About: Hey, I'm Jack! I grew up on a family farm surrounded by animals, which gave me a lifelong love for pets. My roommates and I currently live with two rescued dogs, so I’m very familiar with the daily care, attention, and patience every pet needs. I’m 27, work from home full-time, and live an active lifestyle in Pacific Beach. We are beyond happy with Jayla! We had major worries going on an extended vacation with our needy senior poodle. Jayla came over for a meet and greet and our dog sat on her lap happily, so we knew she was the right person. She stayed in our home and spent a lot of time home with our doggie - which made her so happy and comfortable with us away. Jayla is delightful, dependable and trustworthy - and I plan to ask her for our next time away from home.
We recently used Gina this past week for a one week stay with our 27lb bernedoodle. In a word – she was wonderful. Gina was very communicative, sending pictures and updates a couple of times per day, and walked our dog two or more times each day. Our dog took an instant liking to Gina – and Gina was very engaged and attentive to her. She also did some extras for us with respect to watering plants due to high temperatures. Gina is a mature and very pleasant young lady who works from home so that she is available and present much of each day; and at the end of her stay, she left our home in as good or better condition than when she started - and left us a very detailed note summarizing noteworthy items during her stay. We will definitely be using Gina in the future!
Maria was absolutely amazing with my dog, Kora! Kora is a Belgian Malinois, so she's extremely energetic, but Maria and her husband did an incredible job keeping up with her and making sure she got plenty of exercise and playtime. They truly went above and beyond to keep her happy and tired out. Maria also sent daily pictures, videos, and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I never had to worry for a second. I highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter!
Roberta was incredible!! She watched my 2 very rambunctious goldens and was so great with them. I loved all of the photos and videos - it was clear they had a blast! Roberta was so thoughtful, and when she left, she put on a soothing YouTube video for the dogs since I was coming back late at night - the babies were nice and cozy when I arrived home. 10/10 recommend!!
Sara watched my three pets (2 cats and 1 dog) for me and did a wonderful job! All the animals were super comfortable with her, even the usually anxious cat quickly warmed up to her. She communicated with me the entire time, sent great photos, and left the house clean. We will definitely be re-booking her next time we travel.
We are so happy we found Annie to watch our dog. He has special needs so it can be a lot of information to take on and it seemed like a breeze for her. She is a good communicator and sent lots of pics of our pup. I would absolutely recommend her to my family and friends and we are excited for her to continue to watch our pup!
Autumn was great at communicating and punctual. She watched my dog for the day and Penny was well-snuggled. My rescue dog deals with anxiety, especially around a new sitter, and Autumn communicated about her not wanting to go to the bathroom due to her anxiousness and what was occurring, which I appreciated. I would hire Autumn to watch Penny again!
This was our very first time using Rover and Tina to find a pup sitter to stay in our home with our golden retriever while we were away for two nights, and we couldn’t have been happier with Tina! I had a wonderful experience with Zachary! Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt updated on how Stewart was doing. As the owner of a senior dog with mobility challenges, it's not easy leaving him in someone else's care, but I felt completely at ease. He was incredibly patient, attentive, and compassionate with Stewart, making sure all of his special needs were taken care of. It was clear that he genuinely cared about his comfort and well-being. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and that gave me so much peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone, especially if you have a senior or special-needs dog who needs a little extra love and attention!
Victoria was amazing! She house sat and watched our dog Podo. Podo is reactive to new people and Victoria did not flinch one bit in terms of taking care of Podo. She provided frequent and detailed updates on their progress and was amazing with her. We would highly recommend her and will book her again for future pet sittings.
Macie was amazing!!! Our 4 pets were extremely well cared for, but in addition, our 7month old puppy dealt with some tummy issues (maybe separation anxiety?), and Macie was communicative, caring, and dealt with a … ahem… messy situation with grace. In addition, she is just very nice and trustworthy. I absolutely recommend her and would ask her to sit for us again.
