Araceli is the best, her manner with pups and her joyfulness with being a sitter is what makes me effortlessly comfortable to leave my Willow with her. Willow loves her “Tia” and she’ll be back!”

“Victoria took great care of Rocky while we were traveling overseas. We got lots of updates and had peace of mind knowing that he was in good hands. Winnie and Leo were great companions and Rocky had fun playing with them.”

Knowing Fluffy was in such loving, patient, and trustworthy hands gave us so much peace of mind. Xochitl treated him like family, making sure he was comfortable, happy, and well cared for every day. Fluffy also had so much fun playing with the other puppies, which made his stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate the love and attention she gave him and highly recommend Xochitl to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter!”

“Minhee and Minwoo are absolutely incredible! They watched my dog, Benny, and truly went above and beyond in every way. It was so clear that they treated him like one of their own. He even got special treats and so much individual attention. The best part of the experience was the communication; I received so many updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Benny was actually sad to leave them when I picked him up, which speaks volumes about the care they provide. I was beyond impressed and will definitely be booking with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Ben was fantastic! Easy to communicate with and super attentive with our dogs needs. He sent us fun pictures throughout the day/night to keep us updated. Definitely recommend leaving your pet with Ben and his wife!”

“Natasha was incredibly attentive to our 8 month old pup and communicated regular updates! I appreciated that she asked how frequently we wanted updates to help set expectations upfront. She made sure our pup was not just well taken care of but engaged and exercised regularly, plus she kept up with training which was a bonus. We even went through travel delays getting home and she was flexible to accommodate the extra time, it was great knowing our dog was taken care of and didn't add to the stress of travel. We would absolutely use Natasha again.”

About: I've grown up caring for all kinds of cats, from skittish strays to lazy Maine coons. I am calm and soft-spoken, and most importantly, I am fluent in cat language. I know how to interpret everything whiskers-related, from squinting eyes to muffin making. I am also timely, reliable, and responsible, so you can trust that your cat's paws are in good hands. In addition to caring for my own cats, I started my own pet services business as a child. I cared for all the neighborhood pets, including cats, dogs, and even parrots. As an adult, I've continued to care for other cats by volunteering at several cat rescues over the years.

“Tina is awesome! A clear pet (cat) lover and she did so well with my two kitties. It was obvious that she spent extra attention playing with them and taking my pointers into account. Thank you for being you, Tina!”

“Theresa was fantastic. She worked well with my elderly mother. We could not of done it without her. Theresa administered oral liquid medications and a shot to her cat. Thank you for your service!”

“Audrey was amazing! She was so kind to our pup, took great care of him, and was highly communicative with us. You can tell that Audrey loves dogs and it shows in her level of care!”

“Ashley was amazing as always. She takes such good care of my cat when I am away and I know I can always count on her. I feel very at peace knowing my girl is with Ashley.”

“Hello! Audrey was fantastic! My fiancé and I really appreciated the updates and photos she sent, they gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our cat, Anakin, felt comfortable and happy with her. We’re so grateful she took the time to stop by and care for him. Highly recommend her!”

“Rachel is the BEST. I genuinely feel so much less anxiety when I’m traveling because I know I can trust her to take excellent care of *and* love on my boy (he’s a people cat, so play and snuggles are very important to him!). I’ve always had nice sitters, but I’ve noticed a real difference with Rachel. She wrote the sweetest notes and really goes above and beyond with the photos as well, which I appreciate so much 😻 She’s a gem!”

“Virginie was amazing with my two cats! She was so gentle when she met them, you could really tell she’s had a lot of experience with cats. She sent me amazing pictures every visit and she even took care of my plants! I will definitely be asking Virginie to watch my cats again and would recommend her to anyone! Merci Virginie :)”

“Elise took great care of our two kittens, dropping in twice a day while we were on an extended trip abroad. She is a good communicator and provided lots of updates and pictures during her visits. Highly recommend Elise and will book again!”

“We've been lucky to have Laynee hang out with our cat a few times while my husband and I have been traveling for weddings this year and she has always done a great job of playing with him and refilling the food bowls and water bowl and emptying the litter box. She helped us out when our previous sitter bailed last minute which brought so much ease knowing he was okay. Can't recommend enough!”

“Katy is very trustworthy, kind hearted, and responsible. She immediately made me feel comfortable about having her stay in our home and care for our two cats. I would work with her in the future!”

