Hi! I'm Mallorie a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience in pet care, veterinary settings, and rescue work. I've cared for dogs my entire life from age 5 to 31 and understand the joy and responsibility that comes with being a devoted pet parent. I've also volunteered at Helen Woodward Animal Center and worked in veterinary offices, where I gained valuable experience in pet health, behavior, and emergency care. Whether your pet needs a calm, patient presence or someone active and playful, I tailor my care to their unique personality. I'm confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I'm also happy to care for cats and other small animals. From feeding, walking, and medication management to belly rubs and fetch sessions I provide loving, attentive care as if they were my own. I'm available for pet sitting, dog walking, check-ins, and overnight stays in San Diego. I'd be honored to be your pet's new favorite sitter!

Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I follow their established routines to help pets feel secure and reduce stress—whether that’s feeding on schedule, maintaining litter box cleanliness, or keeping favorite toys and resting spots consistent. I also make sure doors, windows, and gates are secure to prevent escapes, and I’m mindful of any household rules the pet is used to. If a pet is in my care at my home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment that’s safe, clean, and enriching. I provide cozy spaces for rest, quiet areas for shy pets, and playtime opportunities for those with more energy. I also monitor behavior closely, so I can notice any changes in appetite, mood, or health and respond quickly if needed. Building trust with both pets and their families is important to me. I send regular updates and photos so owners feel at ease knowing their pets are happy, safe, and cared for as if they were my own.

Mallorie did a great job taking extra care of my senior dogs. She is very communicative and friendly. She also took additional steps before leaving to make sure my home and dogs were ready for my return. I appreciate her flexible schedule and special attention to my babies.

Schedule
Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because of my flexible work schedule. I currently work as a therapist with the option to be remote, which allows me to adjust my availability around client needs. This flexibility means I can reliably provide timely check-ins, feedings, play sessions, or overnight care without conflicts. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I intentionally make space in my schedule to give pets the attention, consistency, and companionship they deserve.
