“Anjelica housesat with our cat and dog for a week and was great! Came back to the house super clean and our girls happy. Will absolutely hire her again and recommend!”

“Paige is such a genuine human being. So kind and full of joy. She is so sweet with our dude (🐶). Not a worry in the world when we are away knowing Paige is there. Superstar.”

“Joanne was very good w my two teacup yorkie’s! We communicated well while we were out. We r on vacation from Texas and so Joanne was super helpful to us so we can take a day to go to the San Diego zoo where pets not allowed. I will definitely recommend her.”

“Monica was INCREDIBLE! We definitely plan on working with her again. She took such great care of our new puppy and our older dog, and they both have unique care needs. She stayed at the house and we returned to not only a clean house but happy dogs! She stayed in touch every day and we could tell both dogs were happy with her.”

“Yesenia is fantastic! She cared for our kitties like they're her own. One, in particular, was going through some health challenges, and Yesenia took extra care to tend to her medication and special diet. She also played with them and kept us updated throughout, including lots of pictures.”

“Our dogs who’s very nervous to be left with a new hooman was very comfortable and happy with Arlett. We were at ease on our weekend trip since we know we left our babies in good hands and we get constant photo updates too 🩷”

“Sarah was wonderful with our puppy! He hadn’t been left alone yet and Sarah was sweet enough to literally sit with him all day while I went into work! Also super appreciated the meet and greet so he could get familiar :)”

“See my other review for Griselda - she's amazing! Highly recommend you trust her with your 4-legged family members. She also took lots of photos and video which put my mind at ease because I could see they were being very well cared for. She's the best!”

“Claudia is a very genuine and trustworthy person. My dog liked her immediately and I always trust a dog's judgement :) She has this wonderful calm energy that a hyper/anxious dog like mine needs. When he came home, he was calm and relaxed. She played with him, walked him, and just kept him company. He approves and so do we! We recommend Claudia and would hire her again. ”

About: I have 10 years combined working with kittens and doggies. I’ve trained cats, but also dog walked and pet sit for 1 year. Happy to help! I’m available full-time to care for all fur babies both cats and dogs. It is my passion and happy to help many fur parents in San Diego. I take care of pets from the safety of their own home, by first doing a meet n greet so I can make sure we are a good fit, then I make sure to follow all directions from there fur parents. For dog walking and drop-ins, I make sure areas are secured before coming into their space and taking them out.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets through personal and family settings, including feeding, walking, basic grooming, playtime, and providing companionship. I am attentive, patient, and mindful of each pet’s unique needs and routines. I understand the importance of safety, consistency, and trust when caring for animals. What sets me apart is my empathy, reliability, and genuine love for animals. I take the time to observe behavior, respond calmly to challenges, and ensure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I am highly adaptable, organized, and committed to following instructions closely while maintaining clear communication with pet owners. I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would give my own. I feel I can fit pet care into my weekly/daily routine because I’m free most of the time and Ive been looking for something productive too do that I’d actually enjoy I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect, whether they are in my home or a client’s home. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment by following routines, paying close attention to each pet’s needs, and ensuring they feel secure and cared for. I handle pets gently, maintain cleanliness, and prioritize their well-being, happiness, and safety at all times.
“Our dog Bo loves Sarah and we’re so happy he feels comfortable around her. He’s pretty high energy so she will take him outside and play fetch which is his favorite! She’s also really patient with him because he can be a little temperamental and we appreciate that!”

“Brittany was absolutely amazing! I felt completely comfortable leaving my fur babies in her care. The pictures and regular updates gave me so much peace of mind and reassured me they were doing great without me. This was my first time leaving them for four days (longest time before this was 6 hours), and thanks to Brittany, I now have a trusted sitter I can rely on for future trips. I’m so grateful!”

“Andrea took care of my problem child for a couple days. He’s a special boy with a lot of special instructions and she was great with all of them. I loved how she updated me all the time- tons of pics. I think he liked her too, which is weird to say but I think he’s picky.”

