“20/10!! Savannah took amazing care of our pups!! Especially when it came to giving my one pup her eyedrops daily. She took the best photos and I could tell the pups had a great time! 100% recommend and would have our pups stay with her again!”

“Mark and his son were really awesome with our dog, Thor. We booked a 10 day stay, and Mark provided consistent updates on how Thor was doing. They walked him regularly and played with him often, and they have a great home with a back yard Thor could enjoy. I felt comfortable and confident leaving my fur baby with them!”

“Thank you so much, Cerita, to you and your family for taking such great care of Teddy during his three-night stay. He was clearly well loved, and I am sure he enjoyed all the cuddles and attention. We are very grateful for the safe, warm, and caring home you provided.”

“Ami and her family (pup included) were nothing short of wonderful and attentive for Abbi's stay. Easy to schedule meet and greet, attentive communication and received updates/photos while we were out of the country. Abbi seemed to enjoy her time with Ami and came home safe and sound. Would definitely rebook in the future!”

“Rippley and Biscuit loved Kaitlin and Verle! I was so happy to see how relaxed my reactive and senior puppers were at a new location. The pictures they sent me of the dogs in full potato mode assured me that they felt right at home.”

“Whitney was great, very communicative. I received lots of pictures of my little one out on walks and having fun. Absolutely wonderful and professional. Would recommend and will return!”

“Pilar was awesome. She made my baby feel so at home he didn't want to leave when I went to pick him up. She updated me on how he was doing and sent pictures as well. I will book again with her.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Marwa consistently provides exceptional care for Pippa. She communicates clearly, creates a calm and loving environment, and makes every stay stress-free. We always feel confident leaving Pippa with her and highly recommend her services.”

“Linda was incredibly responsive to my request and so easy to work with. She took such good care of my Yorkie and I’m pretty sure he got all the love and snuggles he needed. She is a kind, gentle soul who gave me peace of mind on his 8 day stay. I owe her a huge THANK YOU!”

“Araceli was great with my two corgis. She kept me updated throughout my time away with pictures and videos. My doggos had the best time and I plan to rebook with her the next time I need a sitter.”
“I would highly recommend Gwendolyn and her family. Coco has stayed with them a couple of times and we could not have been happier. Gwendolyn kept us regularly updated on how Coco was and what they were getting up to. Coco came home a very happy dog!”

“Todd and Bill were great with our 10 month old doberman puppy! They sent plenty of pictures and videos and checked in with us regularly. Our dog got along great with their dogs which kept Chloe entertained and resulted in one sleepy puppy when she got home. I highly recommend Bill and Todd if you're looking for true dog lovers who are willing to give your dog the the same TLC you provide. ”

“Monique was amazing and provided me with daily updates on my pup! She also was able to accommodate extending Ringo’s stay as my flight got cancelled and I had to rearrange! Will def be using her again!!”

“Mihaela did an amazing job watching my doggo. My dog is senior so she needs more care, and she was very attentive, kind, and kept me informed. Highly recommend her!”

“Katelyn and Paul took great care of our pup, Calvin. Despite having undergone an unexpected major procedure one week before leaving for our wedding, Katelyn and Paul did not hesitate to take Calvin into their care. He healed up nicely, he got to go on beach adventures, and he absolutely loved playing with their dog Winnie. We look forward to being able to drop Calvin off during our future travels, knowing that he's in good hands!”

“We’ve now completed two trial daycare days and two trial boarding stays with Mark, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Mello has separation anxiety, so we wanted to make sure she truly felt safe and comfortable before her official boarding. Mark has been incredibly patient, thoughtful, and genuinely caring every step of the way. He really goes above and beyond — he even brings Mello along with him when he’s out running quick errands like picking up pizza or McDonald’s, just so she can feel included and never alone. It’s clear he’s not just watching dogs — he’s trying to be their best friend. The biggest and most wonderful surprise: we had arranged trazodone for Mello to help with her anxiety and sleep, but she’s become so comfortable and happy there that she no longer needs it to rest well at night. That means everything to us. We’re heading into her official boarding stay next, and we feel completely confident she’ll have a great time. Thank you, Mark, for caring for Mello like your own!”

“Amber did a drop-in visit with me and did a good job with short notice because I needed to work late. She did a report card and sent a picture and did a good job with Bailey.”

“Adrian is simply the best. They took diligent care of my cat, provided quality photos and described my cat's mood and condition with each visit. I can't emphasize how nice it was to know Lila Bear was under such loving care. I think it is very advantageous to have a cat sitter who owns a cat themselves. Adrian has two. I highly recommend Adrian for your next sitter needs.”

