About: I have experience with all kinds of animals! I grew up with a pet filled home. I have experience with elderly animals, sick animals, puppies, kittens, and tons of other animals as well. I love them all the same. I work completely remote in San Diego. I am able to drive to local homes, parks, etc. I have a lot of flexibility for drop in visits, walks, or I can stay and hangout with your pets if I am able to bring my computer :). I have two kitties of my own so I likely cannot bring any more pets back to my own home, but I am open to the idea if you are comfortable with it!

About: My entire life I have loved all kinds of animals, and my family has had a dog since I was 6 and Guinea pigs before that! I've always been pretty active, so my favorite thing to do with my dog was walking her to the park! Two years ago I co-parented a golden retriever foster dog with my boyfriend, and it was a big responsibility but a year I will cherish forever. It taught me a lot about training dogs and patience, making me very confident in my ability to take care of any dog or other animal! It's summertime and I don't have much going on, so I have lots of time to board your pets for however long you need with lots of attention! I go on runs every morning so if your dog is high energy I can take them on those, as well as to the park/on another walk later in the day! If your pet is not as active as I am, they're welcome to lounge all day in our spacious house with all-day access to our fenced in backyard. I have a fenced backyard and back door they can go in and out of whenever they need! I have been boarding many dogs lately so your dog is likely to not be alone, but we can totally arrange for them to be here alone if they aren't the social type. I am able to cater to any kind of medicine, crating, or other needs you need. I'm extremely flexible and can do whatever you need me to do to make sure your pet is taken great care of! I am a recent grad of Cal Poly, and currently have a very open schedule to give your pup my full attention and be flexible with drop off and pick up times! I have a fenced backyard and plenty of indoor room too for your pup to roam. I am very active myself and can take your pup on as many walks or trips to the park as they would want! I can crate them and do absolutely anything else you or your fur baby would like to give them the best and most comfortable stay possible :)
“Very grateful to have found Catherine. She did an excellent job walking my 2 dogs who have different needs. Highly recommended in all ways - communication, trustworthiness, reliability, etc.”

About: Walking dogs isn’t a job it’s a blessing. I have two friendly dogs and a rabbit that would love another friend. All pets are 3 years old and super friendly with animals and kids. I’m a student full time with a lot of free time. My schedule is pretty open 7 days a week. If I’m not available my roommate who also does Rover with me is available. I always have a good situational awareness indoors and outdoors. Any pet I’m with I’ll always have by my side to play with and to train.
“Julie is awesome! She walked our dog 3x daily while we were out of town and we came home to a tired and happy pup. We met in advance and as a first-time rover user, I was really happy with how thorough she was, easy to work with and how she understood how to work together. She’s communicative and clearly cares about animals - I look forward to working with her again!”

About: I have never lived life without a dog. I got my first puppy where I went through every single stage of raising and taking care of a dog. I also have further my experience by learning how to provide first aid to dogs and cats. I also have invested in my own pet insurance. Dogs know I love them. I will give you and your pet the best stress free experience. I work part time, so I have plenty of time to check on the babies. In my free time I spend time with my dog and other dogs. I have a great balance in giving the necessities of potty breaks, water, and food. However, I also provide walks, enrichment, and cuddles. I focus on not only making the stay comfortable for you and your dog, but enjoyable.
About: Hi! I’m Sohlaire, a reliable and attentive dog walker and pet sitter who genuinely cares about the well-being, safety, and happiness of every animal I work with. I have experience with a wide range of dogs—from easygoing companions to strong, high-energy dogs that require more control, structure, and patience. I’m confident handling dogs that pull, get distracted, or need a calm, steady presence during walks. I also have a special understanding of French Bulldogs and other brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds. I’m very mindful of their breathing, overheating, and need for slower, more controlled walks—especially in warmer weather. I make sure they stay safe, comfortable, and never overexerted. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention to behavior, surroundings, and individual needs, and I make sure each walk or visit is tailored to your dog’s personality and energy level. I also have experience with: • Administering medications • Caring for multiple dogs at once • Providing calm, consistent care for older dogs I’m dependable, communicative, and respectful of your home. You can expect updates, photos, and peace of mind while your pet is in my care. I’m currently accepting a limited number of consistent weekly clients, as well as pet sitting bookings. If you’re looking for someone responsible, grounded, and genuinely tuned in to your pet’s needs—I’d love to connect. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I am currently a full time pet care and dog walker which provides me the ability to give all my love & attention into caring for our furry best friends. *Please note i do NOT bring my pup with me unless there is prior approval and preferred meet and greet between our pets. In your home I treat your babies as you would, follow their structure and routines so they continue to have their stability and safety. I also treat your home with respect as my own, keeping it clean and organized so you return to it just as you left!
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already structure my schedule around school and part-time work, which makes me reliable and consistent with time management. I am available for early morning walks which works well before I start my day with classes and responsibilities for my teaching credential program. I also have consistent availability for afternoon and evening walks, once my schoolwork and part-time job shifts are completed. Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and structured commitments, I’m very dependable with routines, feeding schedules, and walk times. I prioritize communication and make sure pets get consistent care, attention, and exercise during the times I commit to. I primarily offer pet sitting and dog walking services, and I do not provide pet care in my own home. All care is provided in the client’s home or during scheduled walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, routine, and maintaining the pet’s normal environment to help reduce stress while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secured before and after walks, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior to ensure they are comfortable and safe at all times. I also keep the home clean and respected, leaving everything as I found it. Trust and communication are very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos so owners always know how their pet is doing.
“Lynn is a great dog walker and caregiver! She walks my boys on a regular basis and kept them at her house for a few days. The boys love Lynn and I trust her to take great care of them. Would recommend her to all dog lovers!”

