“Clint was absolutely awesome with my dog Bjork. From the moment I dropped her off, I could tell she was going to be in great hands. His home is perfect for dogs it’s safe, comfortable, and clearly a place where they can relax and actually enjoy themselves. Bjork honestly looked like she was on vacation. She made new friends, got plenty of playtime, and Clint even took the dogs to the park twice over the weekend, which I really appreciated.He genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. When I picked her up she was happy and calm. You can tell she felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. Clint also sent plenty of videos and pictures, which made a huge difference and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I can’t recommend him enough he’s seriously one of the best experiences I’ve had on Rover. I’ll definitely be booking with him again.”

Just as awesome: Some sitters will just send ‘proof of life’ shots showing that they are walking the dogs. But Xotchitl sent daily pictures of them in and outside of the house and interacting with them personally. Overall, Xotchitl made us feel at complete ease while on vacation - which doesn’t always happen. Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 10 years old and love them so much. Our current dog, Maggie, was a foster fail whom I love dearly. I have experience fostering dogs and doing basic training. Our dog is very friendly with others. I love to go for long walks with the dogs, play fetch at the various parks nearby and give lots of cuddles at the end of the day. Sean and I work hybrid jobs, where we love to watch/walk dogs on our work from home days. We typically take our dog Maggie out 2-3 times a day for walks that vary from 15-45 minutes at a time. We can adjust to your dog’s schedule needs when we are home. We live in a home in the BayHo neighborhood with a fenced backyard and a dog park within walking distance. We allow our dog Maggie on furniture (the couch) and she sleeps in her dog bed. I am available to adjust based upon the needs of your dog. My dog Maggie is a rescue that we presume is a beagle/ terrier mix. She is very calm and gets along very well with other dogs.

About: I grew up with huge Tibetan mastiffs, chickens, and ducks. I love all animals and have to stop and pet every dog I see walking by, I can’t help myself ! Because of this, I have had many family and friends ask me to care for their pets, as they know I will do a good job but because it makes me so happy! I have 2 cats, Ginger and Sage! I work remotely Mondays and Thursday so am very flexible those days along with weekends! I also am free anytime after 5 pm on the other weekdays. I am very careful with animals and make sure I’m am always staying within their boundaries. I always cater to their needs, my cats eat even before I do!

About: Since I was young I have had my own dogs and cats and watched and walked my neighbors' pets as well. Back in July of 2022 I adopted my Labradoodle, Breck and he is the best boy! I now have the pleasure of basically having full time care of my boyfriend’s adorable Golden, Avery. They get along with all dogs, big and small, so they will make a great playmates for any of your furry friends! I currently work from home M-F. I am free during the day for drop ins and walks! I have pups of my own so I’ll already need to be out and about with them anyways :) I am able to feed and play with pets. Clean litter boxes for cats and walk the pups! About: I grew up on a hobby farm, where my grandmother was the local cat rescuer and my great grandmother ran a dog kennel. I finally counted and got up to 17 dogs before I lost count and am completely serious when I say I have had over 40 cats in my lifetime, sometimes over 20 at once! About: I have had pets in my family since I was born. These pets have included dogs, cats, reptiles and rabbits. I am currently a dog mom to my French Bulldog, Jade. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January of this year. It has been a difficult road but I am now very experienced with medication distribution and special needs. We go on daily stroller walks :) due to her walking imbalance. I also am involved with SoCal Bulldog rescue and attend events as well as volunteer with my family. Animals are family to me, Jade is considered my daughter not just a pet. I currently work remote so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to care for your pet and do not have children. About: I may be new to pet sitting, but l've always had a big heart for animals. I grew up caring for my own dogs and one cat, making sure they were happy, healthy, and loved. I'm patient, gentle, and responsible.. I treat every pet like my own. Whether it's walks, playtime, or snuggles, l'll make sure your furry friend feels safe and cared for while you're away. I currently work as a server and offer pet care during my free time. I’m available on Mondays from 12 PM to 8 PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. I’m reliable, punctual, and committed to giving your pet the attention and care they deserve during each visit. I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. My home has a fully fenced front and backyard, and I also have access to a nearby park for walks and exercise. I provide regular updates, including photos and messages, so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
About: I’ve had a dog in my life since I was 10. My entire family loves dogs and everyone brings them around to family get togethers. I’ve babysat for friends and family multiple times. I’m currently working part time remotely and would love to fill some of my free time taking care of your pet. I go on walks everyday! I will give your pet a lot of attention and treats. About: I love both cats and dogs and I understand each of their personalities distinctly. I grew up with both of my home and I would always pet sit for my neighbors and family friends growing up. I have a ragdoll a British short hair and a French bulldog and I know a lot about how to care for each of them and how to understand their personalities. I love being around animals, even if they are more shy! I work a full-time jobs (7am-7pm) at Scripps however I work three 12 hour shifts a week. Every week is different but I don’t mind house/pet sitting on nights that I work:) I will care for clients pets in their home however they request of me (in terms of how to feed, walk, treat your fur baby) I try to approach every animal with calmness and friendliness. I hope every pet parent knows that even with a more reactive or extremely timid animal, I’m still very open to servicing you :) I am very patient and I’ve grown up with animals of all different personalities and temperament.

His home is perfect for dogs it’s safe, comfortable, and clearly a place where they can relax and actually enjoy themselves. Bjork honestly looked like she was on vacation. She made new friends, got plenty of playtime, and Clint even took the dogs to the park twice over the weekend, which I really appreciated.He genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. When I picked her up she was happy and calm. You can tell she felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. Clint also sent plenty of videos and pictures, which made a huge difference and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I can’t recommend him enough he’s seriously one of the best experiences I’ve had on Rover. I’ll definitely be booking with him again.”

“If I could give Lucas more stars I would give him 1000!!! I had such a hard time figuring out where to board our Golden Retriever Roxy for the month we were to be in Europe. I just didn't feel the right vibe at one of those big boarding places because Roxy is such a people person and has never been at one of those places. Somehow I came across Rover.Com and thank goodness I did! I found Lucas and my husband and I went up to meet him and his wife ahead of time and right off the bat we all "clicked"! He had the perfect set-up, a nice backyard and most of all he takes his pet visitors to the beach and park ever day to socialize with other dogs. I knew Roxy would love that! Also, Lucas frequently sent us pictures with updates on how she was doing. Being that we were in Europe for 33 days I also sent Lucas messages and he would respond right away so there was never a worry on my end. I would highly recommend Lucas to any dog owner and we are definately going to have him watch Roxy again in the future!!”

About: I grew up in a very dog oriented family. All kinds and sizes from German Shepard to small Chihuahua. (Almost everything in between)my family and I treated our dogs as family. I can treat your pooch as such when he/ she comes to visit or vice versa. I love to spend extra attention making a dog feel secure and confident around me and his/her environment to my best ability. My schedule is very flexible which is ideal for pet sitting. I have class online Tuesday and Thursday (remote) I have a lab on Thursday for only 4 hours. I have a banquet job which is only 5 hours later in the evening. I have two very responsible pet loving roommates. One actually referred me to Rover. I have a fenced off secure backyard plenty of room to run around. They have compete access to the house and have two doggie doors where they can go out and go potty. For extra safety I have roommates to make sure everything is going amazing. On top of that I have amazing neighbors readily to help if needed. Everything is safe and secure as always.
