About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—starting with our sweet family dog growing up. Now, I share my home (and heart!) with two more pups I co-parent with my girlfriend: a small Shih Tzu and a senior mix, along with our youngest frenchie, Cleo. I follow your routines closely, ensure clean food/water areas, and monitor for any signs of stress or behavior changes. I never leave pets unattended outdoors and I’m always mindful of doors, gates, and other safety measures. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. Availability: I do work a 8-5 Mon-Fri job. I am open to house sitting if your pup can be okay with me being gone during those hours. I work in the El Cajon area so if you’re close by, I could stop to check on your pup during my lunch break. I try to accommodate as much as possible 😊 Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. About: I absolutely love animals. As a kid, I took an immediate interest in knowing just how to communicate, and understand dogs and cats. I even went with a friend to her puppy training course to learn more at age 10. Since then, I've expanded my knowledge and am pretty good at understanding body language. Just like humans, animals need to feel safe and comfortable with a new person. I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. Which can mean a different transition period for every pet. I'm a patient and understanding animal lover, I'll make sure to let your pet know that I mean them no harm and they're safe with me. No matter how long that takes. That goes for you too! Especially during this uncertain time. I'm very flexible and I understand this is your and your pet's home. Please rest assured that I will ahear to any requests made regarding health and safety. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I recently moved back to the area and am available for scheduling. I have standing appointments on Mondays and Fridays from 2:30 until 5pm, otherwise I am happy to play with your pups! I make sure to write down all of your pet's specific needs and instructions. I keep a very clean house and make sure that all windows and doors are locked at all times. If there are specific security measures you prefer I.e. (leaving different lights on at night and/or a radio on) I'm happy to oblige. I will never let your pet off leash and will always go by the rules and suggestions you have given me. I will always clean up after your pet! As I've mentioned before, I listen to you about any quirks your pet may have and make sure to work with them.

She was so kind and took in all the information about them both and asked any questions I missed and did not get over. Nova was soooo happy in all the photos that were sent and even happier in person when we got home. We know she’ll miss Nancy very much! Karla is a fantastic pet sitter! She truly exceeded expectations. On the day of our departure, our cat was uncomfortable with an irritated ear and a bit moody. Karla was very patient with him on their first day together. By the second day he was feeling much better & snuggling with her. She was very respectful of our space & left our house super clean. She was reassuring to any of my concerns & sent plenty of pictures.
Mara was great both with our dogs and with flexibility in our busy graduation weekend schedule! Our dogs haven’t had much experience with other caregivers, and they trusted her quickly and enjoyed their time with her. She was able to take each of their unique needs and personalities in mind when planning for their care each day! 10/10 would recommend!
Brittany was absolutely incredible with our pets and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was kind, friendly, attentive, and clearly cared for them like they were her own. She sent tons of updates and pictures throughout our trip, which honestly made such a difference and let us fully relax knowing everyone was happy and cared for. Sarah did a great job with my senior pit bull Frank and they clearly enjoyed each other's company. She followed instructions, alerted me to concerns, and was responsible and conscientious in providing care. I felt comfortable knowing he was well cared for during my three weeks away from home with Sarah there.
Briana accepted to sit for us again and we are very lucky we can rely on her. She was able to sit for us at our new location and she provided great quality care to Hunny Girl.