About: There isn’t a day in my almost 24 years of life that I haven’t been around a dog. I grew up with dogs in my family, and have extensive experience caring for them. I have cared for puppies, elderly dogs, and dogs of all sizes. I also have experience caring for multiple dogs at the same time for long periods of time. I am responsible, will always give them proper food and medication at the proper time, willing to do any exercise necessary with them, and want to go above and beyond to make them feel loved and special when their owner is away. I love animals more than people, and nothing in life brings me greater joy than caring for them. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule. I don’t work the same times each week, so I’m willing to work with whatever times you need care for your pet. The calendar won’t let me specify what times I’m available each day, so if you would like a service, please let me know what days and I’ll let you know what times I am available. I have two dogs of my own, but I sadly don’t always get to be with them. One of them lives in Orange County full-time, and the other one is with me in San Diego about 50 percent of the time. I want to fill the dog-shaped hole in my heart when she isn’t with me, caring and loving your fur-baby. I live in an apartment complex with lots of security. I keep items like grapes, raisins, gum, and other things toxic to dogs out of my home, or in a spot where a dog couldn’t get into them. At the apartment, I take my dog out to potty on a leash in the grass areas right by my building. If I am caring for a pet at your home, I will follow any and all safety precautions you may have, and protect your pet like it’s my own. Safety of your pet is the most important thing to me.
“Emily was fantastic with our two pups - including one sweet but large and leash-reactive rescue dog! She went above and beyond in making sure that our dogs got to work out some of their mental and physical energy (even on days with heavy rain), and it was obvious to us when we got home that the two pups were much more happy and calm than they would have been otherwise. Will definitely be reaching out to Emily the next time we need help!”

“For anyone who feels that their dog is less a pet and more a family member, Liz is the right fit for you. She treats our Lulu like she is a member of her own pack. She is reliable, thoughtful, trustworthy, and very loving. Our dog gets so excited to see her. We’ve been extremely happy with her dog walking services and would highly recommend her.”

About: What sets me apart is the level of love, attention, and calm energy I give every dog in my care. I genuinely connect with animals and treat them like family, not just a booking. I’m very patient, intuitive, and attentive to each dog’s personality and needs — whether they’re playful, anxious, shy, energetic, or older and needing a gentler pace. I also understand how important communication and trust are for pet parents, so I make sure owners feel comfortable and updated while they’re away. I’m especially good with small dogs, seniors, and pets that need extra comfort, consistency, or reassurance. My goal is always to create a safe, peaceful, loving environment where dogs feel happy and cared for. I'm working part time, so Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, walks, playtime, cuddles, and consistent care throughout the day. I’m very mindful about keeping pets on their normal routines so they feel comfortable, relaxed, and secure while their owners are away. I provide a calm, loving environment where pets can feel comfortable, safe, and part of the family. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised play and fresh air, and when I’m home, I keep the back door open so dogs can freely go in and out as they please. I love letting pets relax naturally and feel at ease instead of confined or stressed. I’m also a musician, so don’t be surprised if your pup gets serenaded with a little singing and extra affection while they’re here! Music and calm energy can be incredibly soothing for animals, and I truly enjoy creating a peaceful, comforting atmosphere for them. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level, whether that means playtime, walks, cuddles, quiet time, or extra reassurance. In a client’s home, I make sure pets stay on their normal routine and feel secure in their familiar space while keeping owners updated and giving their pets lots of love and attention.
“Sunny was eagerly greeted by my sometimes slow to warm pup and he willingly left with her. Sunny has a calm but assertive vibe and that is perfect for my pup or any pup. Asked questions about my preferences and very flexible. Thank you!!”

