About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was a child, and I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels for over 11 years. I was the proud owner of a special-needs senior dog who I cared for from the time I was 18 until he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge, so I understand the patience, dedication, and unconditional love our pets deserve. I also regularly dog sit and have experience walking large breeds, handling excited or strong dogs on leash, and staying calm in stressful situations. Safety is always my top priority, whether we’re out for a walk or relaxing at home. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family, making sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, routine, and personalized care. My goal is for both you and your pup to feel completely comfortable and confident while you’re apart. I’m currently in school, so I appreciate the flexibility that pet sitting provides. Outside of occasional Monday and Wednesday mornings, my schedule is very open, and I’m happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. If you’re located in the downtown area, I’m especially available for drop-in visits, walks, feedings, or last-minute check-ins. Caring for animals has been part of my daily routine for over 10 years, so fitting pet care into my schedule comes naturally. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my top priorities. I understand how important consistency is, so I’ll follow your care instructions closely—from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and bedtime routines. I pay close attention to each animal’s body language and behavior and can recognize when something seems off. I have experience caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and medical needs, and I remain calm in stressful situations. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping them safe, loved, entertained, and well cared for while you’re away. Emily was great! She gave updates and pics regularly and made me feel like I could take the time away from home. My dog is a senior and has become a finicky eater…especially when I am gone. Emily had to hand feed him multiple times…she took the time to care for him and I’m sure it wasn’t easy.
Monica was truly wonderful. This was our first time leaving Benji with anyone else since adopting him, and because he is a rescue who can be a little skittish with new people, we were understandably nervous. But the moment Monica walked through the door, her sweet, gentle demeanor immediately put us at ease. Benji clearly felt safe with her too, because he settled down and stopped whining shortly after we left. Monica sent us photos and thoughtful updates throughout the evening without us ever having to ask, and showed so much genuine care for our little guy. We were visiting San Diego, and she came to our Airbnb to watch him, which made everything incredibly easy. We truly cannot recommend her enough, especially for rescues or dogs who need a little extra patience and gentleness. My husband and I only wish she lived in L.A. because we would book her again in a heartbeat!
The absolute best! Leah (Caitlin) took wonderful care of our home and two pups (a very high energy one and a brand new puppy!) while we were away. I love how detail oriented Halle is! She asked great questions beforehand that left me feeling like our kitties were going to be in great hands. I appreciated the consistent updates and how she kept to our kitties' schedule perfectly! One of our cats has a medication she needs every 12 hours and Halle kept us up to date each time she took it. I was so happy to receive many pictures during our trip! I highly recommend this sitter! We will book her again in the future!