About: There has hardly been a day of my life where I haven’t been surrounded by animals. I have years of experience working with all ages of pets—from potty training new puppies to taking care of senior dogs, I can do it. I work as a freelance graphic designer, so my schedule is flexible enough to go and pick up petsitting gigs like this. Not to mention that I just love animals so I’d find any reason to bail on whatever I’m doing to go see your pet. I can swing by any day of the week to help out! Details are very important to me when it comes to taking care of others’ pets, especially when it’s in their own home. Spare me no instruction or request you might have for me and I will happily oblige!

“My first experience using Rover was with Leia and I can’t say enough good things! Extremely dependable, knowledgeable, punctual, and my cat was so so happy and well cared for. I absolutely plan to use her again in the future. Thanks again Leia!!”

About: I've cared for and loved many different kinds and ages of kittens and cats. My own cat I rescued from a barn and was a indoor/outdoor cat, very independent and quiet. I've also pet sit for older cats that needed medication and extra attention, as well as classic orange kitties that need all the fun loving energy.

“Tiffany has been such a caring and reliable sitter for my Chloe! Since the first time watching Chloe she has showed so much patience and consideration for Chloe’s situation being her first time away from me! I have now rebooked with Tiffany 4 times and she has been so reliable every weekend for me ! I was so nervous about leaving Chloe with a sitter but now I get to go to work knowing she is safe every time ! 10/10 recommend Tiffany to everyone if you’re looking for someone that knows how to communicate and really care for our little fur babies 💕”

“My Chauncey really likes Kelsey. He walks out of her home with a prance in his step. She always texts me, sends me photos of him, her care is amazing. Thank you!”

“Dillon was great and very accommodating! My pup loved him and he came back to me very tired, which is a hard thing to do for my dog. I will definitely use Dillon again for puppy sitting!”

“Leia took such great care of Maple, I could tell she had a good day by how exhausted she was when I picked her up! Leia worked with her on some of the training commands that I've been teaching her and with potty training. She kept me updated throughout the day with texts and photos, which I really appreciated!”

