About: Doggy Mama of 10 years for my sweet Wheaten Terrier, Suki! I have been with her for all stages of life: curious puppy, energetic teenager, and mellow adult. This has taught me how to adjust towards whatever needs your pet may have. No matter the attention your furry friend needs— whether it be downtime and cuddles, or zoomies and long walks— I am here to provide! I can administer medication, and will easily adapt to the schedule/routine that your pet requires. I am a sophomore student at San Diego State University, majoring in Criminal Justice. I have classes Monday-Thursday starting at 12:00pm and ending by 4:00pm. I live on campus and have a car so transportation is not an issue. I am able to pet sit at anytime throughout the week that I don’t have classes- and am willing to stay over night and/or through the weekends. Caring for your companion will vary depending on personality and routine but there are definitely some core principles that I carry with me. First one being respect— respect of your home, respect of your animals needs and wants, and respect of your time. I will be present as much as I can be, even if that means just sitting in the same room as them. Another core value, depending on your pet, is exercise. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long walk, a short and slow walk, or even just interacting with toys— something that gets them moving and keeps them entertained. And a big one is love, I promise to absolutely adore your animal and show them kindness in whatever ways they need. That could look like self care: brushing their coat, massaging stiff joints. That could look like affection: rubbing on them, talking to them, and making sure they know i’m here for them. And that could also mean giving them space. Any adjustment that I can make to give you and your pet a smooth experience, I would love to do.

About: I’m mama to four crazy cats: Mark, Quid, Star, and Wally. They’re the most recent squad in a long line of kitties ( + one doggy!) that came before. I’m very comfortable around sassy pets, as well as ones with special diets or medication needs. I took care of my Delia doggy for 3 years, with all her rambunctious walks and homemade meals. I’m currently working part-time evenings in La Mesa, typically 3:00p-8:30p at the most. I’m ready to handle any special dietary requirements (including cooking), as well as medication needs. I’m comfortable with crating dogs and/or banishing cats to a certain part of the residence. About: I have about six years of dog-sitting experience, including caring for my neighbors’ dogs and cats. I have also cared for an older dog, so I understand the importance of patience, attention, and gentle care. She sent us daily updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Karilou followed all of Pina’s care instructions carefully, including her medications and special needs. Paige was absolutely incredible. She house sat for my sister and our dogs. One super high energy, one a little more temperamental and needing lots of love. She met both of their needs so well. They immediately loved her upon meeting. Paige also was incredible communicative and flexible with our schedules. She provided regular updates and adjusted quickly when one of our dogs needed medicine daily unexpectedly. Would absolutely recommend Paige!!
We had a great experience with Galina. She took wonderful care of our dog and cat, and they seemed very comfortable and happy with her. Jack is SO GREAT. One of my dogs is a mean little barky boy, and Jack was so patient with him. After a few hours, my dog became so comfortable with Jack he was laying in his lap, demanding belly rubs. Since, I’ve had Jack back again to watch the dogs, and he’s a great houseguest. Very courteous, so responsible, and great at communicating. My pups can’t wait to have him back!
Chai did an AMAZING job watching our dog, cat, and house! Our dog had to have an unplanned surgery shortly before our trip, but Chai took it all in stride. She dealt with medications, a cone, puppy pajamas, exercise restrictions, and gave us plenty of updates, despite our 9 hour time difference. She left the house very clean, and the plants much happier and healthier than when we left them. She was thoughtful, communicative, and put us at ease on our long trip away from the fur babies. We would definitely ask Chai to come back! 😊
Sarah always takes such good care of my boys . they truly do love her . i was updated every morning and throughout the day on how there night went and what they did throughout the day . it was really nice to get updates on my boys . i always feel safe leaving my boys with hers and honestly my boys are always happy .
Anna was the absolute sweetest with our pups! We loved getting updates and photos during her stay, and especially appreciated how she took the time to get to know each of their personalities and would report back on their individual quirks and how they were doing. You could tell when we returned that they were happy, not stressed, and had been very well cared for. We’re so glad to have found Anna and would rebook with her again without hesitation.
This is the first time for Kaitlin to sit with our new tripawd rescue, Chilly. We haven't yet been able to leave Chilly for more than a couple hours. Working on that ..... Kaitlin was super responsive, understood our needs and Chilly's. She set up a meeting and greet and Chilly took to her. On the day, Chilly was comfortable with her and Kaitlin put my mind at ease to be out of the house for the first time in a couple months. I look forward to being able to have a sitter with experience with a quirky, special needs dog.
