“Luz was a great house sitter for us while we were away. Our dog Frannie was well taken care of and Luz is so sweet and responsive. Would definitely have her watch Fran again.”

“Once again, Dwayne took great care of my reactive, temperamental mid-sized dog, Jacques, while I was away for a week. He messaged me daily with photos and an update, and alerted me when Jacques had a rough night with some stomach issue. He understood how to handle Jacques' unreliable moods and behavior, gave a twice daily medication, and followed our normal routine for feeding and walks. Jacques was very calm and chill when I returned home. Highly recommend for his ability to handle difficult dogs!”

“Julia took fantastic care of our dog Freddie and our home while we traveled out of town. We received great photo updates, too. We would highly recommend Julia and are looking forward to her next pet sitting when we travel again. A++”

“Paige is such a genuine human being. So kind and full of joy. She is so sweet with our dude (🐶). Not a worry in the world when we are away knowing Paige is there. Superstar.”

“Sarah was super friendly and easy to communicate with! She was available on short notice and took great care of my pup! Trusting people in your home and with your pets can be tough, but I trust Sarah & will definitely rebook with her in the future!”

“Allison is great! From the moment that I reached out to her to stay with Toby, she has been so professional and sweet. Toby warmed up to Allison pretty quickly and I could tell he was happy and well taken care of. I love that Allison sent me so many pictures of Toby while I was on my trip because I did miss him a lot! Toby and I would be happy to have Allison stay over again!”

About: I’m a stay-at-home and remote working (part time currently) tech marketing professional, here in the heart of San Diego. This affords me **95% full flexibility and availability** in times I can provide dog walks, drop in visits, and accept daycare/boarding drop offs and pick ups! :) I care for all animals as if they were my own, because I understand the anxiety of leaving our furbabies when work or travel calls. 🥹❤️🩹🥰 I’ve loved caring for my Bombay 🐕 the past 5 years, and have dog walked + dog sat + cat sat for friends countless times. I live in an apartment with my chill 7 year old pup, and we enjoy walks in the neighborhood and the grass park every 2-4 hours. (On hot days, we drive straight to the grass park to avoid the cement/asphalt). This life style, with a commitment of only a flexible few hours of computer work at home each day, gives me a chance to give plenty of attention to all fur babies in my care. Especially for pups who may feel more at home in a relaxed setting (instead of the chaos of bustling day care centers or confines of a boarding kennel), my apartment can be the *calm* oasis for them whether the need care just for the daytime or for extended overnight boarding. 🥰 For cat parents 🐈⬛🐈😻: I cared for a lovely cat for 1.5 years that I dearly miss. I cannot board cats in my apartment, but I can do daily or twice daily cat visits for clients along with the duties of liter box / feeding / play time. Please reach out to me so we can arrange care! >>> I can often accept SAME-DAY-care requests after 9 AM if my calendar shows me as available. (I understand sometimes things happen last minute and you need a trustworthy person to step in and care for your pet). “Roni was a lifesaver after I had a last minute cancellation. We were able to meet and establish a dog-sitter relationship quickly and efficiently. Roni was communicative and sympathetic in a stressful moment for me. My dog, who can be slow to warm up with stranger, accepted Roni quickly. They followed instructions well and I’m excited to have such a good option next time I go on a trip.”

“Sarah is such a sweetheart! My kitty Sasha is usually very nervous without me, but she took to Sarah so fast. They were playing together on day 2! I appreciate Sarah’s thoughtful care and am grateful to have solid pet care in San Diego.”

“Yesenia is fantastic! She cared for our kitties like they're her own. One, in particular, was going through some health challenges, and Yesenia took extra care to tend to her medication and special diet. She also played with them and kept us updated throughout, including lots of pictures.”

“I cannot recommend Joanne enough! I had a last-minute family emergency and she stepped in to take amazing care of my dogs. She was incredibly communicative, kept me updated the whole time, and my dogs absolutely adored her. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. I will definitely be booking Joanne any time I need a sitter!”

“Brittany was so kind and updated us with pictures of our pets. We felt safe and at ease with Brittany watching our animals. Brittany was great at communicating her schedule. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Izayah was great!! Our 2 dogs really loved him and he sent constant video updates, really putting my fiancé and I at peace while we were out of the country for 10 days. He went above and beyond and got them so many treats and more food — would highly recommend! We came home to a clean apartment and 2 very happy dogs.”

About: I've been the default pet person in my circle for years. When someone goes out of town, I'm the call they make. Over the years I've had turtles, lizards, fish, a hedgehog, dogs, and cats. I had a rescue dog from the Korean meat trade, which shaped how I approach animals that need a little more patience or time to warm up. I'm good at that. I set my own schedule and can work from anywhere. When I'm sitting for your pet, the day is built around them. No clock to beat, no hard out. If your dog needs an extra walk or your cat just wants company, that's what we do. I come to your place so your pet stays in their own space with their own routine. I follow your lead on feeding schedules, medications, boundaries, and anything else that matters to your animal. You'll get updates and photos throughout so you're never left guessing. I treat your home and your pet with the same care I'd want someone to bring to mine.
“Anjelica, took great care of our Lucas. She was very capable and communicative. She has a great calming aura that certainly put our dog at ease. We will definitely have her look after Lucas again.”

“Crystal was great! She took the time to make sure Tyson was comfortable with her and spent quality time with him. She left the house as she found it. We will book her again in the future. Thank you!”

Grant Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
I was nervous about leaving my dog behind for a week, which was the longest we had been apart. Brittany made me feel comfortable that he was being cared for. I really appreciated her pictures and updates throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Brittany!

Rosalinda is a great house sitter and we look forward to hiring her again. She carefully read our notes on the dogs and the house. She has a great rapport with the dogs and clearly loves dogs. Communication with Rosalinda is excellent and she took some very nice pictures of our dogs and sent them to us while we were traveling, which cheered us a lot. Top marks!

Bonnie is a wonderful pet sitter! She’s watched our dog and two cats several times now. They can be a mischevious bunch and she’s always patient with them. I can tell from photos Bonnie shares, everyone is happy to be in her care and feels comfortable and safe. Including our extremely shy cat!

Lyn was amazing 👏 so flexible and sent constant updates. It was the first time I'd done a home-sitting, I was slightly apprehensive to have a stranger in our home, but felt very at ease with Lindsay. I was able to enjoy my time away without the stress and worry. 10/10 would recommend and use again. Shaka had the best time.

Sylvia did a great job with our 3 dogs. 2 of the dogs are super reactive and fearful of strangers but they warmed up to Sylvia very quickly. My 16 year old senior dog with eating issues ate very well and enjoyed his daily walks.. She sent us daily pictures and videos of the dogs that reassured us that the dogs were happy and well looked after. I would definitely have her take care of our dogs again!

The best of the best. Aleksandra took the best care of my dog and met all of his high maintenance needs and then some. She kept me updated and sent pictures and did more than she was asked. I was nervous leaving my dog for the first time and it was such a great and calming experience for both of us.
