Hello! I’m Raquel, the pet Nanny! I have been so lucky to have been a Pet Nanny to so many Furry Friends! I can’t wait to keep extending the fur family! I am available for both Dog walking and drop in visits depending on your pet's needs. About Me: I have been in the animal care field sense 2004. But have been an avid pet lover and equestrian my whole life! I started my animal career being a pet sitter/walker and then started working in the boarding kennel (assistant manager) and then become a Vet tech! Currently work in the holistic vet field! For fun I like to competition train my dogs with my husband and do various dog sports with them! I’m also an AKC canine good citizen evaluator! I am fully trained vet tech and skilled in recognizing and handling emergency situations when it comes to your pets. Commutation is #1 in my book. I believe that it is absolutely necessary in order to provide excellent customer service. Throughout their stay, I will make sure to send you pictures and keep you updated on how your pet is doing. With commutation being my #1 goal owner can have peace of mind while they are way and letting their furry baby live their best life! Why I love Pet sitting: I have always been a animal lover and have even made a career out of it! Being a house sitter is one of my favorite parts of being a pet sitter because it allows pets to feel more at ease, have less separation anxiety, and feel comfortable sticking to their normal routine. You'll come home to the happy and healthy pets you had when you left! I provide care exclusively in my clients' homes through dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting. I believe pets are happiest and least stressed when they can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. During each visit, I follow your pet's personalized care instructions, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of affection. My dog walks are one-on-one, allowing me to give each dog my full attention while keeping them safe and engaged. For overnight stays, I maintain your pet's daily routine from evening through morning, providing companionship, regular potty breaks, meals, medications, and lots of love while you're away. After every visit, I send detailed updates with photos so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind. As a bonded and insured professional with years of veterinary experience, I treat every pet with the same care, patience, and respect I would give my own.

Raquel was such an amazing pet sitter. She took Akina in and made her part of her family immediately. I did not need to worry about anything at all (and since this was my first time using a pet sitter I did have lots of questions, but Raquel was very patient with me and answered them one by one). Her two dogs are super sweet and were the best vacations buddies I could think of for Akina. Raquel sent me regular updates, photos and messages of their daily adventures. I would definitely recommend her and will be looking for excuses to bring Akina back to stay with her again :-)
Raquel has take care of my dog Buddy for many years. When I leave buddy with her I know that he is in the best hands. Raquel is so knowledgeable and caring when you leave your animals in her care. I would recommend her anyday.
Raquel has been pet sitting for me for about 7 years. In fact, she is the only one that I know who is willing to deal with not only my house protective cat (aka aggressive) but also my two birds. I trust her completely while away to make sure that my pets are well taken care of. My home always is neat and in order when I return. I have known Raquel for almost 10 years and highly recommend her services. She is experienced with all sizes of dogs, cats, birds and horses and has also cared for pocket pets and reptiles.
