About: Back in the Netherlands, I grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved caring for them. My family had a flat-coated retriever, a golden retriever, two cats, a rabbit, and fish, so being around pets has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I have experience helping train dogs and caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going for a walk, playing, feeding, or simply keeping them company. Since moving to San Diego, I really miss having animals around, which is why Rover feels like such a great fit for me. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day. I understand that every pet has their own schedule, so I’m happy to follow your instructions closely, whether that means specific walk times, feeding routines, medication reminders, or extra cuddles and attention. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. In a client’s home, I will follow your instructions carefully and respect your space, your pet’s routine, and any house rules. I’ll make sure doors, gates, leashes, food, water, and any special care instructions are handled responsibly. I know how important trust is when someone cares for your pet, so I will treat your pet with patience, kindness, and attention. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is doing well while you’re away.