“Brenda was great with my shy cat! Typically she doesn’t come out for sitters unless there’s food involved, but she came out for Brenda and played with her. Brenda tried many different toys and even brought some of her own to play with my cat. She sent me plenty of pictures of her for my piece of mind!”

About: Cats have been a part of my life forever, and I truly cherish every moment caring for them! I currently share my home with a sweet cat I fostered for several months before adopting. I understand how special each cat is, and I’m dedicated to providing gentle, compassionate care tailored to their unique personality. With me, your kitty will feel loved, safe, and truly at home.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats around the neighborhood for years. When our neighbors go on trips, they leave their pets in my care. In the past, I've gone to the beach, taken long walks, and helped with basic training. I am excited to meet all my new furry friends :) I am free any time, any day! 😁 I are happy to take care of your pet at any time. Your pet will be the center of my attention. I live in a fenced yard with plenty of space for your furry friends to run around. My home is quiet, and there's always someone around to be with your pet. I live in a safe, secure home, with lots of inside space to chill out.
“William is super awesome. He took great care of our young pup and was a very cool and funny guy to boot. He was definitley flexible and super responsive. He’ll be a great buddy for my buddy going forward.”

About: Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m a longtime dog owner with over 16 years of experience, and I recently returned to Rover after taking a few years’ hiatus to care for our senior pup full-time. We recently said goodbye to our sweet girl, Mika, who was with us for 16.5 wonderful years. Caring for her taught us so much about patience, comfort, and the extra love senior dogs need. While we’re not quite ready to adopt again, we would truly love to share that love with your pup. My husband and I have a calm, dog-free home, which allows us to give your dog our full attention in a peaceful, low-stress environment. We have a special place in our hearts for senior dogs and those who may need gentler care, but we love pups of all ages. Your dog’s days will include two walks (adjusted for age and energy level), playtime or cozy downtime, treats with your approval, and lots of affection and belly rubs. I also provide photo updates and check-ins so you can feel confident your furry family member is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. A Few Things I’d Love to Know To provide the best care possible, please let me know: • Any special needs or medical considerations • If your dog experiences separation anxiety • Feeding schedule, diet, medications, or allergies • Their daily routine and energy level • Favorite comforts, routines, or quirks Important Note Extended stay: An additional $25 day rate applies if pick-up is over the 24-hour period. Your pup will get plenty of attention. We can go for walks and have some play time. Ofcourse (if your pet is older we will go for shorter walks) They’ll get treats and belly rubs. We have a patio with grass they can go potty anytime :) I have a cozy and fenced patio. They can sit and lay out by the sun. I also have a grassy area for potty breaks anytime the want.
“Letitia was great to work with! She has a nice setup for watching pets both durning rain and without rain. One of the reasons we chose to have Letitia watch the dogs was because she was the only one that suggested a meet and greet before committing to watch our dogs. Very professional and nice arrangement for the dogs!”

About: Hi there! My wife and I both work from home in College Area, so we are an ideal match for someone looking for a long-term solution to their dog walks/drop-in needs! Our house is 1 mile from the SDSU campus, and we walk our dog about 3-4 miles 6 times a week. We use Rover's app that will email/text you the details of your dog's walk/drop-in, including bathroom breaks, notes, GPS route tracking, and pictures. Dogs have always been a part of our lives, and having both been volunteers in the past, we're well aware of the balance needed for a dog to live a healthy DOG (not human) life. Providing our dog a balanced life is one of the reasons we adjusted our schedules at work, so we wouldn't have to leave Cabby all cooped up while we were gone for 9+ hours a day. We'd love to talk to you about your dog walking/drop-in needs, any questions you'd have for us, and of course to talk about your dog in particular. Rest assured, if there's someone who's going to love your dog like you would, you've come to the right place! About this sitter: We've always been the go-to dog sitter for family and friends. We've both also volunteered at different dog shelters in Michigan, Illinois, and California. Why I love dog sitting: My family got our first dog when I was just 2 years old. I've had at least one dog in my family ever since. Meet my pets: Brookie! See my profile for more information. I can take your dog for a walk and/or do a drop-in visit in the mornings, during lunch, or even later in the evening. I am happy to find a schedule that works best for you and that your dog is comfortable with. I am already very active and know the neighborhood, streets, and nearby parks very well. I walk a lot during the week as part of my regular exercise, and having your dog join me would make it that much more enjoyable.

Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, or a calm, steady presence, I provide dependable care and regular updates for your peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I have recently retired from the law enforcement profession so I have plenty of availability and flexibility to work with your individual pet care needs. I’m happy to crate your pets and even accept puppies.

About: I only accept one doggie family at a time, so your dog(s) will be the only ones here for boarding and doggie day care. I wanted to create a safe place for reactive dogs, little loners, and calm senior doggies who just want a place they can be themselves and have my full attention! I am a dog-lover with my whole life of experience in caring for them. I have had them in all shapes and sizes - my first two dogs being big German Shepherds to my last dog which was a little Maltipoo, and a few in between. I have potty trained quite a few dogs in my life, as well as helped them through their senior years. Most important of all, I will love your pets like they're my own children! 🩷 I'm currently working part time from home so I have plenty of availability to take your pup outside for potty breaks or walks and give them attention throughout the day. I have a safe, fenced yard with plenty of room for sniffing and sunshine. Big dogs will have room to run and fetch. I also have senior dog care items like a step to get on the couch. I allow dogs to be free in the house, they are never crated unless the owner specifically requests it as part of their nightly routine. In that case - I have a long gate that can be made into a pen, and a cage for a small dog, if requested. Pets are family here - I have always allowed my own pets on the couch or bed and will do the same for yours unless you prefer otherwise.

“Piper & I have found our person!! my dog has her own beautiful Zen zone with Sandee. She was so happy & relaxed when I picked her up. Sandee is an angel!! All the pics and videos are amazing too!”

“My dog, Bella, had an amazing time at Robert and Andrea’s house while I was at work. Indy, their sweet dog, was such a good host too! It was my first time doing “day care” and they made me feel so assured and provided updates as my pup settled in. They went out of their way to make us both feel comfortable. I will definitely be requesting to have them pet sit again!!”

“Kate was awesome. She responded right away during booking. She made this a great expetience for me. My dog was so happy to have stayed with Kate B. She was professional, kind and caring. Thank you. See you next time.”

“Had a last minute trip and Melanie was able to accommodate us. She was very informative, sent pictures and let us know how she was doing. I would love to use Melanie again when we are in town.”

About: I grew up with 2 large dogs in the house at all times, they were very high energy often needing multiple walks or runs a day. I dog sat for various neighbors throughout high school and my first job at 14 was an under the table gig as an assistant for a local dog trainer for two summers. I work part time at a surf shop however the shifts are never more than 6 hours and don’t make it difficult to attend pets often. Your dog will be visited often typically every 4-5 hours (will be more often if the dog is crated or if the owner request) I am comfortable house sitting as well. When just pet sitting I usually visit the house 3-5 times a day, the first typically around 7-8am to feed your pup and hang out with them for 20-30 mins. The second is usually midday between 11-2 (depending on my work schedule), for my second visit I’ll take your pup on a walk (or run if requested) and then typically hang out with your dog at the house for up to a few hours while I do internship work on my computer or read a book. (On a busier day this longer visit will be spilt into two or three shorter ones). And lastly visting your pup for 20-30 mins to feed them again and use the bathroom before night around 7-9pm. I know everyone has different ways of caring for their pups, I’m very adaptable for whatever your dog may need

About: In addition to caring for my own lovely cat and senior pup, I have pet sat for friends and family members regularly for the past 10+ years. I have experience with fur babies with a range of quirks, behaviors, and medical needs, so I am prepared for anything that comes my way. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to spend caring for critters, especially during the upcoming summer break! I am very careful and safety-conscious, so you can be sure I will leave your home secure and comfortable for your pets when I visit.
About: I have two dogs of my own, a Great Dane and a Poodle mix, so I know firsthand how nerve wracking it is to hand your dog off to someone you don't know. I get it! I'm not just a sitter, I'm a dog owner who actually understands what you're trusting someone with. And as a Great Dane owner, giant breeds and big personalities are my comfort zone. No size is going to phase me! I run my own creative business, so my schedule is genuinely flexible in a way that most sitters can't offer. No 9 to 5 I'm working around. I can typically accommodate drop ins and walks at times that actually work for you, not just whatever's left in my day. I'm the dog mom who leaves a five page document for my own sitters, so trust me, no request is too silly. Special feeding routine? Weird little habit your dog has that you think "how will I explain this to the dog sitter"? I want to know. I'll follow it. And I always send photo updates so you're not just sitting there wondering how your pup is doing.
About: I go beyond just walking dogs—I provide personalized care tailored to each pup’s needs. Whether it’s patience and gentle handling for senior dogs, basic training reinforcement for puppies, or extra playtime for high-energy breeds, I ensure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. With experience in handling various temperaments and special needs, I treat every pet like family. Pet care is a big part of my weekly routine, and I make sure to dedicate plenty of time to it. I am pretty flexible during the weekend and available during most of the day during the week to provide care when needed. I prioritize reliability and flexibility, ensuring that every pet gets the love, exercise, and care they deserve At my home, I have a safe, fenced-in yard where dogs can play freely. For extra exercise, I take the dogs on walks or hikes. If a dog is crate-trained and their owner provides a crate, I know how to use it properly to ensure the dog feels comfortable and secure. Whether in my home or a client’s, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for, adjusting to their individual needs and routines.

