“Madyson has been amazing with our pup! Our dog loves her and we are so thankful for her. She is great at communicating and flexible when things come up. We’ll continue to book her for daily walks as long as she’s available”

“Thank you so much for walking Max! He often won’t go with anyone but me so that fact that you got him to walk around a whole block is so impressive! I could tell when I got home that he was calm and happy. Will definitely book again!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and have watched my friends dogs many times. I worked at a dog boarding center one summer where I took care of dogs of all sizes and energy levels! I am currently working remotely, so I can spend almost all day at home with your pups if needed! I am free most weekends as well! I love being outside and will gladly walk dogs! I am used to homes with yards as well as apartments that have no yards where the pets need to go for walks to go outside! I am also comfortable with giving dogs medication as well as eye drops.

About: Growing up I had a chocolate lab and three doodles which formed my love for dogs. Dog sitting for neighbors was my very first job and have experience watching dogs for friends and family throughout my life. From high energy trouble makers to chill doodles I have plenty of experience and love for all types of dogs. I work remotely and spend most of my days in my office in my two bedroom apartment. I live alone and typically only leave during weekdays for the gym, grocery shopping and farmers markets as part of my daily routine. I am active and love to go on jogs to the beach to balance out the time I spend in front of screens. On weekends I like to go to coffee shops, golf, and occasionally get out of the city for a nature adventure. Dog sitting fits well into my chill routine. I’ve always wanted a dog of my own, but unfortunately I chose a career in sales after college. For several years I was lucky to have a roommate with a fluffy doodle who I loved and often took care of whenever he wasn’t around, but he has moved out. The frequent travel has held me back from getting my own and dog sitting when I’m home is my solution to getting that dog love missing in my life. I am happy to take care of all different types of dogs. If they are chill and just need love and attention, that works. If they need tons of walking and action, even better. I’ll be sending plenty of pics of your dog and me having a blast doing whatever it is you recommend they like to do. My apartment has hardwood floors, two balconies, is 1224 square feet, and plenty of large windows which dogs love to stare out of. I also have a giant dog bed my roommate left behind that I kept for pet sitting. There are doggie bags included right outside my apartment and the neighborhood (Dylan Point Loma) is very dog friendly. Convenient to take a walk at any time right from the apartment around Point Loma.
About: My experience is primarily from growing up in a household with a variety of different animals, dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, reptiles, and assisting my mother in caring for jumping spiders. At present I work as a dog trainer and enjoy teaching group classes at varying levels of curriculum and experience on the client side and am also certified CPDT-KA. My schedule fluctuates week by week depending on class sales and other aspects of my prior position at the company that I may be requested to fulfill. Generally speaking I am completely free Monday/Thursday/Friday with some daytime availability on Tuesday and Wednesday. I have experience caring for and working with both older and younger dogs as well as anything in between, I am very well organized and cleanly with an eye for detail. I can quickly recognize and address how your dog is feeling both emotionally and physically alongside knowledge of common illnesses and enrichment activities.
“Morgan is always very sweet and attentive to our two pups. One is a senior and the other is a little anxious. Morgan is really patient with both of them and they really enjoy their walks with her!”

About: I offer housesitting with many years of experience with petting and as a Property/Estate manager in Montecito and Santa Barbara now San Diego. I only watch one family of pets at a time. Your pet will be treated as family. We go on hikes, beach days, walks, play outside in the yard and go to parks if these outings are appropriate for your pet. About this sitter: Really love what I do and the animals I care for. I grew up with many animals. My parents bred Doberman Pinchers. I love playing with the dogs, I believe it keeps both myself and the animals I watch happy and healthy to play out doors as much as possible. I also love to cuddle with the animals, they are so sweet. All the animals that come to visit us are treated as part of our family. Why I love dog sitting I grew up on a large property in San Diego with Doberman's, Germain Shepherd/collie mix and my grandfather raised Rottweilers. I just adore dogs and cats. I love to take them to the beach, hiking, and cuddle on the couch.
About: I take care of your babies like my own! I have taken care of dogs for 8 years now. I have trained a 4 month year old gray lab and another 5 month old black lab. I have pet sat a cat for my neighbors and looked after/walked couple other dogs in the neighborhood. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule! So can be any time of the day. You let me know what works for you best and I’ll be thereᵕ̈ I always make sure to spend time getting to know the pet and play around, most of them are anxious and sad that their owner is not there so I try my best to keep them occupied and well taken care of.

About: Having grown up with pets throughout my life, I've developed a natural ability to connect with animals of all temperaments. I'm particularly skilled at recognizing subtle changes in behavior that might indicate stress or health concerns. My experience includes caring for senior pets with special needs, administering medications, and providing the extra patience and gentle care older animals require. I'm also comfortable with high-energy puppies and understand the importance of consistent training, boundaries, and positive reinforcement during these formative months. I believe in adapting my approach to each pet's unique personality rather than expecting them to adjust to me. What truly sets me apart is my genuine love for animals combined with my flexible remote work schedule, allowing me to be present and attentive throughout the day. Your pets won't just be checked on—they'll have a dedicated companion ensuring they're happy, healthy, and receiving plenty of affection while you're away. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which means I'm available throughout the day to care for your pets. My work arrangement allows me to provide consistent attention, regular feeding times, and plenty of companionship for your furry family members. I already enjoy taking 1-2 walks daily as part of my routine, and I would love to bring your pets along for these outings. Whether it's midday potty breaks, morning exercise, or evening strolls, I can easily adapt my schedule to maintain your pets' regular routines and ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I provide attentive, loving care and create a safe environment for pets whether in my home or yours. I prioritize following your established routines to minimize stress for your animals. When house sitting, I respect your home while ensuring your pets maintain their comfortable surroundings and familiar schedule. I'm detail-oriented about safety, keeping doors secure, following feeding instructions precisely, and staying alert to any behavioral or health changes. I'll send regular updates with photos so you can see your pets are happy and well-cared for. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable whether we’re out for a walk or they’re staying overnight. Loma Portal dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mackenzie took amazing care of our sweet Abby! She was professional and responsive. Prior to the weekend, she came over to meet our pup. She also offered to feed her in addition to the walks. Thank you Mackenzie for allowing us to enjoy our time away knowing Abby was in good hands!

Bedrana has been walking my dog most days of the week while I’m at work and it has been such a good experience! She is awesome at communication and gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away that my dog is taken care of! She is very flexible with scheduling too and my dog seems well exercised when I get home! Definitely recommend booking with her :)

Gabriel was great with our pup! He is a really good communicator, and I appreciate that he took the time to read our care instructions carefully. I also really appreciate that he was flexible and understanding with a last minute schedule change due to a calendar mistake on my end. Would absolutely recommend him.
