1. Tara S.
“Tara was excellent and the best person we could have entrusted our dogs to for the weekend. She gave me updates, took plenty of pictures and was soo friendly with my dogs. Will definitely be using her services in the future.”
2. Thomas H.
“Thomas was great. He was very prompt in response in scheduling a meet & greet with our pack. He communicated thoroughly throughout his stay house sitting and provided updates throughout the day with adorable photos of our pups. I would definitely recommend his services and we will absolutely be using him again.”
3. Justine M.
“Justine quite literally saved the day when our dog sitter canceled while we were boarding our flight for the 4th of July. Not only did she respond within minutes, she treated our pups like gold. 10/10 would recommend!”
4. Leo H.
“Leo housesat for our many pets and did a wonderful job. They were communicative, sweet to our pets, and very respectful of our home. Everyone seemed very well cared for and we really appreciate the care!”
5. Carolyn Q.
“We love Carolyn and would absolutely recommend her! We’ve used Carolyn for both drop-in visits and longer-term overnight stays. We first discovered Carolyn we had an older, very senior, frail terrier who required much care and supervision. That terrier has (sadly) now passed. But we have two rescued adult terriers, one of whom is a timid, anxious boy. Carolyn has been so good with all of our dogs, even the high maintenance senior and my nervous boy. I’m not sure how Carolyn got the anxious one to warm up to her instantly, but he just had a lovely weekend spent mainly on her lap. Carolyn is both super trust-worthy and super good with all types of dogs. She is our favorite dog-sitter in the valley!!”
6. Luis G.
“Luis was such a lifesaver! He was able to step in when another Rover canceled on us last-minute and we are so grateful he did! Our cat Georgie enjoyed so much love and care for the weekend with Luis and we came home to a very content kitty. Luis kept us updated on how they were doing even though it was a short trip and that was wonderful for our peace of mind! We would have Luis come out again in a heartbeat!”
7. Nikolas G.
“This is the first time that Nick has watched my 2 dogs and he did a fantastic job. My dogs were happy and healthy when I got home and seemed to love him watching them. One of my dogs is very energetic, and quite frankly, a total spazz and Nick did a great job dealing with her energy. He sent photos and messages during the brief stay and my home was clean when I got home. I'm using Nick again in a few weeks and it's a great comfort knowing that my dogs will be well cared for while I'm away.”
8. Lilia B.
“Lilia is amazing! This was our first time using Rover & we needed a house sitter since our old pup, Annie, is happiest at home. Lilia not only took great care of Annie, but also our property. Her daily updates were always a highlight and overall Lilia is a stellar communicator. We're excited to continue working with her for upcoming trips and are super grateful for her help.”
9. Lily J.
“Lily has been great with my two senior dogs. I just moved to the area and she quickly accommodated an in person meet and greet, did a day drop in same week and also watched them one overnight. She communicated well and sent pics. She is excited about spending time with my dogs which is so refreshing and makes me feel good about leaving them with her.”
10. Danika G.
“Danika was a wonderful communicator, trustworthy, walked Wayne often during her short stay and left my home exactly the way she found it. It was also clear she is a big dog lover and enjoyed her time with my monster. Highly recommended! I have already booked her for two additional stays.”
11. Lucía M.
“I cannot say enough great things about Lucía. She sent me the BEST pictures of Ollie and when I came back my house was in amazing shape. I received updates every day with amazing pictures attached. So so so grateful to have found someone like Lucía!”
12. Dee N.
“We are so grateful to have found Dee! Our extremely shy-with-strangers cat even let Dee pet her a couple of times, which is a major milestone to us! Dee responded to our communications right away and thoughtfully sent us a video of her interaction with our Jett. We felt so reassured knowing she was here to mind both Jett and our home. We definitely will be asking Dee to stay again.”
13. Nathan N.
“Amazing! My dogs are handful, but he sent me lots of pictures and updates of what was going on with my dogs. He stayed at my house for an entire week, and left my home clean after he left. Would recommend!”
14. Audrey P.
“Audrey was great watching our older sensitive dog. She sent regular updates and pictures which helped ease any worries while we were away. Would definitely book again! Thanks Audrey! 😁”
15. Troy D.
“Troy did a fantastic job housesitting and taking care of our two dogs. This was one of my first times using Rover, so I was a little nervous inviting a stranger into our home for a week, but Troy put me as ease with his responsiveness and communication. He sent daily recaps with pictures and videos and left our house as clean as it was when we left. The dogs loved him and were looking around the house for him after he left. We will definitely book Troy again next time we travel.”
16. Joslyn T.
“This was Tuck’s second time staying with Joslyn. He was excited to see her and enjoys my vacations always from him so that he can spend time with Josyln. I returned home to a happy, healthy doggo and a clean, well taken care of home. Thanks Joslyn!”
17. Lily F.
“By far the best pet sitter we have ever had! Lily was amazing about communicating with us every time she stopped in and gave us plenty of updates and pictures! It’s very clear that she cared for our dog and 2 cats as her own! Cannot recommend her enough!!!!”
18. Maggie M.
“Maggie is a must hire! She loves all dogs equally. And our dog loves her too. She keeps him safe, happy and wanting for nothing.”
19. David W.
“David quickly became our favorite pet sitter. I highly recommend him to take the best care of your fur babies and you’re home. We loved the updates and pictures while we were away. David is a true gem!”
20. Marlee E.
“I volunteer with Marlee at a dog rescue in La Mesa called the Animal Pad. She is so very good with the dogs. She cares for them so deeply and takes care of them so well. She just has a way with all of the dogs that very few people have. I would totally trust her with any type of dog or cat.”
