“Emily was so amazing with my dogs! She was very communicative throughout the whole stay. She took great care of my dogs and made sure they were walked, fed and loved! I can’t thank her enough!”
About: I have experience caring for a medium-large, high energy dog, so I’m comfortable (and love) caring for active dogs who need regular exercise. I’m also very attentive to keeping dogs on the routine you have with them, so you can count on me to stick to playtime and feeding structures. I will ALWAYS provide frequent photo updates and communication so you always know how your baby is doing. I am a first-year law student, so I will communicate my academic schedule with you to ensure your fur baby gets all the attention they need! I want your trips to be stress-free, so please know that I can crate your dog at night if preferred, and will ensure that your kitty is safe if he/she is indoor.
About: I have had animals in my household since I was born from dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, fish and geckos. I recently had my English bulldog (Bentley) pass after 13 years together. He had many unique needs over his life including requiring additional care over the last few months. I also volunteer with Southern California Bulldog Rescue and have cared for foster dogs as well as pulled dogs from shelter. Animals are family to me and not just a pet. I am currently studying to change careers so I have full availability to assist with the care of your animals. I look forward to working with you. I have a single family home with a fenced front and back yard. There is a doggy door installed if your dog is familiar with them otherwise I can close it if you prefer. When caring for your pet in your home, I will treat your home with respect and ensure it is in the same condition as when I arrived. I also have my real estate license and will ensure everything is locked and secured when I am not at the property.
“Averi was amazing! She was able to stay last minute and really saved me. She was very communicative and I returned home my place like I had left it. Thank you again for all you did with Penny!”

“John was great with Podo! He demonstrated such care and patience with her and gave us frequent updates while we were away and kept our place immaculate! He was able to handle our challenging dog and sent us photos of their walks. We would definitely recommend him to others for walks, house sitting!”

“JayLynne went above and beyond - coming out to meet me and the critters the week before her house sit, taking care of two chickens, in addition to the cat and the dog, and making sure that the cat didn't bring a mouse, he caught in the yard, into the house, and all with a kind and positive attitude. Thank you JayLynne.”

“Johnathan was great. Took good care of Henry and he can be quite a handful at times. Loved getting daily updates and photos. The house was very clean when we got home. The only thing that disappointed us was the strong oder from the dirty liter box upon return. As I mentioned in my notes, Henry likes a clean liter box and it should have been cleaned before he left and our return. Johnathan is very sweet and treated Henry with love and kindness. I would definitely hire him again and absolutely recommend him to others, and have to my friends we vacationed with as they vacation alot and may need a sitter one day for their fur babies. Thank you Johnathan.”

“Sara was a great house sitter for us and our pets. We would be more than happy to have Sara look after our furry family any time. She was very attentive and have us regular updates.”

About: Most days I work from home which gives me lots of time to hang out with my pack. Daily activities are weather dependent and range from hiking trails to backyard ball. I transport the pack in the safety of my truck with an enclosed camper shell. On hot summer days we chill at home and throw a ball in the evening. In the winter it’s all about hitting the trails. Every night we have snuggle time. We are sensitive to dietary needs, homeopathic remedies, and supplements. Things to Note: * I REQUIRE ALL NEW CLIENTS to host a MEET N GREET. About: Hi! My name is Elsy, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I truly believe that pets are family, they fill our hearts with unconditional love and joy. I had my sweet Schnauzer, Tito, for 15 beautiful years. He was my best friend and brought so much happiness to my life. Losing him was hard, but his love inspired me to keep sharing that same care and affection with other pets who deserve to feel safe, happy, and loved. I grew up in a family that always had dogs, so I’ve cared for many breeds German Shepherds, Chihuahuas, Schnauzers, and French Poodles. Each one has their own personality, and I love understanding what makes them special whether they’re playful, shy, curious, or cuddly. I’m bilingual (English & Spanish), kind, patient, and responsible. I will treat your furry friend with the same love and respect I gave to my own. I’m here to help you take care of your pet with heart, trust, and devotion. 🐾💫 Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent attention, walks, and feeding at the times your pet is used to. I plan my day around each pet’s individual needs to ensure they receive reliable, loving, and responsible care. I speak English and Spanish, and I'm available immediately." That sounds like a wonderful and dog-friendly community! Having green areas for walks and an open patio in your apartment is great for your pet's well-being. Is a park near for play time. They'll likely enjoy the outdoor spaces and feel less confined.
“He was very attentive with my 3 legged dog who has arthritis and an injured foot. She’s been on a lot of medications and he kept making sure to update me every time he would go out and feed her. He even took amazing photos from his nice camera! Would highly recommend”

