“Our dog Bo loves Sarah and we’re so happy he feels comfortable around her. He’s pretty high energy so she will take him outside and play fetch which is his favorite! She’s also really patient with him because he can be a little temperamental and we appreciate that!”

“Paige is such a genuine human being. So kind and full of joy. She is so sweet with our dude (🐶). Not a worry in the world when we are away knowing Paige is there. Superstar.”

“Joanne was very good w my two teacup yorkie’s! We communicated well while we were out. We r on vacation from Texas and so Joanne was super helpful to us so we can take a day to go to the San Diego zoo where pets not allowed. I will definitely recommend her.”

“Jennifer is kind, responsive, and very attentive to animals. My dog loved her the moment she walked into the house. It is obvious that she loves animals! She also is timely, responsible, and took great care of my home.”
“Alex was awesome! Being gone for a few days from my babies was so hard for us but She would update me on how our babies were doing by sending photos. All around I would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future!”

“I almost don't want to leave this review because I want Tara to be available to watch my dog Charlie at any time ;) Tara was AMAZING!! She sent updates every day and was very engaged with Charlie. Tara was respectful of the rules that we set for Charlie and it was obvious how happy he was to have her around. 10000% would recommend.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—starting with our sweet family dog growing up. Now, I share my home (and heart!) with two more pups I co-parent with my girlfriend: a small Shih Tzu and a senior mix, along with our youngest frenchie, Cleo. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on creating a calm, secure, and loving environment for every pet. I follow your routines closely, ensure clean food/water areas, and monitor for any signs of stress or behavior changes. I never leave pets unattended outdoors and I’m always mindful of doors, gates, and other safety measures. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. Availability: I do work a 8-5 Mon-Fri job. I am open to house sitting if your pup can be okay with me being gone during those hours. I work in the El Cajon area so if you’re close by, I could stop to check on your pup during my lunch break. I try to accommodate as much as possible 😊 Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I prioritize flexible scheduling so your pet gets the attention they need—whether it’s morning walks, mealtime, enrichment play, or bedtime cuddles. I work from home and spend most of my time indoors or outside on walks, so I’m able to provide consistent companionship, love, and care throughout the day. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on creating a calm, secure, and loving environment for your pet. I follow your routines closely, ensure clean food/water areas, and monitor for any signs of stress or changes in behavior. I never leave pets unattended outdoors, and I’m mindful about doors, gates, and anything that could pose a risk. I want your pet to feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for at all times.

About: In total I’ve had 5 dogs in my lifetime, dating far back to when I was a baby! Dogs of many sizes and kinds of dogs from small to big, a labrador rottweiler mix, bichon frise and the rest being rat terriers. So from about the time I was born until I was 13 (I am now 20), I owned 5 dogs :). I loved being able to walk my dogs, taking them to parks, just being in their company really. I look after my friends’ dogs on occasion as well as my relative’s when they’re busy and decided that I would love to make it into a career. I don’t have a job, and I’m a student at Southwestern, I was full time last semester but the semester ended just last week. I will be fully free for the next two weeks with the exception of Friday’s from 6pm-11pm (can be negotiated if need be!). I’m open every week day and every day of weekend, willing to work anywhere from 8am until about 5pm. I will be taking one class in the summer, ballet (dance), that begins June 15th, ends August 8th and runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:25am to 11:25 AM for all three days. I would not be allowed to host any pet in my house as we have two babies in the house and we’re not fully aware of their allergies yet, however, it would be best for me to do drop ins or house sitting sessions for that reason. I think doing a meet and greet beforehand would be amazing so that we could have a chance to meet each other first and maybe introduce me to your pet to see if I could be a good match to sit for them instead of blindly throwing me with them!
“William house sat and stayed with my husky for 4 days. Everything went smoothly, he's a great communicator, and my dog was well taken care of. I would welcome him back again. Thanks!”

“Vanessa did a wonderful job taking care of our pups! I think they already miss her. She kept us in the loop and sent lots of pictures. I know they appreciated all of the walks and cuddles. I totally recommend Vanessa for any house sitting services.”
“Emily has turned into a first choice for our fur baby. She makes him feel like a rockstar with walks and cuddles and play time and his own photo shoot. Emily is the main reason I believe in Rover!”

