About: I have had many dogs and help take care of many dogs. I have never had a problem and dogs are always happy with me. Respectfully will only watch dogs that are friendly, loving, and not aggressive. I work full time from home so can be with your dog all day :) happy to walk them and play with them through out the day. They wouldn’t have to be locked up all day. I’ve had multiple dogs throughout life and currently have a rescue dog. She loves dogs and is very happy to make new friends. She will do great with your dog too

They went on long walks, TV show marathons, squirrel looking, and even to a drive-in movie theater!! About: I have a cat of my own for three years now so I am very familiar with working with animals and caring for them. I am trying to get my foot in the animal industry so I thought this would be a good opportunity to learn more about animals and care for them. I do work part time in the mornings during the week but in the afternoon and nights I have full availability and able to work around my schedule if full time hours are offered. I currently have two dogs in one cats. I have a blue Doberman, Belgium, Melany, German👽 Shepherd mix and a long hair domestic cat. The dogs have had for about seven years now. And my cat. About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog. I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

I've also learned from them and been protected by them ... because dogs are the best species on earth. I have a soft spot for senior, special-needs, and shy dogs. I’m a fiercely protective dog mom and dog Aunty whose beloved boy Django just passed away at 15. He was my heart dog and soul dog. Still is. He was a senior, arthritic, deaf dog with other special needs and health challenges. I dedicated my life to exceeding his needs whether emotional, mental, spiritual or physical, and whether about diet, lifestyle or environment. I became an integrative wellness practitioner for dogs so that I would be educated and prepared as Django went through different life stages. Some of his successes include overcoming separation anxiety, handling hearing impairment with grace, managing arthritis well, stopping tremors, beating liver disease, having agency about his time to die, and staying connected even now. I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 14 years, starting with Django (adopted then), his pals, neighbors’ dogs, and other clients. In New York City, I had a referral-based doggie B&B where I became Auntie to dozens and dozens of dogs through the years who would look forward to their sleepovers and playtime with Django. It was like sleepaway camp, but in a loving home. We'd provide at least three walks per day as well. I always let dogs determine the pace as many walk more slowly than I would if walking alone. I'm always paying attention when walking dogs - not staring at my phone. I'm present and protective of the pups in my care. Healthy, delicious dog treats are plentiful here, though we believe in keeping dogs at ideal weights for their health. We will follow your lead and instructions when it comes to your dogs. There will always be filtered water available for the pups. At our home, you'll often find relaxing music on, nice natural light, and lots of comfortable spots for dogs to make themselves at home both inside and on our Zen patio. We keep our home at a comfortable temperature for the pups with fresh air flowing in, and we have AC or heat when needed. Toys are plentiful, but we can remove them if you're concerned about antlers or if your dog might be a chewaholic. We have kongs and puzzle feeders, too. I always give dogs extra attention at first - even if that means giving them space - so that they can acclimate to the new environment. When my dog Django was alive, he'd mentor the newcomers and show them the ropes. With few exceptions, the dogs adjusted quickly and saw our place as home away from home. I'm good at reading dogs' body language and understanding them on many levels, which includes determining if two dogs might need space from each other. We're fortunate to live in a community that welcomes dogs of all sizes and breed mixes. If you have a dog who needs to be the solo dog staying with us, that can often be arranged. We always want to discuss the dogs' needs, behavior, temperament, routine, likes and dislikes beforehand so that we can do our best to ensure a good fit. We like to have clients complete a client survey and a medical emergency form just to be prepared in the event of such an emergency if clients were unreachable.

