Downtown dog walking/pet sitting!
Hi, I'm Halle! I live in downtown SD with my roommate. We currently have a 20lb dog at home who I help take care of. My mom used to breed dogs so I am familiar with puppies as well. I've had all kinds of pets growing up from rodents to birds! As a small woman, I prefer small to medium sized dogs (under 50lbs) that I can physically handle in case they are leash pullers. I am happy to take care of larger dogs if they are more mellow.

Every pet has different needs and personalities. I do my best to keep their routine consistent and familiar so they feel safe and calm while their family is away. I am open to accommodating whatever preferences you and your pet may have!

I love how detail oriented Halle is! She asked great questions beforehand that left me feeling like our kitties were going to be in great hands. I appreciated the consistent updates and how she kept to our kitties' schedule perfectly! One of our cats has a medication she needs every 12 hours and Halle kept us up to date each time she took it. I was so happy to receive many pictures during our trip! I highly recommend this sitter! We will book her again in the future!
Halle puppy sat for us 2 days in a row. She’s amazing! What we appreciated: She’s very responsive, was always on time or early, and made sure she was clear about instructions and details. Jinx is 6mo old and has some training but is still very much a work in progress. Halle has been patient and kind and we will definitely book her again as needs arise.
Halle was punctual, very communicative and thoughtful during her stay with our puppy. She left our home clean and bed sheets freshly washed, she took great care of our pup sending multiple updates per day and taking her on multiple walks. We would love to have Halle again next time.
Halle was extremely responsible and attentive to Cooper and Milo and as an added bonus, took fantastic pictures which she sent us regularly to let us know all was well. Our house can be a little tricky to take care of and Halle was a real trooper when learning everything. I highly recommend her and plan to book her first when we need house/ pet sitting again..

Halle was fantastic to work with and gave us complete peace of mind while our dogs were in her care. She is dependable and communicative. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!

Schedule
I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling. If housesitting, I can be with your pet for most of the day. I am happy to accommodate tourists who need a hotel sitter.
