About: I absolutely love animals. As a kid, I took an immediate interest in knowing just how to communicate, and understand dogs and cats. I even went with a friend to her puppy training course to learn more at age 10. Since then, I've expanded my knowledge and am pretty good at understanding body language. Just like humans, animals need to feel safe and comfortable with a new person. I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. Which can mean a different transition period for every pet. I'm a patient and understanding animal lover, I'll make sure to let your pet know that I mean them no harm and they're safe with me. No matter how long that takes. That goes for you too! Especially during this uncertain time. I'm very flexible and I understand this is your and your pet's home. Please rest assured that I will ahear to any requests made regarding health and safety. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I recently moved back to the area and am available for scheduling. I have standing appointments on Mondays and Fridays from 2:30 until 5pm, otherwise I am happy to play with your pups! I make sure to write down all of your pet's specific needs and instructions. I keep a very clean house and make sure that all windows and doors are locked at all times. If there are specific security measures you prefer I.e. (leaving different lights on at night and/or a radio on) I'm happy to oblige. I will never let your pet off leash and will always go by the rules and suggestions you have given me. I will always clean up after your pet! As I've mentioned before, I listen to you about any quirks your pet may have and make sure to work with them.

She was so kind and took in all the information about them both and asked any questions I missed and did not get over. Nova was soooo happy in all the photos that were sent and even happier in person when we got home. We know she’ll miss Nancy very much! About: I've always had pets ever since I was very little, I adore all pets. I have had many, and currently have kitties and a puppy! I know a lot on how to care for them, and love playing with them to keep them happy and stimulated. I currently spend most of my time at home with my own pets, I occasionally babysit family as well. I love spending time outside, and hiking with my pets too! When I do in home care or check-ups I always want to make sure the pet is well taken care for so I always check their water, food, and let them go potty if it's a dog. I play with each pet to make them happy and have a fun activity, also walks are great. I can walk for miles if you have a dog that loves or needs a long walk, I'm all about keeping your pet happy and healthy!

Karla is a fantastic pet sitter! She truly exceeded expectations. On the day of our departure, our cat was uncomfortable with an irritated ear and a bit moody. Karla was very patient with him on their first day together. By the second day he was feeling much better & snuggling with her. She was very respectful of our space & left our house super clean. She was reassuring to any of my concerns & sent plenty of pictures.
Carter and Ashley watched our dog for three days while we were out of town. They sent lots of photos and it was clear our pup had a great time with them. She was very happy and relaxed when we returned. There were lots of of walks, and even a hike and beach time. They left our place in great shape. We look forward them having take care of our fur baby again!
This is my first time using Rover and I'm so grateful I found Vanessa. I have an old blind, Australian Cattle Dog with a heart condition who is selective with people and dogs. He warmed up to Vanessa quickly during our meet and greet, and I fully trusted him in her care. We also have a cat who quickly fell in love her. Vanessa was a great listener as I outlined my dog's quirks, and asked if she could take videos of how I administer the medication etc. to keep his routine as normal as possible. She was professional, great at communication, quick to respond, and arrived on time (actually early). A couple of days before we left, I asked her to come earlier than the proposed time and she was able to accommodate that no problem. The house was left in great condition - the animals were happy and safe, and I will definitely book Vanessa again in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of our pack!
Elise did a wonderful job of house sitting for me. She gave me frequent updates on how Georgie was doing and did a fabulous job of making him and me feel comfortable. She’s great at communicating and very responsive. I think she’s especially good at adapting to unexpected situations and keeping pet parents in the loop. I highly recommend Elise :) I know Georgie had a great time :)
Mara was great both with our dogs and with flexibility in our busy graduation weekend schedule! Our dogs haven’t had much experience with other caregivers, and they trusted her quickly and enjoyed their time with her. She was able to take each of their unique needs and personalities in mind when planning for their care each day! 10/10 would recommend!
Sarah did a great job house sitting with my fur baby. She kept to his schedule, made sure he got his walks, and was comfortable at home. She communicated updates regularly which I appreciated. The house was clean when I returned. I would definitely book with Sarah again!
As soon as I made travel plans for a week, I again contacted Daniele. She is now going to be my go to sitter for my dog. I had such a great experience with Troy. He took amazing care of my baby and it gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Tater Tot was happy, well cared for, and clearly got lots of love and attention. On top of that, he was incredibly responsible with my home.
