About: Hi! I’m a 26 year old dog lover, grad student, and proud dog mom to my 6yr old doodle mix. I work part time as a SLPA at Rady Children’s Hospital while attending grad school, which gives me flexibility to spend time with your pups on Tuesday afternoons, Wednesdays and Fridays. I also have experience fostering through The Animal Pad, a local non profit organization. I’d love the opportunity to give your dog some extra love and attention while you’re away! Whether they need a walk, a potty break, some playtime, or simply a little company and cuddles. About: Hi there! I’m new to pet sitting on Rover, but I’ve been a lifelong dog lover! I’ve had my own Pomeranian names Simba for 10 years, so I know how special our furry friends are. Right now, I’m looking for a job, so I have lots of free time to give your pup the attention they deserve! I offer dog walking and daytime at-home sitting in Downtown and nearby areas, so your dog will have a buddy all day. I’m excited to meet your pup and keep them safe, happy, and active! Requested information about your pet I just ask to let me know in advance what NOT to do/say with your pet. For example, my Pomeranian gets crazy zoomies if you say ‘who’s there?’, he rushes to my front door, spins and bark and it till he will not get absolutely tired. I would also like to know all important details about your pet friendliness with other animals and humans, their health and of course your preferred Pet Hospital. I’m currently actively looking for a remote job in Tech so I have all the time in the world to spend quality time with you fluffy friend. As I have my own pup waiting for me at home, I am looking for more standard working hours I’m not able to host pets at my home, but I’m more than happy to stay at your place for multiple hours during the day. I’ll follow all your pet’s routines, instructions, and any safety measures you have in place. Just let me know your preferences, and I’ll make sure I follow them closely!

About: Hi my name is Abby! I have cared for and been around dogs my entire life. Grew up mainly with Rotties, so I have a special love for big dogs. I also did pet sitting for neighbors on and off throughout high school and college. Earlier this year I also fostered a Husky for 3 months, my roommate at the time was able to adopt him so I still see him regularly when I visit her. I am very active and love to go on walks, runs, and even hikes with doggies. I currently live a very pet friendly building with a dog spa and a nearby dog park. I do not have any pets currently so this is perfect to make some extra bucks while I am in graduate school and get in some much needed dog time. I’m currently in graduate school, so my schedule has some flexibility throughout the week. I am available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I also have time Tuesdays after 2pm. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship. I especially enjoy staying active with dogs through walks, runs, and hikes! I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and grew up primarily with Rottweilers, so I’m very comfortable and confident around big dogs. I’ve also pet-sat for neighbors throughout high school and college and recently fostered a Husky for three months. I currently have no pets of my own, and I live in a very pet-friendly building with a dog spa and nearby dog park. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for most of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I’ve also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors here and there over the years, and during Covid, I would watch one of my close neighbor’s dogs for about a year. Now I’m excited to finally turn that passion into my job through Rover. My family has adopted rescue dogs from local shelters since I was 10 years old. Our first dog was Lucy, a sweet Chihuahua mix who completely stole our hearts. A few years later, we welcomed our sweet boy, Axle, into the family. Sadly, we lost both of them last March, but they’ll always have a special place in my heart. Today, I have two adorable little rascals who keep life fun! Fiona is our pit bull mix, and Rocky is our Chihuahua mix. Fiona was one of the most challenging dogs I’ve ever worked with, but with lots of patience, consistency, and love, she has come such a long way. Watching her grow has taught me so much about understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. Every dog deserves kindness, patience, and plenty of love. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I look forward to giving your furry family member the same care, attention, and affection while you’re away. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide loving, dependable care for your pets and extra loving attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. About: I’ve taken care of my extended family’s dogs whenever they go on vacation. I also have a senior dog and try to give him the best life I possibly can! I absolutely believe dogs are a human’s best friend and always treat every dog like my own! I currently work from home 7am-1pm, Mon-Fri. I’m available anytime after 1:30pm and available anytime during weekends! I would also be available weekday + weekend nights. I would have plenty of time to play with your pups! I would follow any specific instructions and will keep your fur baby entertained and safe. If you have a yard, I’ll make sure to play with them and give them the exercise they need with walks.

About: I am innately an animal lover and advocate and will treat your pet as it were my own. I have been pet sitting for over a decade. I get super nervous leaving my own dog, so do everything in my power to ensure you and your pet are comfortable. From a young age, I was the kid that would come home with an injured wild animal asking my parents to help it. I grew up with a German Shepard and greyhound, and now have my own dog, who’s a pitty/boxer/cattle dog mix. I understand every dog has different needs and equipped to take care of high energy, intelligent dogs who need a lot of exercise and stimulation. I’ve taken care of small and big dogs as well as cats and bearded dragons. I’ve fostered dogs as well, so am familiar with anxious animals that need TLC and time and space to decompress. I’ve invested in training with my own pet that allows me to read body language well. I have been pet sitting for over a decade. I currently have open availability from early morning through evenings during the week and weekends. I do long walks every morning and evening and keep pets on a consistent feeding schedule. I typically aim to take pets on walks 3 times a day depending on the animal needs and client’s requests. I also ensure adequate playtime with toys and activities that are engaging. I am happy to drop in as often as needed for more anxious animals.

About: My approach to pet sitting is based upon knowledge, compassion, communication and trust. This sets a peaceful tone for both the pet and their owner. I'm a member of PSI (Pet Sitters International) and have taken many courses including dog body language, pet sitting essentials and pet first aid. I have a Pet CPR Certificate from the American Red Cross as well. I enjoy pet sitting in the clients home where I can create a customized approach to caring for the needs of their pet and their owner. I also excel at dog walking. When walking your dog, I pay close attention to how they're interacting with the environment and always keep their health and safety as a priority. I'm happy to work with you on finding the right schedule for the both of us. When caring for a pet in the client's home, I first learn the habits of the pet from the owner. This includes: their feeding schedule, medications needed, hiding places, their behavior toward people and other animals, potty habits etc. From there I create an environment of comfort for the pet making sure they are played with, fed, walked and rested. During this time, I stay in contact with the owner and update them with notes and photos of their pet.

About: I started by taking care of my moms 4 dogs when she would go on vacations and needed a dog sitter. That really taught me how to feed them efficiently and when to take them outside to go potty. From there I learned how to hang out with them and play with them efficiently. I am a college student with classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I am available for the entire day and night. On Wednesday and Friday I'm available at night, Monday I'm not because I have a night class. Staying over night is not a problem, along with check ins during the days even on school days. I love dogs and am really good at feeding them, taking them outside, and playing with them. I'm not a trainer, but someone who is good at taking care of them while you are away. My mom has 4 small dogs so I'm very familiar with smaller dogs, but I have also watched bigger dogs as well.
