About: I have experience with all kinds of animals! I grew up with a pet filled home. I have experience with elderly animals, sick animals, puppies, kittens, and tons of other animals as well. I love them all the same. I work completely remote in San Diego. I am able to drive to local homes, parks, etc. I have a lot of flexibility for drop in visits, walks, or I can stay and hangout with your pets if I am able to bring my computer :). I have two kitties of my own so I likely cannot bring any more pets back to my own home, but I am open to the idea if you are comfortable with it!

About: My entire life I have loved all kinds of animals, and my family has had a dog since I was 6 and Guinea pigs before that! I've always been pretty active, so my favorite thing to do with my dog was walking her to the park! Two years ago I co-parented a golden retriever foster dog with my boyfriend, and it was a big responsibility but a year I will cherish forever. It taught me a lot about training dogs and patience, making me very confident in my ability to take care of any dog or other animal! It's summertime and I don't have much going on, so I have lots of time to board your pets for however long you need with lots of attention! I go on runs every morning so if your dog is high energy I can take them on those, as well as to the park/on another walk later in the day! If your pet is not as active as I am, they're welcome to lounge all day in our spacious house with all-day access to our fenced in backyard. I have a fenced backyard and back door they can go in and out of whenever they need! I have been boarding many dogs lately so your dog is likely to not be alone, but we can totally arrange for them to be here alone if they aren't the social type. I am able to cater to any kind of medicine, crating, or other needs you need. I'm extremely flexible and can do whatever you need me to do to make sure your pet is taken great care of! I am a recent grad of Cal Poly, and currently have a very open schedule to give your pup my full attention and be flexible with drop off and pick up times! I have a fenced backyard and plenty of indoor room too for your pup to roam. I am very active myself and can take your pup on as many walks or trips to the park as they would want! I can crate them and do absolutely anything else you or your fur baby would like to give them the best and most comfortable stay possible :)

About: Walking dogs isn’t a job it’s a blessing. I have two friendly dogs and a rabbit that would love another friend. All pets are 3 years old and super friendly with animals and kids. I’m a student full time with a lot of free time. My schedule is pretty open 7 days a week. If I’m not available my roommate who also does Rover with me is available. I always have a good situational awareness indoors and outdoors. Any pet I’m with I’ll always have by my side to play with and to train.

I primarily offer pet sitting and dog walking services, and I do not provide pet care in my own home. All care is provided in the client’s home or during scheduled walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, routine, and maintaining the pet’s normal environment to help reduce stress while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secured before and after walks, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior to ensure they are comfortable and safe at all times. I also keep the home clean and respected, leaving everything as I found it. Trust and communication are very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos so owners always know how their pet is doing.

About: There isn’t a day in my almost 24 years of life that I haven’t been around a dog. I grew up with dogs in my family, and have extensive experience caring for them. I have cared for puppies, elderly dogs, and dogs of all sizes. I also have experience caring for multiple dogs at the same time for long periods of time. I am responsible, will always give them proper food and medication at the proper time, willing to do any exercise necessary with them, and want to go above and beyond to make them feel loved and special when their owner is away. I love animals more than people, and nothing in life brings me greater joy than caring for them. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule. I don’t work the same times each week, so I’m willing to work with whatever times you need care for your pet. The calendar won’t let me specify what times I’m available each day, so if you would like a service, please let me know what days and I’ll let you know what times I am available. I have two dogs of my own, but I sadly don’t always get to be with them. One of them lives in Orange County full-time, and the other one is with me in San Diego about 50 percent of the time. I want to fill the dog-shaped hole in my heart when she isn’t with me, caring and loving your fur-baby. I live in an apartment complex with lots of security. I keep items like grapes, raisins, gum, and other things toxic to dogs out of my home, or in a spot where a dog couldn’t get into them. At the apartment, I take my dog out to potty on a leash in the grass areas right by my building. If I am caring for a pet at your home, I will follow any and all safety precautions you may have, and protect your pet like it’s my own. Safety of your pet is the most important thing to me.

About: Hi there! I’m a mom of two wonderful kids, ages 8 and 11. We have two chickens and recently adopted two cats. Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by just about every type of animal imaginable, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. If you’re looking for overnight care, your pet will need to be comfortable around children, as my kids are very involved in our family life and love animals. My 8-year-old is especially passionate about animals and quickly becomes best friends with any dog who stays with us! I know that isn’t the right fit for every pet, so I like to be upfront about our home environment. I currently work part-time both in and out of the home, and the longest I am typically gone is about 3 hours. My schedule is flexible, and I spend most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and care. We live in a house with a large fenced yard, grass to play on, a built-in doggy door that can be locked if needed, and secure fencing ranging from 4–6 feet high with a double gate. We also live near a canyon trailhead and enjoy regular walks throughout the week. Our pets are family, and any pet staying with us will be treated the same way. They’ll receive lots of love, attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. Having dogs around has been such a wonderful addition to our family, and we truly enjoy welcoming them into our home. We always make sure fresh water is available and carefully follow any feeding or dietary instructions provided. Daily walks are included at a minimum, and we adjust playtime and activity levels to match each dog’s personality and needs. “Let me just start by saying I reviewed and researched for the perfect dog walker for 4 days before finding McKenna. I have two one-year-old rescue puppies. One of my dogs is a leash puller & a jumper and the other is afraid of walking past kids on the sidewalk. So I needed someone that could handle their quirks. I am a first-time Rover app user and was nervous to leave my dogs to be walked by someone else for the first time. But McKenna was amazing! Despite my two dogs not being cooperative at first with a new dog walker. She was so kind, patient, and great with communication. My dogs were happy and tired when we came home. She is fantastic. Highly recommend her if you’re nervous to leave your dogs or need someone who can handle strong dogs. Will use her services again!”