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for and training dogs with a wide range of needs, especially around separation anxiety, reactivity, and foundational obedience. I currently train my own dog, Benny, and have spent significant time working with professional trainers and behavior resources to help him feel calm, confident, and well-behaved in different environments. Through Benny, I’ve developed deep experience with: • Separation anxiety: building gradual independence, calm departures/arrivals, enrichment routines, and positive reinforcement. • Basic obedience: sit, stay, down, recall, leash manners, impulse control, and consistency in commands. • Reactivity and overstimulation: managing leash reactivity, structured walks, threshold training, and reading dog body language to prevent stress and escalation. • Positive reinforcement training: reward-based methods tailored to each dog’s personality and comfort level. I’ve also cared for dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs—through dog walking and pet sitting for over 10 years. I prioritize clear communication, routine, and safety, and I always adapt my approach to each dog’s unique needs. Because I understand how sensitive some dogs can be, I’m especially patient, observant, and proactive. My goal is always to make pets feel secure, understood, and loved while giving owners peace of mind that their dog is in thoughtful, capable hands. I work fully remote with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. I structure my days around my own dog, Benny, which means I’m already used to planning walks, playtime, training, feeding, and calm rest periods into my routine. Benny’s schedule includes morning and evening walks, enrichment activities, training sessions, and plenty of downtime, so I’m comfortable balancing multiple dogs with different needs and energy levels. I’m happy to adapt my schedule to match your pet’s routine, whether that means extra potty breaks, medication, structured exercise, quiet companionship, or specific feeding and training preferences. Because I’m home most of the day, I can provide attentive care, frequent check-ins, and a calm, consistent environment. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining the routine that helps them thrive. I use positive reinforcement only in all interactions with dogs. I believe in building trust, confidence, and good behavior through patience, consistency, and reward-based training rather than punishment. Through training my own dog, Benny, I’ve gained extensive experience working through separation anxiety, basic obedience, and reactivity using gentle, science-backed methods. I also have experience with fostering dogs and have completed safety and handling trainings through the San Diego Humane Society. These experiences have helped me better understand dog body language, stress signals, and how to safely support dogs with different backgrounds, temperaments, and needs. As a pet parent myself, I truly understand how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone new. That’s why I provide frequent updates, photos, and messages during each stay or walk. My goal is not just to care for your pet, but to make sure you feel informed, reassured, and confident that your dog is happy, safe, and loved while in my care.
About: Hi, I’m Rosa — a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom! I have years of experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities, from high-energy huskies to independent Shiba Inus. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable whether we’re out for a walk or they’re staying overnight. I’m attentive, responsible, and love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages, so you always know your furry friend is happy and in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m already used to taking my own dogs on regular walks, so incorporating walks, playtime, and cuddles with other pups fits seamlessly into my schedule. Whether pets are staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. At my home, dogs enjoy a clean, cozy environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and snuggles. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes — so they feel right at home. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and pets with the same respect and attention I give my own. I make sure water bowls are always full, give them lots of love and attention, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands.
About: I only take care of one dog at a time in my own home, so you can be sure your pet gets the same love and attention as my own two. I grew up with dogs and started professional pet sitting 24 years ago. I have a yard and a dog park steps outside my house. There’s almost always someone home during the day, we will go for walks, play at the park and have unlimited access to the yard. Your pets will go back home happy and nice and tired from a day of play and cuddles. I just moved back to San Diego after a year in Spain. I’m currently home full time. If I do need to leave, my best friend lives with me and is almost always available to back me up. I have a backyard and a dog park right outside my door, so your pet will have lots of play time if desired. I live 2 miles from dog beach in case your pet is a water lover. I’m happy to care for your pets in your own home, as long as I have access to WiFi I can work from anywhere!
About: I'm a total dog person! No matter the breed, I'm sure to love and adore every dog I meet. I've been around dogs my entire life and am well-versed in the unique personalities and quirks that come with different breeds. Growing up, friends and family regularly relied on me to care for their pets while they were away, which gave me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In San Diego, I’ve been walking dogs for the last 5 years. Some of the breeds I have extensive experience with include English Bulldogs, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Pugs. I also have an English Bulldog of my own, so I'm very familiar with the special care brachycephalic (smushed-face) breeds require, including their sensitivity to heat and exercise. I currently work from home 4.5 days a week (Tuesday mornings I am in office), so have a fairly flexible schedule when it comes to tending to your pets needs🙂 My English Bulldog is a total couch potato! He's spent a lot of time around other dogs and loves having a companion to hang out and relax with when we host. We live in a spacious two-story, two-bedroom ADU with a private, fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run and play. Our home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Point Loma. Out of respect for our neighbors and to ensure a calm environment for all of our guests, we do not accept dogs with barking habits.
“Ilayda was wonderful, she agreed to care for our pup Daphne at the very last minute after another sitter had to cancel due to a family emergency, so we could go to the zoo safari park. Ilayda was prompt and responsive and sent me pics throughout the day. She was communicative and took Daphne out for a trail walk which she loves. I would definitely book with Ilayda again!”

About: I set myself apart from other sitters by offering a personalized and flexible approach to pet care. With experience in training puppies and caring for seniors, I'm equipped to provide tailored attention to meet the unique needs of each furry friend. My training in animal behavior and body language allows me to detect subtle cues and adjust my care accordingly, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free experience for your pet. Additionally, I am a very responsible and reliable person giving you peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. Whether it's a playful pup or a gentle senior, I'll provide loving care that's tailored just for them. I’m currently a college student and work part time so I have lots of free time and I would love to spend it with animals. I take well care of my pets making sure they are getting enough nutrients and I ensure that their space is always clean for them
About: Hi! I’m a reliable, dog loving sitter with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all kinds, from my family’s Rottweiler to dogs I’ve watched for friends, family, past employers and current employers :). I know every dog is different, so I focus on making them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to build my day around pet care. I also like to stay active, which makes dog walks a natural part of my routine. Whether it’s morning, midday, or evening, I can be available to give your dog the attention and care they need. I usually just follow whatever routine your dog is already used to (feeding times, walks, playtime, all of that) so nothing feels off for them. In your home, I try to keep things as normal and low stress as possible. If they’re with me, they’ll get regular walks, attention, and a calm, clean space to hang out. I’m pretty attentive and good at picking up on what a dog needs, whether that’s more activity or just time to chill.
“Oliver loved hanging out with Danny! You can tell he really loves having dogs around!! He was super accommodating to my schedule and was a great communicator. Oliver was so happy and literally didn’t want to leave his house so it’s safe to say we’d recommend him for sure and are eager to have him watch our dog again.”

