether they love long walks or just extra attention and playtime. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, water, and care during every visit. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities.

About: I bring a calm, dependable approach to pet care. I’m an EMT with training in K9, CPR, and basic first aid, and I’m especially patient with both puppies and senior dogs. I also have a mini Bernedoodle of my own, so I understand the level of care, attention, and love every dog deserves. I work nights, so I’m available during the day, preferably morning or walks, hikes, runs check ins, and quality time. I stay active with hiking and running, Transparency is very important to me. If I’m unsure about something, I prefer to ask for clarification rather than make assumptions. Animals are our best friends, and I believe in kindness, patience, and clear communication. I also take pride in having integrity when it comes to following directions exactly as given to ensure each pet receives the best possible care.

About: I've been caring for and pet sitting animals since was around 13 years old and have experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I've cared for large and small dog breeds, cats, rabbits, and fish, including both young and senior pets with different care needs. In addition to years of personal pet sitting experience, I also have a background working in a veterinary clinic, where I supported pet owners and helped care for animals in a fast-paced environment. This experience strengthened my ability to stay attentive, patient, and calm while ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable. I currently have a cat and a dog of my own, and I've even taught my dog a few tricks, so I understand the importance of consistency, positive interaction, and building trust with animals. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my commitment to treating every pet with the same care and attention I would give my own. I recently started a full-time position and work four days per week from approximately 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM. Pet care fits into my schedule through early morning visits before work, midday drop-ins during my lunch break (typically between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, depending on location), and evening visits after work. My weekends are also available for pet care services. I maintain a consistent schedule and make sure I only accept bookings that I can fully commit to, so pets receive reliable, attentive care and plenty of attention while their owners are away. In my own home, I care for my cat by maintaining a consistent daily routine. I feed her twice a day, in the morning and evening, and make sure she always has fresh water. I clean her litter box daily and brush her regularly since she has longer fur. I also pay close attention to her behavior and overall well-being, making sure she stays comfortable, healthy, and stress-free. I enjoy spending time playing with her and keeping her environment clean and calm, which helps support her routine and happiness. These same habits carry over into the care I provide for other pets— prioritize consistency, cleanliness, and attentiveness, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for while following their normal routines as closely as possible.

About: Growing up with all sorts of animals since I was a little one, I’ve always understood the imense responsibility that comes with owning pets. Having a few pets myself independently now, I also know how important it is to have a trusted and honest person to look after while you’re away from home! That said, aside from growing up with and caring for my own pets, I have also worked in the veterinary field a few years ago. Thus making me experienced with administering medications if needed, as well as having worked with pets in need of special care and attention. From high energy, to seniors! My availability is fairly flexible, within reason and I am always quick to get back to you asap. Though I can’t take any pets in for boarding due to my landlords policy, I am happy to house sit and send plenty of photos of your pets to check in with you if that’s something you would like. Feel free to ask my any other questions that I may not have answered. And I look forward to hearing from you!

About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and spending time with them. Whether it’s going for walks, stopping by for a drop-in, or just sitting and petting them, I truly enjoy their company. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t rush interactions - I like to slow down and make sure dogs feel comfortable, relaxed and cared for. I also have hands-on experience helping take care of my sisters dog. I regularly help with walks, feeding, playtime and keeping her dog company, so I understand how important consistency, patience and attention are. Through that experience, I’ve learned how much dogs thrive when they feel safe and loved, not just “checked on.” I’m respectful of routine and instructions, dependable, and genuinely enjoy hanging out with dogs - giving them affection, calm companionship and the care they deserve while their owners are away. I’m respectful of each dogs needs and the owners instructions and I do best with friendly, well-socialized dogs. While im happy to accommodate different personalities, I prefer working with dogs who are not aggressive or prone to biting, so I can provide the safest and most positive experience for everyone involved. Overall, I’m attentive and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with dogs - not just checking in, but making sure they feel loved and at ease while you’re away Pet care fits well into my routine because I’m a part time student, which gives me flexibility during the day. I also enjoy staying active with my own hobbies, so walks, playtime and spending time with pets fits naturally into my schedule. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime and lots of attention. I also make sure they feel safe & relaxed while their owners are away
