“It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet, but Shauna made the whole experience stress-free. Plus she took so many cute photos of my cat. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive cat sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Lynn is a wonderful drop in sitter for our puppy. She is reliable and always on time for visits. Lime enjoys her play time with Lynn - we don’t know what we would do without her!”

“Sara was wonderful with our 3 cats! She communicated everyday with photos and updates and we came home to both happy cats and full water bowls. She is professional in every way and you can tell she truly loves animals. We would highly recommend her and hope to book with her in the future.”

“Luana was absolutely incredible, and gave me lots of pictures of my kitty during the drop-in visits. This was my first time using Rover to do drop-ins for my cat, and it was such a wonderful experience and gave me the piece of mind that she was being well looked after. I would happily have Luana look after my cat again! ?”

“Julia was prompt, quick to respond, and Bao loved hanging out with her for the afternoon! She was communicative and is great with dogs. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, because they are not “just a pet.” They are family. Whether you need dependable everyday care or someone to step in for a last-minute dinner date, I’m your gal, Val! I have spent much of my life caring for and working with dogs. My mother is a dog groomer by trade, so I grew up in a shop, knew our local shelter techs and vets, and even got to shadow veterinary surgical procedures as early as middle school. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions, using specialized collars and harnesses, reinforcing established training routines, and caring for dogs with very different needs and personalities. I am patient with teething puppies, cautious rescues, high-energy pups who would rather walk me, and sweet senior “old geezers” who need a gentler pace or extra support for conditions like hip dysplasia. I understand that puppies need consistency, supervision, and positive reinforcement, while senior dogs may need medication schedules, mobility accommodations, and a little more patience. I also genuinely love big dogs, including the ones who think they are lap-sized (adorable, but factually incorrect). Most importantly, I treat every dog as an individual. Whether your pup needs an adventure buddy, a calm and reassuring presence, or someone who can confidently manage a detailed routine, I will make sure they feel safe, understood, and thoroughly loved. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your pup lots of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I love having a furry coworker nearby. I can easily accommodate regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, exercise, and plenty of affection. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I follow each pet’s usual feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I provide lots of playtime, affection, enrichment, and outdoor breaks based on their energy level and personality. I am also happy to send regular photos and updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is having a great time.
“Jack took such good care of my Maine Coons. He was super communicative, sent me lots of updates & photos, and made sure they were well set up with extra water when their fountain quit working. I came home to. Some very happy kitties!”

“Julia was so timely, flexible, and communicative before during and after her drop-in visit with our cat, Sadie! Will most certainly be booking again in the future, and recommending to friends + family. Thank you Julia!”

“We were able to use Cara to help with our dogs medications last minute and she was phenomenal to work with ! She was on time, communicative and so sweet to our bud! Thanks Cara!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I rescued both of my dogs while I was in college about 12 years ago. I have a 13-year-old German Shepherd mix, Shepp, who now has a variety of skin and mobility issues, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs, giving medications, and providing a little extra patience and care when needed. I also have Luna, my 9-year-old mixed breed, who is still crazy, energetic, and keeps me on my toes! I’m very comfortable caring for and walking multiple dogs at once, so multi-pet households are no problem at all. Over the years I’ve learned plenty of tricks for giving medications, handling different personalities, and making dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve always loved all kinds of animals. I even had a bearded dragon, and growing up I wanted to be a zoologist. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m returning to school at San Diego Mesa College and have classes Monday through Thursday, with classes starting as early as 8 AM and ending as late as 3 PM. My schedule still gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, especially in the early morning, afternoon, and evening, and on Fridays and weekends. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s normal routine. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I always treat every pet like I would my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions you have. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including senior dogs who may need a little extra patience or assistance. I also live in a very dog-friendly community on the ground level with an enclosed patio, which gives dogs a safe and convenient outdoor space. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and get plenty of attention.
“Jaylynne has been awesome with my slightly high-maintenance beagle. Provides very thorough and timely updates and the house looked great when I got home. Will definitely rebook!”

“Janet did an amazing job taking care of my cat Theo! She is everything you would want in a cat sitter: responsible, communicative, and experienced. Even though my cat can be a little unpredictable, Janet handled everything like a pro and I never once worried about my cat when I was gone. Thanks Janet!”

About: I have never lived life without a dog. I got my first puppy where I went through every single stage of raising and taking care of a dog. I also have further my experience by learning how to provide first aid to dogs and cats. I also have invested in my own pet insurance. Dogs know I love them. I will give you and your pet the best stress free experience. I work part time, so I have plenty of time to check on the babies. In my free time I spend time with my dog and other dogs. I have a great balance in giving the necessities of potty breaks, water, and food. However, I also provide walks, enrichment, and cuddles. I focus on not only making the stay comfortable for you and your dog, but enjoyable.
“Lindsay did such a great job with my two cats! One of them can be a bit reluctant around strangers and she was very patient with him. She was also great at communicating and sending lots of photos. I’d absolutely recommend her!”

About: I have been a dog owner and have been caring for dogs, walks and sleep overs for close to 10 years now… I enjoy their companionship. I’m a single man with no children, I have plenty of time on my hands… my work hours are different every week, chances are I’m available more times than needed. Unfortunately, I cannot care for pets in my home. If I was two dog sit in a client’s home, I would simply follow their instructions.
“Jenna showed up on her own time to get the rundown on our cat care routine. She showed up on time every day as promised and provided cute pics of our kitties daily. We will be booking her again in the future. Thank you Jenna!”

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals! I grew up with a pet filled home. I have experience with elderly animals, sick animals, puppies, kittens, and tons of other animals as well. I love them all the same. I work completely remote in San Diego. I am able to drive to local homes, parks, etc. I have a lot of flexibility for drop in visits, walks, or I can stay and hangout with your pets if I am able to bring my computer :). I have two kitties of my own so I likely cannot bring any more pets back to my own home, but I am open to the idea if you are comfortable with it!

Emily was wonderful! She was reliable, communicative, and very good to our two cats. She sent updates and photos everyday, which were much appreciated. She also followed instructions well - we had no issues with the cats, house, etc. while we were gone. I would definitely recommend Emily to others. Thank you for the peace of mind, Emily!

Rosie did a great job taking care of and walking my two dogs! She loves walking so was very active with them every day. She took them interesting places and thoroughly wore them out. She also did a great job communicating and sending pics. Highly recommend her as a sitter or a regular walker for your dogs.

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for our crew—two cats and an anxious foster dog—while we were out of town for a week. Emma checked in three times a day, every day, and her visit reports were detailed and reassuring. What stood out most was how she handled our foster dog, who struggles with anxiety around new people. Instead of rushing things, she took the time to let her warm up to her at her own pace, and by the end of the week she clearly trusted her. Communication was excellent throughout, and it was such a relief to be away and never have to wonder how things were going. Highly recommend her for anyone with pets who need a little extra patience and attention, especially multi-pet or special-needs households.
Hannah did a great job taking care of my dog! She was very communicative, sent regular updates and photos, and kept me reassured while I was away. I really appreciated how attentive and responsive she was. I would definitely recommend Hannah and would happily have her watch my dog again!
Jen and Muff were absolutely wonderful! Jen was so kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, and Muff was such a sweet pup. Scotty absolutely loved spending time with them, and I felt so comfortable knowing he was in such a loving environment. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely book with Jen and Muff again! 🐾🤍
