About: My entire life I've connected with animals. Even when I was young, animals gravitated to me, shy or hyper, old or young. It led my dad to call me the animal whisperer. I'm partial to cats, and adopted my cat Dilma six years ago. I love dog though, and grew up with a Golden Retriever in my family. Over the years, I've dog sat for family and friends many times. I have a very flexible schedule and job, freeing me up to watch pets during most times of the day. I also have a pet friendly car, so pets can be taken to appointments, parks etc. as needed. In my apartment, I've set up multiple ways my cat can enjoy and enrich herself. I have multiple scratching posts, wall-mounted beds and toys. I also have a porch area where I let her out for fresh air while supervised.

About: Back in the Netherlands, I grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved caring for them. My family had a flat-coated retriever, a golden retriever, two cats, a rabbit, and fish, so being around pets has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I have experience helping train dogs and caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going for a walk, playing, feeding, or simply keeping them company. Since moving to San Diego, I really miss having animals around, which is why Rover feels like such a great fit for me. I would love to give your pet the same care, attention, and affection I would give my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and keeping pets company depending on their routine and needs. I understand that every pet has their own schedule, so I’m happy to follow your instructions closely, whether that means specific walk times, feeding routines, medication reminders, or extra cuddles and attention. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. In a client’s home, I will follow your instructions carefully and respect your space, your pet’s routine, and any house rules. I’ll make sure doors, gates, leashes, food, water, and any special care instructions are handled responsibly. I know how important trust is when someone cares for your pet, so I will treat your pet with patience, kindness, and attention. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is doing well while you’re away.

About: I grew up in rural Vermont taking care of animals in so many different ways. My family has always had dogs and cats, and I’ve always been the point person for neighbors when folks head out of town. I’ve also worked on a farm for six consecutive years helping care for all type of animals from rabbits, to cows, pigs, chickens, sheep and more. I just moved to San Diego this past month and do not have any prior engagements, so right now all my focus can be on making sure your animals needs are met! I would love nothing more than to see the animals in this city and build connections with them and you! Currently I have a small apartment, but am able to get to parks very near by. At the time, cats and smaller dogs would be suited for boarding and visiting!

About: I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs at every stage of life, from energetic puppies learning the basics to senior pups who need a little extra patience, attention, and TLC. I’m clean, tidy, and mindful of your space while making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their normal routine. For overnight or multi-night stays, my dog Lola does need to accompany me. She is a sweet, senior Rat Terrier who is accustomed to being around other pets. I typically provide daily photos and updates but am happy to provide whatever makes you comfortable in knowing your pet is in good hands.

I currently have a cat and a 15 year old senior dog, so I truly understand the bond we have with our older furry friends. Since I care for a senior dog myself, I’m very comfortable with medical needs. I can easily handle: Injections (like insulin) and any oral medications. Special diets and strict feeding schedules. Senior care for pets who need a slower pace and extra patience. Because I’m home 24/7, I can provide constant companionship and as many potty breaks as needed. Your pet will be treated like family here I work from home full-time, which means I have a very flexible schedule. Your pet will have my companionship 24/7, with constant supervision and as many potty breaks or walks as they need throughout the day A typical day includes lots of cuddles, mental stimulation, and fun games. We will explore the nearby park and enjoy long walks. Since I’m always home, I can strictly follow any feeding or medication schedules your pet requires

About: I have been fostering dogs through a local San Diego rescue for about 3.5 years. I love caring for all types of dogs, but have a particular affinity for large-breed dogs (our dog that we adopted is an 85 pound husky mix). Fostering dogs for the last few years and helping them find their forever homes has been such a rewarding experience, that I recently decided to turn my passion into a profession by going back to school to become a vet tech! I recently went back to school and currently only work weekends, so my schedule is very open during the weekdays in the summer months. During school months, I will be available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I have experience working with and walking dogs with extreme leash reactivity, and I will make sure to redirect your dog from any distractions or things that may upset them on their walks.

About: I will tailor the love and care for your pet based on his or her behavior and personality. I have both a senior dog and a pup, so there’s a huge range of personalities in between both. My senior dog requires at least an hour inside then wants his own time in the yard as for the pup he requires a lot of exercise and then nap time in the couch. Let me know your fur baby ‘s personality and I’ll be sure to accommodate. At my home you have the option to be completely outside or inside, we have cement and grass and lots of fruit trees for them to smell and explore. I would prefer for your dog to be potty trained in advanced if he or she requires to be inside.
