“Julio is great with my dogs! My border Collie puppy is nervous around new people. Julio was very gentle and patient with him. I appreciate Julio's calm demeanor and his commitment to learn about the dogs he walks, especially their behaviors and routines. He has good communication and feedback. Overall will definitely be booking again with Julio for dog walks!”

“She was very communicative and took pictures of my dogs and took them on a long walk. My dogs were so tired afterward. I really appreciate her also being accommodating with me. 10/10”

About: I grew up in a house full of dogs of all sizes. I’ve been the designated dog sitter for my friends for many years. I have experience with puppies, to elderly dogs, and even dogs that require special care. I work east-coast hours from home and finish up around 2/3 PM during the weekdays. Free on the weekends! Free in the AM or evenings! I currently live with a dog that is blind so I am used to being sensitive to whatever makes a dog comfortable indoors or outdoors.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and currently have dachshunds of my own. I also grew up with a Lab, so I’m comfortable with both small and high-energy dogs. Friends and family have relied on me to dog sit for their pets for years, and I always treat every dog like my own. I’m available most weeknights for walks, runs, drop-in visits, or trips to the dog park. I’m active, reliable, and happy to match your dog’s energy level whether they love long walks or just extra attention and playtime. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, water, and care during every visit. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities.
“Zaira is absolutely wonderful! Always reachable and communicative, and flexible when needed/possible. My dog loves her and she takes great care of him so I am never worried about him. Highly recommend :)”

About: My hands-on experience covers the essentials: walks, sitting, feeding, and the occasional overnight. And I'll be upfront that I might not be the best person for complex medical routines. (Though I'm open to discuss.) What I do offer is a decade of knowledge from working at Petco - nutritional deep dives, solid understanding of training principles, and exceptional experience reading what both pets and their owners actually need. The thing I'm most confident in is patience. I don't push myself on dogs; or any animal. I let them sniff, ignore, or hide from me - whatever they need. More often than not, the "nervous" pupper who "might bark" ends up looking for me every time they visit. No tricks, no treats. Just patience. My schedule is genuinely pretty flexible. I am currently in between jobs, and my only current commitment is once weekly volunteering with Feral Cat Coalition. I do have a foster cat joining the clowder soon, I am keeping my radius close to home - only so that I can guarantee every pet gets the attention they actually deserve. I am currently not accepting any pets into my home, but I am well versed in caring for pets in their own home. I excel at following directions - specifically the owner's: their home, their set routine, their rules. No matter how cute the pet is.
About: Hi, I’m Rob. I’ve had dogs around me most of my life and really enjoy getting to know each pet’s routine and personality. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to help with walks, drop-ins, and check-ins when you need someone dependable. I work part-time, so I can usually fit in walks and drop-ins during the week, especially after 11am. I keep my calendar updated and only take bookings when I know I can be on time and fully available. I pay attention to the small things that matter: doors, gates, leashes, feeding notes, and keeping your pet’s routine familiar. I’ll keep the visit calm, follow your instructions, and send a quick update so you know how everything went.
“Just had Isabella for a full week of dog walks... and everything was perfect! She goes above and beyond to make sure my dog feels comfortable & happy and follows all instructions. My dog can't wait for her next walks with her:)”

About: I've been caring for and pet sitting animals since was around 13 years old and have experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I've cared for large and small dog breeds, cats, rabbits, and fish, including both young and senior pets with different care needs. In addition to years of personal pet sitting experience, I also have a background working in a veterinary clinic, where I supported pet owners and helped care for animals in a fast-paced environment. This experience strengthened my ability to stay attentive, patient, and calm while ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable. I currently have a cat and a dog of my own, and I've even taught my dog a few tricks, so I understand the importance of consistency, positive interaction, and building trust with animals. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my commitment to treating every pet with the same care and attention I would give my own. I recently started a full-time position and work four days per week from approximately 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM. Pet care fits into my schedule through early morning visits before work, midday drop-ins during my lunch break (typically between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, depending on location), and evening visits after work. My weekends are also available for pet care services. I maintain a consistent schedule and make sure I only accept bookings that I can fully commit to, so pets receive reliable, attentive care and plenty of attention while their owners are away. In my own home, I care for my cat by maintaining a consistent daily routine. I feed her twice a day, in the morning and evening, and make sure she always has fresh water. I clean her litter box daily and brush her regularly since she has longer fur. I also pay close attention to her behavior and overall well-being, making sure she stays comfortable, healthy, and stress-free. I enjoy spending time playing with her and keeping her environment clean and calm, which helps support her routine and happiness. These same habits carry over into the care I provide for other pets— prioritize consistency, cleanliness, and attentiveness, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for while following their normal routines as closely as possible.

“Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. We are active and usually walk at least two miles twice a day. I came across Daniel’s profile, nervous as I’ve never had anyone but myself walk my sometimes very hard headed strong Cane Corso. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. I can’t say enough good things about his work ethic, kindness, gentle demeanor, quick communication, punctuality, professionalism - all of it! Not to mention my dog with some serious separation anxiety by the 3rd morning was up before the alarm in the morning to put on her “necklace” and go walk with her new bestie! She now pouts and looks out the window for an hour after their walks! (ha ha thanks Daniel!) I have booked future walks with full confidence and absolutely no hesitation. I am so very very thankful for his way with my working breed dog and his help!”

“Carolyn walks my dog during my long shifts at work. She takes her on walks, makes sure she has water, gives her treats, and lots of love. She takes great care of my fur baby and I know I can trust her ☺️”

About: Not your average dog caretaker! I am a big dog lover! I have experience walking and taking care of dogs, puppies as well as seniors, small, medium sized and with a high energy level. Walking with your dog is not just a good exercise, it is also a good opportunity to show them attention and affection. I take a trust based approach to dogs and make sure they feel safe, happy and loved when they are with me. My goal is to leave you with a happy dog and to leave your dog with a satisfied owner. Animal care is a big part of my daily routine, and I love spending time with dogs. With my flexible schedule, I can provide walks, sitting, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and safe while their owners are away. I provide personalized care, including walks, playtime, feeding, and a safe environment. My husband and I live in a pet friendly, cozy bungalow with a lot of grass areas. Whether in my home or a client’s, I follow their routine to keep pets happy and well cared for.
About: I have a special place in my heart for rescue dogs—especially big, beefy pups with quirky personalities, reactivity, or extra care needs. Having rescued three pit bull mixes myself, I understand that every animal is unique and deserves patience, love, and understanding. Whether your dog needs a slow stroll to stop and smell the flowers or an active walk with plenty of play and tug time, I’m happy to match their energy and give them exactly what they need to feel comfortable and happy. Animals have always been my passion, and my dream is to one day open an animal rescue and rehabilitation center. As a real estate agent in San Diego, I spend a lot of time at my computer or driving around town, so pet sitting gives me the perfect excuse to get outside, enjoy our beautiful city, and spend time with amazing animals. I do this because I genuinely love caring for pets, not because I need the income. I’m a trusted member of the community with many 5-star reviews as a realtor, and I look forward to earning that same trust with you and your pets. 🐶🐾🤎 I work mostly at my home office or in my car driving around town. I do not have any set hours and create my own schedule so can be available even last minute. I have raised and trained 3 rescue dogs in my past. You might come home to find your dog has some new tricks! I have a ton of experience with reactive dogs, dogs that are scared of strangers, and dogs with high needs. I am very good at reading the energy a pet is giving off and adapting to their needs to make them comfortable and happy. I am probably the most trusted person you can find on this app as I am a local realtor and am accessing and locking up at least 4 new homes a day. I can be trusted to be overly communicative and provide photo / video updates of your pets to show you how well our time together is going 😊

Irina was able to help with a last-minute drop-in, and I’m so grateful. Apollo takes really well to her, and she kept me updated throughout the visit. She took him to dog beach, where he had a great time, and sent the cutest pictures and videos. I would absolutely recommend her!

Sofia did very well with my dog! She took her to the beach and walked her around town when I was away. When I returned I saw them interacting and I could tell my dog was very happy. She also took great care to not let my cats escape while she took the dog out. I highly recommend Sofia!
It was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad I found Daniel for dog-walking services! I was out of town for 6 days and needed assistance with 3 walks per day. Daniel was punctual, communicative, and super-friendly. My dog connected with him instantly, and I will definitely be rebooking Daniel for my future needs!

Jesselle is a lovely person and dog walker! Due to an injury, I booked her for a week to help me out in the morning with my sometimes stubborn separation anxiety type Corso. Being as Jesselle had listed she has large dog experience, I felt more confident she would be able to handle my dog. She is very sweet, very kind, on time professional and my dog absolutely loved her after the very first day. Made me feel so much more confident as I navigated the help that I needed. I am very thankful and appreciated of her and highly recommend her.

Viktorija was the sweetest caregiver I could ask for. Taco was pretty stressed about having a dog walker and she was able to gradually coax him into a comfortable loving place where he trusted her. For a chihuahua to warm up to someone in 4 days is a credit to her gentleness and patience.

Ana is an absolutely incredible dog walker who is consistently punctual, highly communicative, and wonderfully reliable. She has a natural gift with animals, and our pup lights up with joy every single time she arrives. If you are looking for someone who provides top-notch care and total peace of mind, Ana is the perfect choice!

Darya was so sensitive and loving with Taco. He was having a tough week with Daddy being away, and she was able to sweetly coax him on his walks each day. This was a great relief to my stress about working late while my husband was out of town. I will certainly be asking for her help in the future.
