About: I have an anxious dog and a feisty cat so I’m not stranger to quirky animals. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a kid and I’m open for drop ins or overnights. I work full time, but I’m available for weekend overnights and can do drop ins through the week. I don’t work mornings so I’m especially available then. I’m trustworthy with animals and great at following instructions for your specific needs! I can play with your pets or let them have their space.

About: Being around dogs since childhood, I'm very sensitive to their needs. As a prior dog owner myself, I've dealt with several situations, in working with dogs during rehab, caring for a dog with special needs and adapting to senior care. I have also taken care of dogs for friends and coworkers. For the time being, my services come as a package deal. Please only book if your dog is for certain comfortable with toddlers. My child has been exposed to different dogs, including larger dogs such as a lab, and he knows to be respectful and give them their space. There will be no tail pulling, taunting or any other form of bullying permitted while we are with your pet, as we are to be gentle with all animals. For shorter drop-ins or walks I can have my child secured in a hiking backpack. Currently, I/we are best available for weekend sits, though weekend or evening walks and check-ins are also available. We are also available for longer stays if your pet is used to you being at work during the week. We'd love the opportunity to get puppy love when when possible. First and foremost, I understand that every pet is different, with unique needs, temperaments and personalities. Some are just fine while their owner is away, while others may display anxious behavior during this time. It is my goal that no matter what they experience, that they be as comfortable as possible. Of course I would be mindful of what your pets are and are not allowed... in my own experience, I was never one to give my dog human treats unless it was a very special occasion, so I can be respectful and understanding of any rules specific to your preference for your dog(s). I am happy to take them outside, drive them to a nearby park if that is something you are comfortable with, I think communication when it comes to your loved one is key.

About: I’ve been a dog & cat dad and been an uncle to many more over the years. I have lived with pets all my life. Most recently, 2 years with a Shih Tzu, Sola, and have cared for her throughout our time together. I have watched over my friend’s pets for weeks on end and enjoy the time we spend together. I love seeing the bond between people and their furry friends! I have helped raised a surprise litter of puppies, trained them, and helped them find good homes! We still keep in contact with their new loving families! I am currently working from home on a part time schedule, so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I can accommodate to most schedules and carry my work with me. Sola has two small homes she uses as her safety zone. A crate is for when she is feeling stressed and a fuzzy home for when she wants privacy. We have an understanding to not cross her boundaries and when she enters those spaces, we give her the privacy she requests. Understanding animals boundaries is important to me, for my safety, their wellbeing, and to maintain trust, especially if I’m a stranger to them.

About: I recently moved to San Diego and have had dogs my entire life, with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I also work professionally with animals, which has given me even more experience understanding their individual needs, behavior, and well-being. As a pre-vet student, I’m passionate about animal health and behavior and love learning more about every pet I care for. In clients’ homes, I follow household rules, secure doors and gates, and maintain a clean, safe environment. I also provide photo updates and GPS tracking when available, so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

About: I’ve owned a female Rottweiler since I was 10 years old and I was responsible for training her, I taught her all the basic tricks and even taught her how to give me a fist pump. She was very tame and loved socializing with other dogs. After I moved out for college, I tended to my older sister’s two dogs, one medium sized and the other extra large. I would play fetch with them every time I visited and did some dog sitting for them as well. My mom recently got a small toy poodle which I love to play with whenever they come to visit. My experience with pet care is very diverse. I work well with all kinds of dogs and understand that they must be respected just as they respect us. Dog care specifically is important as walking or dog-sitting is important for the individual dog’s health. I love dogs! Love the fun that comes with taking care of them. Appreciate the work they put you through to take care of them :) I am currently in a gap between graduating college and getting onboarded for my new full time job and am looking to fill that time as well as get some cash flow. My schedule is primarily during the weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 11 am until 3 pm. My preferred care is dog-walking and the way I ensure safety and trust is by ensuring I can control the dog in order to keep them safe from any danger, ensuring the route I walk them is safe. I also emphasize accommodating the owners wishes when dog walking as they know their dog better and it’ll help not only the dog, but ease the owner and I as well.

About: 👋🏼 Hello! We have used Rover regularly to find care for our pup and kitty, and are excited to open our home to do the same for others. We would be delighted to board or check in on your pup/kitty while you are away. 🏡 We have a bright home with a large, fenced in yard that is turfed which is perfect for play time. 🐶 We have an energetic lab who loves to chase the ball, run, and wrestle. He plays hard with his best buds, but knows when to take a break. Rudder can be very dominant, especially with younger dogs and those not fixed, which is why we require meet and greets! 🐱We also have a cat who’s very curious and loves to spend time with pups that stay with us. Your pup will get lots of play time in with us. **We ask that any pups stay with us must already be exposed to and good with cats. 🦮 We have the most experience caring for and have the perfect environment for Retrievers (We’re a bit biased 😅) but are of course open to caring for other breeds. I work from home 75%, so I am readily available to care for your pup. Morning walks, play breaks in the back yard, and lots of fun in between! Once the day is over, we usually go on a walk and play in the back. ☀️ We’re usually up at 6am. Our pup sleeps with us. We have a kennel for any furbabies who need them. Your pup will have someone with them the majority of the time. We treat any pups visiting us as family and will send lots of photos often so you are assured they are safe❤️