About: As a dedicated dog lover with 10 years of experience caring for my own Chihuahua, I understand how important it is to provide your furry friend with the love and attention they deserve. I've also cared for medium-sized dogs and indoor cats for my family and friends before rescuing my pup, giving me hands-on experience with pets of all sizes. This includes overnight stays, dog walks, and daytime dog sitting. I work remotely full time M-F so your dog will be my personal "coworker" during the day—lots of playtime and snuggles between a few zoom calls. I’m available for boarding or day care multiple days in a row. Whether your dog needs a stroll, some TLC, or just a buddy to hang out with, I’m here to make sure they feel right at home. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand the needs and precautions needed for small and medium dogs such as keeping an eye out for animals that may be a danger to them. I ensure a secure, caring environment while you're away. Rest easy knowing your pup is in trusted hands!
About: I have grown up with dogs, but more recently, raised a 13-year-old beagle named Scurvy (he passed away two years ago), so I have all the dog experience needed to care for your baby(ies)💗I want to help others while helping my heart heal as well. Walks, feeding, bathing, allergy issues. I even have a kennel and toys:) I just got my master’s degree (le phew!), so my schedule has freed up significantly. Also, my boyfriend works remotely- the puppers won’t ever be alone. My boyfriend has two friendly cats that are spayed and neutered. Pottie places are in our unfenced backyard, so it is easy to relieve your pet(s).
“Donovan was great! Professional, very friendly, communicative, and easy-going. It was our first time bringing our pup here. She loved running and chasing the other dogs there, and came home exhausted. She is now fast asleep and probably dreaming about her fun day. Would definitely recommend Donovan, and we will be back for more playtime!”

“Hanny was fantastic with Oliver! She watched him for a few hours today and was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommend her, and will definitely reach out again next time we're in SD! Thanks again!”

About: Hi neighbors! I’m located in Point Loma and opening up availability for local dog sitting, drop-in visits, dog walks, and vacation pet care. I’m a mom of two, and my children have been asking for a dog of their own. My kids are obsessed with dogs and walk the neighborhood counting and looking for dogs on our evening walks. Before taking that step, I want to teach them the responsibility and importance of caring for an animal, including consistency, patience, love, and respect for a pet’s routine. I’m dependable, caring, and happy to help with feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and daily photo/text updates. I’ve had dogs since before I can remember of all sizes and breeds. From puppy’s to senior understanding the importance of caring for these as though they are our own. Available in Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Liberty Station, Shelter Island, and nearby areas. Please message me if you’re looking for reliable local pet care or know someone who is! I work fully remote from my home and build my own schedule so I am always onsite with dogs and can feed, walk and play as needed. I currently live in a community of homes which is not near any busy streets. Each circle of homes has speed bumps and is very family & pet friendly with other dogs and plenty of space for dogs to walk and be outdoors.
About: I’ve had my own dog for the past 6 years and regularly watch dogs for friends, sometimes for up to two weeks at a time. I’m very comfortable having dogs in my home and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I live very close to both a dog beach and a park, so unless you prefer otherwise, I’m happy to take your dog along for walks, park trips, and beach time. I also have a large private fenced patio where dogs can safely hang out outside and come in and out throughout the day. My dog is extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. She’s easygoing, doesn’t play rough, and is used to having other dogs around. My goal is for your dog to feel like they’re staying at a second home and have a great time while they’re here. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and your dog won’t be left home alone while staying with me. I already structure my day around walks, playtime, and time outside with my own dog, so having another pup around fits naturally into my routine. I’m also happy to accommodate your dog’s usual feeding, walking, and potty schedule. I live in a private bungalow with no shared walls and a large, fully fenced private patio where the dogs can safely spend time outside throughout the day. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home inside as well. My own dog is very sweet, easygoing, and friendly with other dogs, and she doesn’t play rough. Since I work from home, I’m also around to keep an eye on everyone throughout the day.
“Ashley was great! Sent plenty of pics and a video of her playing with my dog Molly! She was great at communicating cating with me about their walk. I would recommend her and use her again in the future!”

About: Dog dad who spent 11 amazing years with my sweet Pitty, Zuri. I also helped raise four puppies and have many friends whose dogs and cats I consider family. I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. I'll take the time to get to know your fur baby and work with you to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm experienced caring for pets of all ages, including seniors, puppies and kittens, pets with special dietary or medical needs, and those with unique personalities or behavioral challenges, including reactive or aggressive pets. Your pet's happiness and well-being are my top priorities. I know firsthand how much our pets miss us when we're away, and I always wanted Zuri to receive the same love, patience, and attention that I gave her at home and is exactly the kind of care I'll provide for your loved ones. *Heartbreakingly, Zuri passed away over two years ago, so there won't be any other pets with me while I care for yours. Taking on new clients to fill my schedule. Currently have no schedule restrictions besides the beginning of September and the last week of September/week of October. I will treat your loved one as if they were my own by making sure they're always safe and happy. I know what it was like to be away from a pup and understand the stress their under while their person is away and is why it's so important to me that you and they are satisfied with the care I provide.
“Always does a great job with Dexter. She’s so careful to make sure his water is clean and fresh before she leaves. Mady definitely cares about animals and it shows.”