“Our eperience with Jayna couldn't have been better! Jayna did way more than what was expected. Our baby girl (Lani) was spoiled and well taken care of. Jayna took Lani on her daily walks, snuggled her with blankets at night, sent photo updates of our pup twice a day, and left our home honestly, in better conditions than when we left it! Jayna went above an beyond by bringing in our mail, being on a look out for incoming packages, keeping our backyard grass clean, and leaving my kitchen counters spotless. Couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. Thanks so much!”

“Tatiana was fabulous with our boys! We needed someone to watch our older dogs on short notice and she was available for a meet and greet right away, and we booked with her immediately. She kept us updated while we were away with photos of our dogs, daily updates on their walks and activities, and questions to make sure she was giving them the best care. We won't hesitate to rebook with Tatiana in the future.”

“Jenna was such a sweet, attentive and kind pet sitter! She gave regular updates on my sweet animals, provided plenty of photos and videos and stayed in contact. I will certainly be booking Jenna again to care for our fur babies 😊”

“Yesenia is fantastic! She cared for our kitties like they're her own. One, in particular, was going through some health challenges, and Yesenia took extra care to tend to her medication and special diet. She also played with them and kept us updated throughout, including lots of pictures.”

“Crystal is absolutely fantastic! She recently took care of our home, dog, and cat, and we couldn’t be more impressed with her professionalism, reliability, and genuine care. Our dog, who can be a bit shy with new people, has buddied up to her. She kept us updated with pictures and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind while I was away. Not only did she ensure our animals were happy, healthy, but she also went above and beyond to keep my house spotless and organized. It was such a relief to come home to a clean space and happy fur babies. Crystal is trustworthy, kind, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can depend on!”

“Sarah was able to fill in at the last moment when we had a sitter cancellation. Initial request, explanatory texts, and meeting our new pups all transpired within a couple of days. She was sensitive to our new dog’s uncertainties as they experienced a pet sitter for the first time at two months since their adoption. Sarah rose to the few challenges that came up while keeping us well informed with texts, photos and videos. And the dogs, even the skittish one, soon accepted her as one of their own.”

About: I am a Dog lover!!! I have experience with my dogs, and I take care of my friends and family dogs when they go out or travel. I would treat your baby like it was mine. Also I would send you an upgrade and pictures so you can see how much fun your dog is having. I think dogs are the best gift a human can have, and that is why they deserve the best care, attention, and Love!! I can provide that to your dog. Sometimes can be overwhelming for them to spend so much hours alone, without attention or without playing, so I would love to be part of that happiness, to take them for a run or walk, go visit them, pet him and play with him. Dogs are our best friends in life, so they deserve to have always the best!
Valencia Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Brittany was absolutely incredible with our pets and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was kind, friendly, attentive, and clearly cared for them like they were her own. She sent tons of updates and pictures throughout our trip, which honestly made such a difference and let us fully relax knowing everyone was happy and cared for. It was obvious she paid close attention to each pet and their needs. :) We’re so grateful for her and would trust her again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend!

Sarah did a great job with my senior pit bull Frank and they clearly enjoyed each other's company. She followed instructions, alerted me to concerns, and was responsible and conscientious in providing care. I felt comfortable knowing he was well cared for during my three weeks away from home with Sarah there.

Briana accepted to sit for us again and we are very lucky we can rely on her. She was able to sit for us at our new location and she provided great quality care to Hunny Girl. Briana was incredible with some special needs we are facing and i found a happy and healthy pup upon my return. Thank you again and hope we can count on you in the future!

Angela did such a great job with our pups! I have one anxious GSD, but Angela was patient and gave her the space she needed until she warmed up. Then they had a great time! My other one is a ball of energy and she handled him well. We even had a last minute vet visit before our trip and she handled the extra feeding and medication instructions incredibly well. I would definitely recommend her!

Monica was fantastic! We needed a sitter for a few hours while we were visiting San Diego and staying at the Hotel Del Coronado. Our pup instantly liked her, which is fairly unusual. Lots of updates, photos and videos. Will use her again the next time we’re in town! Highly recommend for helicopter dog parents 😆

Crystalinda was truly incredible with our English Mastiff. We received thoughtful updates and photos every day, and it was obvious our pup was relaxed, comfortable, and so well cared for. She also took wonderful care of our home. It’s rare to find someone so calm, confident, and knowledgeable with giant breeds — we are beyond grateful and will absolutely book again!
