I asked Elijah to meet us a day early so I could introduce them properly and he was happy to do so. While he was dog sitting he sent a ton of cute photos of the pups and updated me periodically so I knew everything was going smoothly. About: I have loved animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Growing up, I regularly walked all the neighborhood dogs, and today I help care for my friends' pets by walking their dogs and house sitting for both dogs and cats while they're away on vacation. I currently have two cats and a senior dog, so I'm comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your dog loves a long walk, a slower stroll, or just some extra attention and companionship, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every pet like they're my own and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust. I love animals of all sizes and look forward to giving your furry family member the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. I work full-time in wholesale flowers and finish my workday around 2:00 PM, which gives me dedicated time each weekday to care for pets. I'm available Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM for walks, drop-in visits, and pet care. I usually spend my afternoons outside, and I often find myself wishing I had another dog to join me on my walks! My own senior dog prefers her walks later in the evening, so my afternoons are the perfect time to give your dog the exercise, attention, and companionship they need. Whether it's an energetic walk, playtime, or a visit to check in on your cat, I'm excited to help care for your furry family members. I believe pets thrive when they have a consistent routine, a clean environment, and lots of love and attention. At home, I make it a habit to check my pets' food and water every day, clean their bowls regularly, keep their litter box fresh, and maintain a clean water fountain with routine filter changes. I also make sure my senior dog has fresh food and water, a clean feeding area, and that everyone is happy, healthy, and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routines as closely as possible because I know consistency helps pets feel safe while their family is away. I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of attention, exercise or playtime, and a clean space. I'll also keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or anything that seems unusual and communicate with you right away if needed. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own, and I'm happy to provide photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

Charlie was amazing! She took excellent care of my pets and let me know how everything was going. My dog looked so happy in the pictures and not stressed like she has been when I’ve been gone in the past. My cats actually played! I have two cats that are not very friendly or playful but the pictures showed them playing! It was awesome. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to take wonderful care of your critters!
Sarah is truly a gem! She immediately hit it off with our 2-year old golden retriever Jackson. She took him on several walks throughout the day and we could see from the pictures she sent that our boy was having a great day while we were away. Sarah is warm, friendly, reliable and clearly loves caring for our furry companions. We highly recommend Sarah and will definitely ask her to stay with Jackson again.
Mesa is fantastic! This is our 2nd time having Mesa dog/house sit for us. She spent a week looking after our 2 large 6-year old lab/shepherd pups. One of our boys has special needs due to a partial acl tear. Mesa handled all their needs with perfection. She communicated with us daily and left the house spotless. We'll definitely look to Mesa for future needs.
Kaitlin took such great care of my pets, and my apartment! I’m always nervous to have someone new stay in my space and care for my animals, but Kaitlin’s caring and kind demeanor made me feel at ease :) She sent me updates and pictures daily, and was easily able to follow all the instructions. I know my pets really enjoyed spending time with her, too. She also left my apartment tidy and clean, which was so nice to come home to after a long trip.
Claudia came to our rescue when we needed daytime sitting for a couple of days last minute. She made the effort to get acquainted with our dog before starting. Claudia was very caring and gentle with our fur baby, who is generally anxious with strangers, especially without us there with her. We got updates with photos throughout the day, which were very comforting and appreciated. We're really grateful for Claudia's service, and would absolutely go to her again.
Alan took such great care of our pups! He was responsive and provided updates and did really well with following care instructions. The dogs were very mellow and calm after we came back and usually they’re a lot more high energy, which goes to show that they really enjoyed their time with him and were comfortable with him. 100% would rebook with him!
Emily was great! She gave updates and pics regularly and made me feel like I could take the time away from home. My dog is a senior and has become a finicky eater…especially when I am gone. Emily had to hand feed him multiple times…she took the time to care for him and I’m sure it wasn’t easy.
Monica was truly wonderful. This was our first time leaving Benji with anyone else since adopting him, and because he is a rescue who can be a little skittish with new people, we were understandably nervous. But the moment Monica walked through the door, her sweet, gentle demeanor immediately put us at ease. Benji clearly felt safe with her too, because he settled down and stopped whining shortly after we left. Monica sent us photos and thoughtful updates throughout the evening without us ever having to ask, and showed so much genuine care for our little guy. We were visiting San Diego, and she came to our Airbnb to watch him, which made everything incredibly easy. We truly cannot recommend her enough, especially for rescues or dogs who need a little extra patience and gentleness. My husband and I only wish she lived in L.A. because we would book her again in a heartbeat!
The absolute best! Leah (Caitlin) took wonderful care of our home and two pups (a very high energy one and a brand new puppy!) while we were away. Communication was excellent, she sent regular updates and photos, and we came home to two very happy doggos. Already booked for future sittings :) highly recommend!
Dwayne and Ashna were amazing! They were great at communicating without texting us too much which made our time out of town enjoyable. They left our apartment clean, started the dishwasher, and washed our bedsheets which was so thoughtful of them. This was my first Rover experience where I came home not feeling stressed about having to deep clean our home. They are the only people I would want to housesit in the future. This was our first time booking with Janet- she is a very competent and capable dog sitter!
