1. Mara A.
“Cannot say better things about Mara. She stayed at home and was so sweet to my cat Jagger and dog Han. Maintaining me updated while I was away with photos. When I arrived back home they were so relaxed they didn’t even get up from the couch to greet me 😂. Will definitely rebook with Mara, she is easy to speak to and wholeheartedly a caring person. Thank you Mara!”
2. Jennifer W.
“We had a great experience with Jennifer! This is the first time we have ever left our dear dog Izzy in the care of another person, and the first time we had someone we did not know personally stay in our house. Both things worked out really well. Before she even started taking care of Izzy in our home, she came over to meet all of us, followed by another visit to take a walk with Izzy and myself to check all the "hot spots" in the neighborhood (aka rowdy dogs that Izzy might react to). It was another good opportunity for Izzy and I to get acquainted with Jennifer. During our time away, Jennifer sent frequent and very much appreciated updates and left the house in perfect order. We are so happy to be able to work with Jennifer again.”
3. Debbie D.
“Debbie takes excellent care of my dog Henry. He is anxious dog, she does a great job making him feel comfortable and keeps up his normal routine as much as possible.”
4. Justine M.
“Justine was great! Very responsive, kept us updated the whole time with pics and text, flexible with pick up & drop off (esp considering our flight home was delayed), and was even kind enough to do a meet up beforehand to make sure our pup was comfortable while we were gone.”
5. Ralph R.
“Ralph, you're a lifesaver! Hilda can be a handful, but you handled her like a pro. Thx for taking such good care of my girl!”
6. Brittany P.
“Brittany has a wonderful energy and kind personality that makes animals love her as much as she loves them. Normally shy dogs and cats warm up to her amazingly fast, and I absolutely attribute it to her innate understanding and focus on the animal’s experience. She is passionate about the health of the animals she cares for, and takes joy in seeing them thrive. Brittany truly loves animals, and cares for and protects other’s pets as if they were her own. She has proved herself incredibly attentive to an animal’s behavior and really understands their “language” - she picks up on subtle changes in demeanor and reacts quickly. If you are looking for a caretaker or dog walker, I cannot recommend Brittany highly enough!”
7. Lily J.
“Lily was incredible with Mowgli! She was so kind and helpful, even with all of our pup's medical needs.”
8. Seana R.
“It’s hard to find a sitter that you can trust with your beloved pets. I have two rabbits that need daily attention and interaction, not to mention the fact that they follow structured diets to keep them healthy while I’m gone. I’m so glad that I found Seana. Her attention to detail and soft touch when it comes to caring for my bunnies makes me believe that she really cares about them as if they were her own. She cleaned litter boxes, shoveled hay, and followed my instructions to the letter, professionally and reliably. One thing that made Seana stand out among all the rest was the fact that she offers pet portraits during the sit! She’s an incredible photographer, and this was a wonderful way to get some lovely shots of my bunnies that I really hadn’t considered before. They were so worth it, and I’m tempted to add the portrait package on to future sits as well. If you couldn’t tell already, I would not hesitate to use Seana for all my future pet sittings, and will recommend her to all my friends. Better get on her calendar before she fills up!”
9. Rachel S.
“Rachel was fantastic with my two dogs. I'm fairly picky about who watches my dogs, as most discerning pet owners probably are, and was immediately comfortable with leaving them in her care. She was very responsive, showed up on time, and could tell she actually liked dogs, which is kind of a prerequisite. Will certainly be using her services again!”
10. Micaiah A.
“Mica is an absolute lifesaver! She took incredible care of our cat, Boba, while we were on vacation and provided photos and video updates. She even managed to schedule a vet visit with our primary vet when Boba caught a cold, ensuring he got the proper care and medicine. We came home to a happy and healthy cat, thanks to Micaiah's loving care and attention. Boba can be quite timid, but he warmed up to Mica and even cuddled up on her lap. I couldn't have found anyone better to take care of our baby while we were away!”
11. Brendon R.
“Brendon and Adriana were wonderful. I've had mixed results on Rover. This was the best experience I've had. They spent time meeting my dog with me prior to the booking. They followed the directions we discussed very well. They sent pictures to me multiple times per day. They even rolled with an issue with my house alarm like it was nothing and it wasn't even their fault. They're just very easy-going nice people that truly care about animals. My dog has very sensitive skin and when Adriana notice some hot spots, she texted me right away and asked what to do. She was worried about my dog like it was her dog. What more could you ask for? I'm so glad I found them. I hope to use them more in the future. THANK YOU!”
12. Brenna S.
“Brenna is amazing! Very communicative and great with my pup Cooper! She does a great job at sending regular updates and pictures when she watches him. Highly recommend!!”
13. Karla N.
“Karla is so kind and patient! She made me feel super comfortable with Bentley being a little reactive with other doggy friends which provided me extra reassurance. She was friendly and worked with Bentley throughout the stay. She also was super accommodating for a last minute request I had due to flight delays. Absolutely, would use her services again.”
14. Evelyn B.
“Evelyn was very thorough, kind and considerate. My dog had recently had a procedure on his paw and was in a cone and so my main concern was to make sure he behaved and didn't hurt himself. Evelyn did a great job keeping him calm, happy and safe.”
15. Samantha L.
“Sam did a great job house sitting our 2 dogs and cats while we were away! She was super communicative and kept our pups very happy. I would definitely recommend her!”
16. Samantha G.
“Samantha has been amazing help with my cat Lunar when I’m out of town. He feels so comfortable with her. Feeds and cuddles him as if she was her second momma. Thank you Sammie! I will forever ask you to take care of my fur baby when I’m not in town 🥰”
17. Rachel A.
“Rachel did a great job with my three cats and 17 year old dog. She handled oral meds, potty pads and needy cats! I’ll definitely be rebooking her in the future!”
18. Kristin D.
“Kristin was amazing! She took such great care of my 3 pups. She kept me posted constantly and sent me lots of pictures of my girls. She was available last minute over the Memorial Day weekend and is a lifesaver! Will definitely request her again next time I’m going away on vacation!”
19. Melissa P.
“This was our first time leaving our Weimaraner Freya with someone who wasn’t immediate family. She was a little bit anxious and Melissa was amazing at adapting the schedule to make sure that Freya felt the most comfortable. She sent updates and pictures which made us feel more at ease. We definitely will want to use Melissa again in the future!”
20. Florence W.
About: I’ve fostered puppies and adult dogs. For 4 years, I have helped my parents take care of their dog (an American Pitbull Terrier). I have cat-sat for my roomate’s cat and my brother’s 2 cats and foster kittens. I truly don’t discriminate- I love all kinds of dogs and cats! I work at a local San Diego hospital and have weekends and some weekdays to dog or cat-sit. I also love walking dogs and have time in the evening to do so. I have experience with crate training dogs (all of the dogs I have fostered have been crate trained as mandated by the shelter). I also am very protecting and attentive to the safety and well-being of all pets. I also volunteer for Second Chance Dog Rescue where we are very vigilant about the safety of our dogs at adoption events!
