I’m currently in school, so I appreciate the flexibility that pet sitting provides. Outside of occasional Monday and Wednesday mornings, my schedule is very open, and I’m happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. If you’re located in the downtown area, I’m especially available for drop-in visits, walks, feedings, or last-minute check-ins. Caring for animals has been part of my daily routine for over 10 years, so fitting pet care into my schedule comes naturally.

At the end of the day, your pet is your child. I will always take care of your pet to your standards. Whatever directions you need, I will definitely follow. You can always feel safe leaving your animal in my care regardless as I know what to look out for in cats and dogs.

I treat animals like they do have a personality and their needs and attention are those of a child. I make them feel included. I have a great intuition on an animals needs so if I see they are bored or laying down too much, I have no issue running around with them and playing with whatever toys.

Dogs have been part of my life since I was a child, and I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels for over 11 years. I was the proud owner of a special-needs senior dog who I cared for from the time I was 18 until he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge, so I understand the patience, dedication, and unconditional love our pets deserve. I also regularly dog sit and have experience walking large breeds, handling excited or strong dogs on leash, and staying calm in stressful situations. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re out for a walk or relaxing at home. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family, making sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, routine, and personalized care. My goal is for both you and your pup to feel completely comfortable and confident while you’re apart.

Monica took amazing care of my cat Wally while I was away. She was dependable, attentive, and made sure he got plenty of love and attention. She handled his mischievous antics with ease and won his affection, even though Wally can be a bit antisocial and takes some time to warm up to people (it’s the mini tiger in him.) I came home to a happy, relaxed cat, which is exactly what you hope for when someone is watching your pet. I’d happily trust Monica with Wally again and highly recommend her.
