About: I am an uncle to many cats and dogs over the years. I have lived with pets all my life. Most recently, 2 years with a Shih Tzu, Sola, and have cared for her throughout our time together. I have watched over my friend’s pets for weeks on end and enjoy the time we spend together. I love seeing the bond between people and their furry friends! I have helped raised a surprise litter of puppies, trained them, and helped them find good homes! We still keep in contact with their new loving families! I am currently working from home on a part time schedule, so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I can accommodate to most schedules and carry my work with me. Sola has two small homes she uses as her safety zone. A crate is for when she is feeling stressed and a fuzzy home for when she wants privacy. We have an understanding to not cross her boundaries and when she enters those spaces, we give her the privacy she requests. Understanding animals boundaries is important to me, for my safety, their wellbeing, and to maintain trust, especially if I’m a stranger to them.

About: I have never lived life without a dog. I got my first puppy where I went through every single stage of raising and taking care of a dog. I also have further my experience by learning how to provide first aid to dogs and cats. I also have invested in my own pet insurance. Dogs know I love them. I will give you and your pet the best stress free experience. I work part time, so I have plenty of time to check on the babies. In my free time I spend time with my dog and other dogs. I have a great balance in giving the necessities of potty breaks, water, and food. However, I also provide walks, enrichment, and cuddles. I focus on not only making the stay comfortable for you and your dog, but enjoyable.

About: I’ve been walking and taking care of neighborhood dogs since I was about 10, so I’ve grown up around animals and have always loved working with them. I’ve also spent years riding and training horses, which has given me a lot of experience handling animals with different personalities and energy levels. I have two rescue dogs of my own and also help out with my roommate’s dogs, who are trained in protection and competition work. I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs and genuinely just love being around animals and getting to know their different personalities! I’m currently a student at USD finishing my last year of school, so my class schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week for pet care. I’m available for pet sitting and walking on weekends, Monday and Wednesday mornings until 12 PM and after 6 PM, Tuesdays after 4 PM, Thursdays before 10 AM and after 7 PM, and Fridays after 4 PM. My schedule allows me to easily plan walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting around my classes, and I’m happy to work with both recurring and occasional schedules. I will only be caring for pets in their own homes, where they’re already comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I’m experienced with animals and am happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pet, whether that includes walks, feeding, playtime, medications, or just keeping them company. I know every pet is different, so I’ll make sure they get the care, attention, and exercise they need while you’re away

We have extensive backgrounds in animal training, wildlife welfare, and simply creating a loving environment for all animals. We will provide daily updates and photos; you can rest peacefully knowing your pet is safe and comfortable in our home. We are available 7 days a week to house your pet. If we have to step out of our home for any reason, the dogs under our care will have access to a beautiful spacious outdoor area, as well as indoor safety. If you prefer your dog(s) and our dog to be separated while unsupervised, we can happily accommodate this as well. Along with having a large wrap-around yard to play in, we will also take your pet on several daily walks, and even outdoor adventures if preferred! If your pet is staying in our home, we want not only you, but also you pet to feel safe and comfortable as well! And because of this, we only house one household at a time in our home. We have a sizable fenced in yard, and a friendly dog to keep your pet company. We can crate your dog if requested, we can leave them indoors, outdoors, or with access to both depending on your preference. About: I've been around animals for many years and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and safe. I'm happy to follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications if instructed, go on walks, play with energetic pets, or simply provide companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have very flexible schedule as well so if I’m needed, I can always stop by in addition to the already scheduled times. I try to be around as much as I can. For walks, I usually walk them earlier in the morning before it gets too hot for them.

