I am one of the biggest animal lovers you'll ever meet! Ever since I was young, I have gravitated toward animals and wanted to play with and care for them. Pets are what make a house feel like a home. Being around animals lifts my spirits and creates a positive atmosphere for me. I grew up with a German Shepherd that I helped my dad take care of. She passed away when I was in college, and I look forward to adding a dog back into my life within the next few years. For the past 10 years, I have raised my cat, Mia. During this time, I’ve developed a deep understanding of cats by learning how to engage, love, and soothe them. It breaks my heart to share that Mia went missing last June, but I continue to hold onto hope that she will find her way home/be returned to me one day. Throughout my life, I have taken care of cats and dogs for friends, neighbors, and family friends. I started my pet care services on Rover 4 years ago when I moved to San Diego. I have experience looking after pets of all ages, from puppies and kittens to senior animals. This includes walking (all energy levels), feeding, playing, bathing, administering medicine, or providing special care. I am trustworthy and reliable, and I care for pets with as much love as if they were my own. If you choose me to look after your pet, you can expect that they will be entirely taken care of and treated with lots of love. Skills: I’m comfortable trimming cat nails. I’ve trimmed my cat Mia’s nails monthly since she was a kitten and have also helped friends with their cats. Additionally, I’m experienced with administering oral medications and skilled at calming anxious or excitable pets when they’re anxious or overstimulated.