“I hired Zane to walk my dog, and I couldn't be happier with the service he provided. Zane was consistently punctual, always arriving on time to pick up and drop off my dog. He also had excellent communication throughout the entire process, providing me with updates on my dog's well-being and behavior during the walk. What really impressed me was the level of detail in Beni’s updates. He would let me know where they walked, how long they walked for, and if my dog had any issues or special needs during the walk. It was clear that he truly cared about my dog's well-being and was attentive to his needs. Overall, I highly recommend Zane as a dog walker. His punctuality, excellent communication, and attention to detail make him a reliable and trustworthy choice for anyone in need of pet care services.”

“Merlin had a wonderful time at Andrew’s! He sent updates at least once a day and took Merlin outside to play and expel his super high energy. I highly recommend Andrew for anyone needing care for their pet! He was very professional and was super knowledgeable about behavior recognition and training! His two dogs, Zeus and Baloo, are super sweet and interacted with Merlin very well.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the way I treat every pet like family while tailoring care to their unique needs. I have hands-on experience with both energetic puppies who need consistent training and gentle guidance, as well as senior pets who may require extra patience, medication reminders, and comfort. I focus on creating a safe, calm environment where pets feel loved and secure, even when their owners are away. Whether it’s reinforcing good habits, providing lots of play and exercise, or offering slow walks and cuddles for older pets, I adapt to what each furry friend needs. My goal is to make sure they’re not only cared for, but genuinely happy. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I am home full-time with no other job commitments. This allows me to give pets my full attention throughout the day In my home, pets enjoy a clean, bug-free space with a fenced backyard for safe play and exercise. I provide fresh water, regular breaks, and lots of attention.
“Jason was wonderful and showed great care for my dog, Sasha! From the moment we had our initial visit, I felt at ease (and Sasha instantly connected with him). Jason was incredibly adaptable to Sasha's specific needs, taking the time to understand her personality and routine. Throughout her stay, he sent me numerous photos and videos, which was such a relief and made me feel connected even when I was away. Above all, he sent us home with a special bag of treats, which, coming from someone in the hospitality industry, was such a delightful surprise. I highly recommend Jason to anyone looking for personalized care for their furry family members. Sasha and I are both looking forward to our next visit!”

“I have been using Anar for years and she has always been amazing with Miso. She is extremely skilled in animal behavior and properly socializing dogs. I always have peace of mind leaving my dog with her.”

“Jocy was amazing with our pup, Bella. We had a great little meet and greet and she made sure our girl was right at home. She sent us notes to clarify her needs before the stay and she sent lots of photos and updates throughout the stay. We would recommend Jocy to anyone!”
“Benny immediately gravitated towards Nick and we knew it was a good match. Nick expressed his love of dogs and it showed with the care he provided Benny. Nick was very attentive and kept us updated with Benny very frequently, providing pictures and videos of Benny enjoying his time with Nick. We also appreciated the feedback that Nick provided at the end of Benny's stay with Nick. Overall we are extremely happy with Nick and look forward to having Benny under his care in the future.”

“Marissa and her partner were quick to respond to our last minute request. They took great care of our mastiff at her first sleepover. We will definitely use Marissa to take care of our big girl again.”

“Susan and her family are very experienced with dogs. My GSD stayed with them for a few days and I can tell she had a great time walking and playing with them and other dog and had peaceful time with cats. Susan sent me frequent updates with pictures which made me feel so much ease. I appreciate all her efforts caring my dog. I would definitely go to her next time without any hesitation. Thanks Susan!”

“Trent and his family took great care of our 2-year old dog for 2 weeks over the holidays. Our dog is very social and active, so it was great that they have 2 dogs of their own to play with and a great little dog park just a few yards away. Our dog was not crate-trained, so we also appreciated the flexibility they showed in boarding her. Pickup/dropoff and communication was great, including photos and videos. Thanks!”