About: Howdy! I've been on rover for a few years now. I briefly stopped in 2023 and then in 2024 I moved down to SD. Now that my pooch and I are settled in we are ready to dog sit again! Throughout my time with Rover I developed a number of regular folks that trusted their dogs with me and my pooch. I have one dog, Butler. He's 8 and is a loving and patient dalmatian. And as you can see in the photos uploaded he definitely enjoys the dog company 🐾 See below for my work schedule :) I work in the office two days a week and work from home the other 3. On the work days in the office I am gone the whole time so I ask that your pooch is well acclimated to being able to be left alone for that extended period of time I live in an apartment right now that has plenty of parks around it so to make sure the dogs get exercise we can either go on long walks at least twice a day or go to the nearby parks

About: Dogs are an integral part of the family! Growing up, we always had at least 3 dogs. Dogs are family not animals to me. I have always taken care of my family pets as well as neighbors dogs. As a teenager, I would take care of my neighbors pitbull and cocker spaniel by feeding them and playing with them when the neighbors were at work or on vacation. I know have 2 dogs, an 10 year old husky and a 6 year old chihuahua mix. They are still very youthful and cared for greatly. They definitely do not act there age. I love taking care of dogs and making their lives as special as they make mine. I am a full time dog mom! I am going to school, but I have the luxury of being attending from home which leaves me plenty of time for loving on the puppers. I have 2 dogs that are very friendly. If needed, I can crate you furry family member. My husky has food allergies so I have experience making sure the fur baby doesn't get into anything that would make their stomachs unhappy. I am super vigilant during walks and sun bathing since both of my dogs are severely allergic to bees. If you board your pet with me, they will be treated just like family. Your furry family member will become one of our family members while they are here. Any dietary restrictions or house rules you wish to disclose will be followed exactly!

I currently volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society as part of their dog team. I specialize in dealing with timid dogs (My own dogs have been from a rescue with behavioral waivers) and helping dogs learn basic obedience procedures (sit, stay, heal, law down) while walking. My passion is helping animals feel safe. On week days, I am available after 5pm and I am available all weekend. I enjoy giving dogs the amount of exercise and stimulation needed to help alleviate stress, loneliness and anxiety. Furthermore, I am more than qualified to clean litter boxes, feed your animals and provide a safe and reliable person within your home. Now that I have returned to office full time, I am not longer unavailable for mid day walks, but I do still welcome the opportunity to walk/feed your pets in my non work hours. I have experience taking care of your animals in your home where there is minimal interruption in their daily routine, no matter how many special instructions need to be followed.

In that role, I’ve been trained in pack walks, structured solo walks, enrichment activities, and a wide range of services related to daycare and overnight care. I’m committed to creating a safe, positive environment for both dogs and their owners. I’ve also been trained by professional dog trainers and earned in-house certifications in areas such as managing aggressive behavior, separation anxiety, canine behavior, and basic dog health and symptom recognition. Additionally, I have experience managing large groups of 10 or more dogs of varying sizes and breeds. I work with dogs every day and bring my own two, Lucky and Lainie, with me to work. About: I have worked with dogs for more than a year and would definitely be the best pet sitter & walker and treat them like my own. i am avaliable part time due to enrolling in college. I am pretty flexible with scheduling and will do my best to work hard and as many hours to take care of the fur babies. About: I grew up with both a cat and hogan’s would love to have a pet of my own right now but just can’t afford it, so I love taking in your pets for a couple days and giving them all my love! I work primarily from home with a couple days a month in office, my boyfriend, who is also a dog and cat lover (currently has a dog at his parents house) works from home and will be able to provide all the attention and care your pets need while I am out. On weekends will do everything from hiking to going to the beach with your pets. My apartment is a pet friendly apartment, almost every person that lives there has a dog. We have our own dog park that is attached to the apartment with a fenced in area where dogs can play. No substances or small children, just my boyfriend and I in a spacious two bedroom.

About: I have had many dogs and help take care of many dogs. I have never had a problem and dogs are always happy with me. Respectfully will only watch dogs that are friendly, loving, and not aggressive. I work full time from home so can be with your dog all day :) happy to walk them and play with them through out the day. They wouldn’t have to be locked up all day. I’ve had multiple dogs throughout life and currently have a rescue dog. She loves dogs and is very happy to make new friends. She will do great with your dog too

“Elba has been the best dog-sitter I could have asked for. She and Miel got along so well! She had no issues with the schedule suggested and was happy to give Miel her allergy medication. They went on long walks, TV show marathons, squirrel looking, and even to a drive-in movie theater!! Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”