“Alexis is awesome! I’ve rebooked her twice already I can totally tell that Céline has a great time with her whenever she comes for her walks. Alexis was attentive to Céline’s needs like giving her chicken treats instead of milk bone treats. Very pleased with her service and would def recommend her!”
About: Hi there! I’m a mom of two wonderful kids, ages 8 and 11. We have two chickens and recently adopted two cats. Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by just about every type of animal imaginable, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. If you’re looking for overnight care, your pet will need to be comfortable around children, as my kids are very involved in our family life and love animals. My 8-year-old is especially passionate about animals and quickly becomes best friends with any dog who stays with us! I know that isn’t the right fit for every pet, so I like to be upfront about our home environment. I currently work part-time both in and out of the home, and the longest I am typically gone is about 3 hours. My schedule is flexible, and I spend most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and care. We live in a house with a large fenced yard, grass to play on, a built-in doggy door that can be locked if needed, and secure fencing ranging from 4–6 feet high with a double gate. We also live near a canyon trailhead and enjoy regular walks throughout the week. Our pets are family, and any pet staying with us will be treated the same way. They’ll receive lots of love, attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. Having dogs around has been such a wonderful addition to our family, and we truly enjoy welcoming them into our home. We look forward to meeting you and your pet! 🐾❤️ We have had a variety of animals over the years, and growing up on a farm, caring for animals has always been a part of my daily life. From feeding and cleaning up after them to making sure they feel safe and loved, animal care comes naturally to me. Having a dog in our family has been a wonderful addition, and I enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds and personalities. Any dog we watch is welcome to sleep and relax wherever they feel most comfortable. We’ve cared for dogs with all different preferences—some prefer their crate, some sleep next to my bed, and others have happily curled up on my kids’ beds. We always make sure fresh water is available and carefully follow any feeding or dietary instructions provided. Daily walks are included at a minimum, and we adjust playtime and activity levels to match each dog’s personality and needs. Our goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away.
“Let me just start by saying I reviewed and researched for the perfect dog walker for 4 days before finding McKenna. I have two one-year-old rescue puppies. One of my dogs is a leash puller & a jumper and the other is afraid of walking past kids on the sidewalk. So I needed someone that could handle their quirks. I am a first-time Rover app user and was nervous to leave my dogs to be walked by someone else for the first time. But McKenna was amazing! Despite my two dogs not being cooperative at first with a new dog walker. She was so kind, patient, and great with communication. My dogs were happy and tired when we came home. She is fantastic. Highly recommend her if you’re nervous to leave your dogs or need someone who can handle strong dogs. Will use her services again!”

Bay Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mackenzie took amazing care of our sweet Abby! She was professional and responsive. Prior to the weekend, she came over to meet our pup. She also offered to feed her in addition to the walks. Thank you Mackenzie for allowing us to enjoy our time away knowing Abby was in good hands!

Ashley is the first dog walker I have ever used and it has been such an amazing experience. She is extremely reliable and I never have to worry about my dog when he’s with her. She provides me with updates when I’m at work so I know he’s in good hands. I really appreciate her services!

Tina has been an excellent walker for my older dog, Charlotte. I am chronically ill and housebound right now. I have my dog walked 3x a day. Sometimes walkers can’t cover their walks or cancel last minute. Tina has subbed in for almost all of the walks I’ve offered her outright. She has shown up for every last minute walk for which I needed coverage. My dog is a special needs dog, and Tina has been very good at following my requests on how my dog’s walk needs to be limited or otherwise. I would definitely recommend her!

Madison did a great job with our dogs! She was punctual with her arrival and communicative throughout the walking service we booked. Most importantly, our dogs felt very relaxed and comfortable with her, and enjoyed their outing. We would definitely recommend her!
