I work part time as a SLPA at Rady Children’s Hospital while attending grad school, which gives me flexibility to spend time with your pups on Tuesday afternoons, Wednesdays and Fridays. I adopted my rescue dog years ago, and she became my best friend, companion, protector, and family. We shared life together. She taught me that trust comes first, that every one is different, and that patience, consistency, attention, and presence matter. When I first adopted her, I was told she didn't like affection or being held. What I learned was that she simply needed trust. Once she felt safe, she showed me who she really was. That experience taught me to pay attention, be patient, and let each one get comfortable in their own time. I pay attention to personality, preferences, comfort level, and the small details that help someone feel secure while their family is away. My girl recently passed away. I will not be replacing her. For house sitting, I typically spend 2–4 hours of dedicated time each day focused on walks, play, care, companionship, and routine activities, in addition to the time I am present in the home while working remotely. Depending on the arrangement, I may be away for periods during the day, but I remain available for check-ins, walks, feeding, and care. About: I’ve taken care of my extended family’s dogs whenever they go on vacation. I also have a senior dog and try to give him the best life I possibly can! I absolutely believe dogs are a human’s best friend and always treat every dog like my own! I currently work from home 7am-1pm, Mon-Fri. I’m available anytime after 1:30pm and available anytime during weekends! I would also be available weekday + weekend nights. I would have plenty of time to play with your pups! About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for most of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I’ve also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors here and there over the years, and during Covid, I would watch one of my close neighbor’s dogs for about a year. Fiona is our pit bull mix, and Rocky is our Chihuahua mix. I also did pet sitting for neighbors on and off throughout high school and college. Earlier this year I also fostered a Husky for 3 months, my roommate at the time was able to adopt him so I still see him regularly when I visit her. I am very active and love to go on walks, runs, and even hikes with doggies. I currently live a very pet friendly building with a dog spa and a nearby dog park. I do not have any pets currently so this is perfect to make some extra bucks while I am in graduate school and get in some much needed dog time. I’m currently in graduate school, so my schedule has some flexibility throughout the week. I am available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I also have time Tuesdays after 2pm. I get super nervous leaving my own dog, so do everything in my power to ensure you and your pet are comfortable. From a young age, I was the kid that would come home with an injured wild animal asking my parents to help it. I grew up with a German Shepard and greyhound, and now have my own dog, who’s a pitty/boxer/cattle dog mix. About: I started by taking care of my moms 4 dogs when she would go on vacations and needed a dog sitter. That really taught me how to feed them efficiently and when to take them outside to go potty. From there I learned how to hang out with them and play with them efficiently. I am a college student with classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I am available for the entire day and night. On Wednesday and Friday I'm available at night, Monday I'm not because I have a night class. Staying over night is not a problem, along with check ins during the days even on school days. I love dogs and am really good at feeding them, taking them outside, and playing with them. I'm not a trainer, but someone who is good at taking care of them while you are away. My mom has 4 small dogs so I'm very familiar with smaller dogs, but I have also watched bigger dogs as well.

I'm a member of PSI (Pet Sitters International) and have taken many courses including dog body language, pet sitting essentials and pet first aid. This includes: their feeding schedule, medications needed, hiding places, their behavior toward people and other animals, potty habits etc. From there I create an environment of comfort for the pet making sure they are played with, fed, walked and rested. During this time, I stay in contact with the owner and update them with notes and photos of their pet.