About: I love spending time with dogs. Fairly new here but have walked & cared for my own dog for about 2 years. Excited to see more dogs out there! I’m currently changing career paths. Taking care of pets helps give me a breath of fresh air. Mostly available mornings and early afternoon. Thank you! I am an active person who enjoys running & swimming. About: I am new to Rover but not new to taking care of pets. I have a 2 year old dog who is my whole world. He is super friendly and LOVES being around other dogs. We go for long walks every day and want your pup to join us! I am the go-to pet sitter for all of my friend's pets so I figured to make it official and sign up for Rover. I have a backyard with grass so it easy to have dogs at my place. I had a cat for 12 years who was diabetic so I know a lot about care for cats and the best ways to give them love. I am available full-time to take care of your pets. I can check in on them or walk them whenever is best for your schedule. I love going for walks and play fetch with doggies. I have a fenced backyard with grass for them to play and can pick them up and drop them off to make it easier on you if you are traveling.

About: Welcome To the Barbells Barkyard, where we have something for everyone! Whether your dog is crazy energetic or laid back and wants to snooooze, we are for you! we play often in the backyard but my 9 yr old also created a little oasis in his room for the dogs who prefer less space. we always make sure their comfort comes first! We have cared for animals our entire lives and have always known wanted to work with animals in some capacity so when we discovered rover, this became the perfect path for both my wife and i! We are both AVID animal lovers and treat each furbaby like family! we are both home full time and will seldomly leave them alone/if at all. We both know CPR and basic first aid for animals. A typical day will include lots of play time both inside and outside, enrichment activities (such as a ball pit, sniff spots, etc), water play time (if they feel so inclined :) ). we also provide treats- all 1 ingredient, healthy options so we do not upset their tummies, lots of bed options, allow them on the couches if you are okay with that, and all the toys they can dream of. we clean and sanitize the entire house daily and we ask for each client to be on flea meds to prevent any unwanted friends :) Our primary goal is to help the people of our community be able to have BOTH great loving top dollar care that you are confident in AND is affordable. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and make sure to send lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay. I offer walks, drop-ins, and in-home care. I follow routines closely and keep owners updated with messages, pictures, and notes throughout the stay. Whether your pet wants snuggles on the couch or adventures outdoors, I’m happy to make their time enjoyable. In my home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable and part of the family. I follow their normal feeding and potty routines, provide regular walks/playtime, and make sure they have safe spaces to rest. I offer lots of supervision and affection, and I send photo updates throughout the day. Pets are treated with patience and respect, and their comfort always comes first. I’m happy to accommodate crates, specific schedules, and any special needs so they feel at home.

About: I have had very large dog breeds. My first dog was a Great Dane and my most recent dog is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. My mom rescued 6 small breeds. I also used to help at a farm who had farm dogs, chickens, horses, and other animals. I have currently helped watch German Shepards, pitbulls, Terriers, golden retrievers, bullies, and various other dog breeds. My grandmother used to be a vet so I am pretty knowledgeable on dogs and she is a phone call away if I notice anything wrong. I am away originally from Napa Valley and moved away for my job, so I definitely miss my dogs but love caring for others dogs. My experience is endless! I I have the flexibility to take pets on multiple potty breaks and for walks during my shift. I am adaptable and can work around your dog’s needs/ schedule I live in a residential home right by fashion valley and has a bunch of space for your pup to roam! I also have a fenced yard for potty breaks and a walkable park!

About: My name is Nicole and I love all kinds of animals! I have over 10 years of experience in pet-sitting. I’ve raised and cared for three siamese cats over the past 17 years so if you’re looking for a cat sitter, I’m your girl! I have experience with all ages from tiny kittens to senior cats, special needs cats, and can administer oral medication (pills or liquid). I have watched 50+ cats and consider myself an expert in cat care. I’ve never been able to have a dog of my own, so I’d love to be able to spend some time with yours! Walking is my favorite part of dog sitting; I love how happy it makes them! I have experience with all types of dogs, from 6 month old puppies to seniors and from tiny terriers to big pitbulls. I have tons of experience with older dogs who are blind and/or deaf and can give medicines in food or pill pockets. I work part time as a private tutor in the afternoons so I have plenty of time before 3 and in the evenings for pet visits The pet’s safety always comes first. Cats almost always stay inside (exceptions for outdoor cat clients) and dogs are only let out on a leash or in a fenced backyard.