About: I've been the default pet person in my circle for years. When someone goes out of town, I'm the call they make. Over the years I've had turtles, lizards, fish, a hedgehog, dogs, and cats. I had a rescue dog from the Korean meat trade, which shaped how I approach animals that need a little more patience or time to warm up. I'm good at that. I set my own schedule and can work from anywhere. When I'm sitting for your pet, the day is built around them. No clock to beat, no hard out. If your dog needs an extra walk or your cat just wants company, that's what we do. I come to your place so your pet stays in their own space with their own routine. I follow your lead on feeding schedules, medications, boundaries, and anything else that matters to your animal. You'll get updates and photos throughout so you're never left guessing. I treat your home and your pet with the same care I'd want someone to bring to mine.
About: I grew up loving dogs and have always considered them to be more than a best friend. They’re a member of the family! After COVID, I started dog sitting for friends and family members in my free time because it was so fun, and it was a nice break from my full-time job as a copywriter for Walmart’s corporate team. In 2024, I took my love for dogs a step farther and got my own puppy. His name is Yukon, and he’s a lovable goofball with lots of energy. I’ve loved seeing his personality develop over the last two years and having chats with him about what makes him happy (he’s a Pomeranian Husky mix, so he’s always got lots to tell me!) It’s been such a joy to watch him grow into the happy little man that he is today. My goal as a sitter is to give your dog the best care that I can offer. I’ve house sat for dogs that need some senior care (daily medications/specific food requirements), puppies that are just learning to navigate the world, energetic breeds that have high activity requirements, and larger dogs. I love them all and I’d love to offer you peace of mind knowing that your fur baby will be in the best hands should you choose to trust me with their care. ❤️🐾 I’m currently working part-time as a personal trainer trying to build up that business, so I have plenty of available hours to house sit and am also available for house visits, walks, and playtime. I live in a fenced in community that is very dog friendly. Your dog will be able to interact with Yukon—who is always looking to make new friends!—and the dogs in the neighborhood if they choose. It’s a great environment for socialization as well as for safety. I have room to crate your dog if needed or they are happy to explore my home and it make it their own as well. 😊
“Our eperience with Jayna couldn't have been better! Jayna did way more than what was expected. Our baby girl (Lani) was spoiled and well taken care of. Jayna took Lani on her daily walks, snuggled her with blankets at night, sent photo updates of our pup twice a day, and left our home honestly, in better conditions than when we left it! Jayna went above an beyond by bringing in our mail, being on a look out for incoming packages, keeping our backyard grass clean, and leaving my kitchen counters spotless. Couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. Thanks so much!”

“Abigail was really great! She was recommended by our neighbors who also had a positive experience. We have two dogs, one cat and some chickens. I appreciated the pictures she sent every day. The house was exactly as we left it and our pets were happy.”

Mountain View pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sylvia did a great job with our 3 dogs. 2 of the dogs are super reactive and fearful of strangers but they warmed up to Sylvia very quickly. My 16 year old senior dog with eating issues ate very well and enjoyed his daily walks.. She sent us daily pictures and videos of the dogs that reassured us that the dogs were happy and well looked after. I would definitely have her take care of our dogs again!

Monica was fantastic! We needed a sitter for a few hours while we were visiting San Diego and staying at the Hotel Del Coronado. Our pup instantly liked her, which is fairly unusual. Lots of updates, photos and videos. Will use her again the next time we’re in town! Highly recommend for helicopter dog parents 😆

We had a great experience with our Heather! She stayed overnight with our pet cat, Marshall for a full week and took wonderful care of everything. She sent lots of pictures and updates, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. She was very clean, respectful of our home, and so kind. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to others!

Lana was nothing short of amazing and has undoubtedly become a member of our family. She was available in relatively short notice for a week-long trip abroad. Our Ariel is a very shy, quirky girl that has special needs. Ariel connected with Lana faster than we anticipated, which really put us at ease. Lana was an excellent communicator and shared lots of updates and photos during her stay. There were a few days of exceptionally stormy weather that caused some minor damage on our back deck (broken and overturned flower pots, patio umbrella, etc.). Lana handled the situation with grace; she cleaned everything up and prevented any future damage or unsafe conditions for Ariel outside. Lana even adapted to some last minute changes to Ariel’s care plan. Ariel developed a skin and ear infection days before we left which necessitated some additional medical care. We were welcomed home to a happy girl, a fresh house, and a wonderful note. We won’t hesitate to use Lana again in the future, she’s a gem.

Abigail took care of our highly reactive dog and did a terrific job when we went away for the holidays. She sent pictures daily and kept us updated on how he was doing. Teddy can be difficult with new people and she was patient and let him warm up to her. We are so appreciative. We highly recommend and will use her again.
We had a great experience! She took wonderful care of Milo and the house, sent lots of photos and updates, and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Everything was exactly how we left it when we got back. We truly appreciate her care and would absolutely book again.

I'm so glad to have found Marie! She was a great fit for my dog Farley and is a wonderful communicator. It can be a little nerve-wracking trusting your pet and home to a new person - Marie has been extremely reliable and put me at ease during the week I was away. I came home to a very happy dog and a thoughtful handwritten note.

We had an amazing experience! He was incredibly attentive and took such great care of both of my dogs — they were happy and relaxed when we got home. He also kept the house in perfect shape, which we really appreciated. I’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future!
