“Aleks is the best! As soon as my anxious (and slightly reactive) dog saw her, they instantly bonded! She was always on time, very responsive, and most of all did a great job with Chewie. I was comfortable and at ease leaving them in my hotel room while I work and I didn’t feel guilty as she did a great job taking walks and accompanying her for naps and playtime. Even gave my dog a bath and played Classical music in the background which I now discovered calms her down! Thank you Aleks!”

About: I've always had pets ever since I was very little, I adore all pets. I have had many, and currently have kitties and a puppy! I know a lot on how to care for them, and love playing with them to keep them happy and stimulated. I currently spend most of my time at home with my own pets, I occasionally babysit family as well. I love spending time outside, and hiking with my pets too! When I do in home care or check-ups I always want to make sure the pet is well taken care for so I always check their water, food, and let them go potty if it's a dog. I play with each pet to make them happy and have a fun activity, also walks are great. I can walk for miles if you have a dog that loves or needs a long walk, I'm all about keeping your pet happy and healthy!

About: I’ve always grown up around dogs. Growing up we had several black labs, and a golden retriever. I love animals and I have lots of experience with puppies. I’m an active person so taking your dog on a long walk is no problem for me! I’ve dog sat all kinds of dogs including a senior German shepherd for the last 8 years. I have a very flexible schedule that changes week to week. This means that when I’m watching your pet or walking your dog, my attention is able to be fully on them and I have availability throughout the week. I am very respectful of your space and treat it like it’s my own and try to leave it better than when I found it. That goes for your fur baby too!
About: I'm a true animal lover & will pour so much joy, care & LOVE into your sweet baby! I've been a dog mom for 16 years & raised my sweet baby girl since she was 6 months old. She was my soulmate dog & the little love of my life. Her name was Boomie (aka Angel Bug) & she was a Norwich Terrier. I loved her more than anything in the world and went through all her senior doggy health challenges too. She very recently crossed the rainbow bridge and passed away peacefully in my arms. I've been heartbroken and feel a huge empty hole in my life without her which is part of why I want to do pet sitting. I also have raised and loved a few cats and love taking care of cats too. I'm very present, aware and attentive and will make sure your fur baby will be safe and feel loved. I work remote part-time and will happily devote 100% of my time and loving care for your fur baby! I'm looking for extended house sitting + pet sitting opportunites. I will treat your animals with the upmost loving care and will protect them as if they were mine. I am very responsible and will follow whatever routines you have in place and can manage taking care of senior animals who might be more fragile and need a gentle tender care-taker. Carter and Ashley watched our dog for three days while we were out of town. They sent lots of photos and it was clear our pup had a great time with them. She was very happy and relaxed when we returned. There were lots of of walks, and even a hike and beach time. They left our place in great shape. We look forward them having take care of our fur baby again!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Alexandria’s care—she’s thoughtful, reliable, and will have you relaxed away from home knowing that your critters are in great hands! My dog and cat were clearly so comfortable and relaxed with her while I was gone, she’s fantastic. I even got stuck an extra day and she took care of them an extra day for me—such a gem!
This is my first time using Rover and I'm so grateful I found Vanessa. I have an old blind, Australian Cattle Dog with a heart condition who is selective with people and dogs. He warmed up to Vanessa quickly during our meet and greet, and I fully trusted him in her care. We also have a cat who quickly fell in love her. Vanessa was a great listener as I outlined my dog's quirks, and asked if she could take videos of how I administer the medication etc. to keep his routine as normal as possible. She was professional, great at communication, quick to respond, and arrived on time (actually early). A couple of days before we left, I asked her to come earlier than the proposed time and she was able to accommodate that no problem. The house was left in great condition - the animals were happy and safe, and I will definitely book Vanessa again in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of our pack!
