About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was young. I enjoy giving your pet the same attention and comfort they’d get at home. I also take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs. I also love to bond with them and make sure they feel safe, loved and happy while you’re away. I mostly work on my computer so I have all the time I need to be around your pet. They will have me around to play, exercise, company and go on long walks. I have a huge patio that feels like a yard and your dog will be able to sunbath and relax out here under my watch. I can sleep with your pet if that is what they’re used to or they can be crated if you’d prefer that. Am flexible:)

“Once again, Dwayne took great care of my reactive, temperamental mid-sized dog, Jacques, while I was away for a week. He messaged me daily with photos and an update, and alerted me when Jacques had a rough night with some stomach issue. He understood how to handle Jacques' unreliable moods and behavior, gave a twice daily medication, and followed our normal routine for feeding and walks. Jacques was very calm and chill when I returned home. Highly recommend for his ability to handle difficult dogs!”

About: I grew up with puppies and kittens and at one point, my family had two dogs and two cats! I’ve always loved being around animals and caring for them. I’ve also cared for the pets of friends, neighbors, and family members, and I have volunteering experience at a veterinary clinic, which has given me additional exposure to animal care. One of my favorite things is teaching pets new tricks, whether it’s learning to sit, give paw, or roll over. I find it so rewarding to watch them learn and build trust with me! I’m active and love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and keeping them engaged, but I’m equally happy giving senior pets or more relaxed companions the gentle, patient care they need. I’m also comfortable administering medication when needed and adapting to each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs. To me, caring for a pet is about more than just keeping them safe and fed. It’s about making them feel loved, comfortable, and happy while their family is away. I would feel privileged to spend time with your little angels and care for them as if they were my own! I recently graduated with my master’s degree and am taking a break from fulltime corporate work, which gives me more flexibility in my schedule. I currently work as a private tennis coach, so I can plan my classes around spending quality time with your fur babies! I have plenty of time to provide attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day, while making sure your pet’s routine and needs come first. I’m excited to use this time to do something I genuinely love: caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! My approach to pet care is always loving, patient, and attentive. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I want to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I would love to meet you and your fur baby before accepting an assignment to get to know you both and make sure I'm a good fit for your pet's needs. I want the handoff to feel warm and reassuring, so your pet can see that I'm someone you know and trust. The thought of a pet feeling anxious or uncomfortable with a new person in their space breaks my heart, so I want to do everything I can to make the transition as smooth and stress free as possible. I'm also very happy to follow your instructions to a T! You know your baby best, and I respect the routines, boundaries, feeding schedules, medications, walking preferences, and little quirks that make them who they are.
