I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling. When housesitting, I can stay at your place for the majority of the day, but I sleep better in my own bed at night. Please note this before contacting me if you need overnight coverage.

Let me know as much information about your pet as possible so I can provide the best care! Daily routine, anxiety triggers, behavioral quirks, etc. For house sitting, I require a short meet and greet beforehand. It would be most helpful for me if you had your Rover profile filled out with basic info about your pet. I also greatly appreciate written/typed instructions for your pet/house. Please include emergency contact and vet info.
A typical day
I like to be active so taking your dog on long walks works well for me! I am happy to walk them to any owner-approved places to play fetch or interact with other dogs! If housesitting, I can be with them most of the day.

Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Halle! I live in downtown SD with my roommate. We currently have a 20lb dog at home who I help take care of. My mom used to breed dogs so I am familiar with puppies as well. I've had all kinds of pets growing up from rodents to birds! As a small woman, I prefer small to medium sized dogs (under 50lbs) that I can physically handle in case they are leash pullers. I am happy to take care of larger dogs if they are more mellow.

Halle puppy sat for us 2 days in a row. She’s amazing! What we appreciated: She’s very responsive, was always on time or early, and made sure she was clear about instructions and details. Jinx is 6mo old and has some training but is still very much a work in progress. Halle has been patient and kind and we will definitely book her again as needs arise.
Halle was punctual, very communicative and thoughtful during her stay with our puppy. She left our home clean and bed sheets freshly washed, she took great care of our pup sending multiple updates per day and taking her on multiple walks. We would love to have Halle again next time.
Halle was extremely responsible and attentive to Cooper and Milo and as an added bonus, took fantastic pictures which she sent us regularly to let us know all was well. Our house can be a little tricky to take care of and Halle was a real trooper when learning everything. I highly recommend her and plan to book her first when we need house/ pet sitting again..