About: I've been around animals my whole life, so I've got a pretty good sense for reading different personalities and picking up on when something's off, whether it's stress or a health issue starting to show. I've taken care of senior pets too, including giving meds and just being patient with them in the way older animals need. On the flip side, I'm just as comfortable with a bouncy puppy who needs consistent training and boundaries along with lots of positive reinforcement. Every pet is different, so I try to meet them where they're at instead of expecting them to fit my routine. And since I work remotely with a flexible schedule, I'm actually around during the day, not just popping in for a quick check. Your pets will have someone paying real attention to them, keeping them happy, healthy, and loved while you're out. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which means I'm available throughout the day to care for your pets. My work arrangement allows me to provide consistent attention, regular feeding times, and plenty of companionship for your furry family members. I already enjoy taking 1-2 walks daily as part of my routine, and I would love to bring your pets along for these outings. Whether it's midday potty breaks, morning exercise, or evening strolls, I can easily adapt my schedule to maintain your pets' regular routines and ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I provide attentive, loving care and create a safe environment for pets whether in my home or yours. I prioritize following your established routines to minimize stress for your animals. When house sitting, I respect your home while ensuring your pets maintain their comfortable surroundings and familiar schedule. I'm detail-oriented about safety, keeping doors secure, following feeding instructions, and staying alert to any behavioral or health changes. I'll send regular updates with photos so you can see your pets are happy and well-cared for. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your home and beloved animals are in responsible, caring hands during your absence

I work from home so I'm able to be attentive and provide frequent play time, walks, and potty breaks for all in-house guests, drop in visits, and walk dates. My lap is readily available for all small dogs and cats during my meetings and desk time. I'm very active and able to provide extended walks for high energy guests. I'm an early riser so extended walks first thing in the day helps to settle active dogs for a relaxed day. I have lots of interactive cat toys to entertain and exercise all in-house cat guests and drop in visits to cats. I go to bed early but will respond as soon as possible when I get up in the morning. Typical 5:00am each day. I treat all guests like family. Exercise, mental stimulation, love, and just a touch of spoiling should be expected from me. I enjoy sharing photos as often as pet parents would like. I am very tidy and will likely sweep your floor and wash your dishes, if you like! I'm experienced in managing routine health issues and am able to identify and treat routine issues that don't require vet attention.
“Juliette is great! She was able to accommodate a last minute request, is communicative, and managed a successful walk with our sometimes stubborn fur babies. We’ll book her again and recommend her services.”

About: I have three years of experience working at a dog boarding/daycare facility where I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I was responsible for feeding, supervising play groups, bathing/brushing, and walking the dogs. In addition, I volunteered at my local humane society for a year where I gained experience in dog enrichment and got to meet lots of sweet adoptable dogs! I just graduated from Cal Poly and have found myself with some free time during the weeks and weekends where I would love to spend time walking/looking after your dogs! I would thoroughly follow the instructions given by the client and ensure the pet is properly taken care of while under my supervision so that they have the best experience possible!

Thank you, Benjamin, for being so wonderful and for accommodating us on such short notice!”

“Mike was great with my dog-reactive Doberman. He’s definitely a dog guy, his family is the same, they loved up on my dog so much. Due to a cancelled flight from weather I had to extend my trip 2 extra days and Mike was able to continue care for Dobby no problem which was a huge weight off my shoulders. Communication was great and overall care was top notch!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. We currently have two rescue beagles and 5 rescued cats. I do not currently work and can be home with your animals unless running short errands, and once someone enters our home they are family and will be treated like the spoiled royalty they are. I'm happy to send updates and pictures throughout their stay as well. I do not currently work, so I have all the time in the world for your furry friend. The animals rule our house and are allowed on all furniture/beds so they will be very comfortable. I do walks in the early morning with my dogs, but could also do day time/evening walks if your pets need. We have a fenced in dog-run with 24/7 access through a 1-flap dog door. They can go in and out as they please, but the fences are only 3ft high in the dog run, so jumpers/runners might not be the best fit. We feed our dogs twice a day and cannot free-feed animals.