About: Hi! I’m Grey — founder of The Daily Wag, bringing big walk energy and calm, structured care to Bay Ho / La Jolla pups. I’m a lifelong animal lover, rescue foster, and experienced walker who takes pet care seriously (while still keeping it fun). I share my home with two cattle dog rescues (a 9-year-old and a 1-year-old), so I’m very comfortable with high-energy breeds and the importance of structure and consistency. I also regularly foster through Second Chance Rescue in Pacific Beach and have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and sensitivities. Reactive or nervous dog? I truly understand. Because my own dogs are reactive, I’m highly aware of leash safety, environmental triggers, and reading body language. I prioritize calm, structured walks that help your dog feel safe, confident, and balanced. What you can expect from me: 💛 Reliable, on-time care 💛 Clear, consistent communication 💛 TONS of photo + video updates 💛 Respect for your home 💛 Attentive, present handling I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have been dog walking for many years. I’m confident with shy seniors, energetic puppies, and multi-dog households (I grew up with five siblings and 10 pets — chaos truly doesn’t faze me!) I’m active, upbeat, and dependable — the kind of person people lean on and trust. Whether you need regular weekday walks, drop-ins, or help while you’re away, I’d love to meet you and your pup. Let’s set up a meet & greet! 💛 Pet care is a consistent part of my weekly routine, and I structure my days so I can be reliable and fully present for the pets I care for. Most of my walks and visits take place during the weekday in the Bay Ho / La Jolla area, and I intentionally keep my schedule organized so each pet gets the attention and time they deserve. When you book with The Daily Wag, you’re not getting a rushed visit — you’re getting dependable, thoughtful care and clear communication every step of the way. Safety and trust are my top priorities. During walks and visits I use calm, structured leash handling and stay very aware of surroundings, other dogs, and environmental triggers. Because my own dogs are reactive, I’m especially mindful about leash safety and reading dog body language. In clients’ homes, I always respect routines, house rules, and the environment your pet feels most comfortable in. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease while you’re away. The Daily Wag is all about calm leadership, big walk energy, and happy, balanced dogs.
“Dina and Jose are amazing pet sitters. Dina was very communicative and sent great updates and photos daily. She really made me feel confident that everything was under control while we were gone. One of our dogs is usually quite anxious, but he seemed totally comfortable with them and was super relaxed when we got home. The house was clean when we got home. They even washed the sheets and took care of our trash cans so we didn't have to worry about it. I so appreciate them caring for our pets!”

““I had a wonderful experience! My dog warmed up to Esha surprisingly fast, which says a lot. She took great care of Togo and gave him everything he needed while I was away. She sent plenty of photos and kept me updated the whole time, so I always felt at ease. Her communication was excellent. Highly recommend as a dog sitter!””

“Jared was phenomenal. He over communicated, was proactive in confirming our recommended drop in times, and sent nice photo/video dumps at the end of each day which really assured me that my animals were being taken care of.”

“Kendall was phenomenal. He took great care of our two pitties and our bearded dragon and sent tons of wonderful pics. So thankful we found him to stay at our place while we were out of town!”

“Kayla is a great communicator, responsible, and so great with my dogs. It is a great relief to know our pups and our home is in good hands with Kayla. Would definitely book her again!”

Bay Ho pet parents share their Rover experiences
Luis is an awesome sitter! He was willing to come meet the pups before sitting to assess fit and was a great caregiver while he sat for me as a drop-in visit. My dogs loved him! I feel confident I’ve found a great sitter for when I need a drop-in or when I’m traveling. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Luis again and I know my dogs are looking forward to their next visit with Luis. 🐶🐶❤️

Victoria is a wonderful pet caregiver! She stayed at our house to puppysit our chocolate lab Casino. It was our first time ever leaving him, but Tori made it a lot easier! We got updates as requested and we can tell Casino had a great time. Our house was nice and tidy when we returned as well. 10/10!

Jamie was absolutely wonderful with our 3 dogs. Our kiddos took to her right away, and she brought such positive, calm energy into the space. Our youngest is very shy and can be protective of her territory, and Jamie had her asking for pets within seconds of meeting her. She sent lots of great photos and good updates, so I was never left wondering how things were going, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Jamie and will be requesting her again for our next trip!
