“Tyler & Joseph were wonderful. They took great care of my senior dog who is blind and has diabetes. They gave me daily updates on how things were going. I was able to full enjoy my vacation and put my worries at ease knowing my baby was in good hands.”

“Wendy was so so helpful in so many ways I can’t even recommend her enough! I always know my guy was cared for and she is incredibly reliable, communicative, and attentive to an older dog’s needs! Thank you, Wendy!”

“Joe and Carol are the best dog dog sitters I have found!! They are super flexible and take great care of my dog. He is always so excited when he gets dropped off with them. They are so quick to respond and provide excellent care. I highly recommend them!!”
“Ana is my go-to sitter in San Diego! My dog gets anxious away from home and Ana created a calm and welcoming environment. He’s also a picky eater but takes oral medication everyday. Ana was able to ensure he was taking his meds. It was such a relief having someone so wonderful and attentive watching him while I was away. I also appreciated all the communication—lots of photos and texts describing daily walks and activities and anything that was out of the normal. Can’t recommend Ana enough!”

“The best dog sitter we have had! Our boy even may be a little sad to come home, ha! It’s a game changer to find someone who takes as much care as you would of your pet. Khala had daily plays and walks, numerous times a day, we received lots of awesome pics and videos, and Kacper communicated consistently throughout Khala’s whole stay! Thanks, Kacper!”

“Michaela was awesome! She was super quick to respond and always checked in and sent lots of photos! She followed all our instructions and made us feel like our dog was in a safe place. I would book again for sure! Thanks.”

“Chanel was awesome! She was super accommodating to my busy schedule and met me outside for both drop-off and pick-up. And she sent me great photos of my cat throughout her stay. Looking forward to booking with Chanel again in the future!”

“I am so thankful for the love and amazing care that Kelsey gave to my sweet dog. She clearly loves dogs, and treated him as her own. When I picked up my pup, he was so happy. I could tell he had a fantastic time. This dog mama is so thankful to have found an amazing dog sitter.”

“Jennifer was so great. We had our wedding that weekend and some plans for my dog ended up changing and we needed Jennifer an extra day. She was flexible. She took such great care of my Navi and sent daily pics. She was communicative and very kind. We really appreciated her.”

About: Hi! I'm Courtney, a lifelong dog lover based in Point Loma. For the last 13 years, my world revolved around caring for my Golden Retriever/Rottweiler mix, Bodi. He recently passed away, and while my home is a little quieter these days, I'd love to spend time caring for other people's dogs. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and am able to provide plenty of attention throughout the day. I am the sole caregiver during all bookings, whether your pet is staying in my home, I'm stopping by for a drop-in visit, or taking them on a walk. Having cared for a senior dog, I'm especially comfortable with older dogs, large breeds, slower walks, medication routines, and pups who simply need a little extra patience and companionship. I'm also happy to care for young, energetic, playful dogs who love to explore and have fun. When boarding, I only accept up to two dogs from the same family at a time so I can give them my full attention. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and even in bed if that's what they're used to at home. I have a fully fenced patio, and because I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone for more than a couple of hours. I know firsthand how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I'll always communicate clearly, send plenty of photos and updates, and care for your dog the way I'd want someone to care for mine. Whether your pup wants an adventure, a relaxing walk, or just lots of affection, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care has been part of my daily routine for years. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention they deserve. I enjoy being active and outdoors, and I love giving owners peace of mind with updates and photos while they're away. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I'm caring for them in yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. In my home, I only accept up to two dogs from the same family at a time so I can give them plenty of individual attention. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and even in bed if that's what they're used to at home. I have a fully fenced patio for fresh air and outdoor time, and because I have flexible schedules, pets are rarely left alone for more than a couple of hours. I'll also send regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Araceli is fantastic. My dogs love being with her. She is always so responsive and she let me drop off the dogs two hours earlier than I initially asked for which was really helpful due to travel plans changing.”

“Victoria has a lovely home and took great care of my Palmer! We got photos daily of them having a great time together with family and beautiful walks over Christmas break”

“Mike was great with my dog-reactive Doberman. He’s definitely a dog guy, his family is the same, they loved up on my dog so much. Due to a cancelled flight from weather I had to extend my trip 2 extra days and Mike was able to continue care for Dobby no problem which was a huge weight off my shoulders. Communication was great and overall care was top notch!”

“Michell w was absolutely incredible and made Boogie feel right at home. I received a lot of cool video updates of my little guy and Michelle was juts excellent& super flexible. I will absolutely be booking with Michelle again and you should too!”

“LeeAnn and her husband took such great care of my 2 chihuahuas. She stayed in touch with updates and pictures and I felt 100% comfortable that my dogs were in good hands. I was worried because one of my dogs was rescued from a hoarding case, is extremely afraid of people, and has struggled with other sitters. I was shocked to receive a picture of her sitting on a lap on day one. They are clearly dog people! They were also super flexible with the pickup time when I needed to move it around. I would highly recommend them!”

About: I’ve have always grown up with pets, making me develop an extreme love for animals. I’ve had 2 dogs, and a cat who eventually has 7 kittens when I was 10 years old. Me and my family took care of them for 8 weeks until they could go to new homes! My love for animals has only strengthened, and after my childhood dog had passed, I wanted to take the love I had and still have for him, and share it with others by helping them take care of their pets. I knew the anxiety of trying to find the right person to care for your pet, and I want to ensure that I will give your pet so much love and care as if they were my own. I have a certificate in Cat and Dog First Aid conducted by American Red Cross so do not worry, your pet is in safe hands! I’m also very flexible for all types of energies your pet may have, I’m happy to chill out or run around and play some tug of war! I am currently a part time student at San Diego Mesa College, so I will have more than enough time to care for your dogs and cats! I’m always happy to get out of the house, especially if I get to meet more furry friends! My house is fully enclosed, with a fenced front yard and backyard. Almost all windows have screens, and I currently have one cat who is very independent and will be no trouble for your pet!

“Theresa was fantastic. She worked well with my elderly mother. We could not of done it without her. Theresa administered oral liquid medications and a shot to her cat. Thank you for your service!”

“Audrey was amazing! This was her second time spending time with our cat, Anakin, and we couldn’t be happier. We truly appreciate her care, attention to detail, and the love she shows our furry friend. Highly recommend!”

“Tina took great care of our kitties! She was a great communicator and she sent lots of pictures so we felt at ease while we were away. Our girls were clearly comfortable with her. I also appreciated that she offered a meet and greet beforehand even though I wasn’t able to make the time work”

About: I’ve been around cats for most of my life and truly understand that every cat has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I had my own cat for 20 years, so I have experience caring for cats through every stage of life—from playful younger years to the extra patience and attention senior cats may need. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, playtime, brushing, medications, and of course plenty of affection (when wanted!). I also know some cats need time and space to warm up, and I’m happy to let them set the pace. My goal is to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.
“Ashley was amazing as always. She takes such good care of my cat when I am away and I know I can always count on her. I feel very at peace knowing my girl is with Ashley.”

“Stacy was a great cat sitter! She was very communicative, responded promptly, helped with all of our specific requests, and took great care of our cat! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our cat was in great hands! We highly recommend her!”

“Rachel is an amazing pet sitter! She is so sweet, friendly and professional! She was available last minute to watch our cat at her place and she made it so easy! She came for a meet and greet before which made it definitely more comfortable for us as well. Rachel sent photos and updates throughout the day which was so nice! We will definitely request her again if we need and highly recommend her for your dog or cat!”

“Laynee was able to check in on my kitten on short notice, and also made the effort to stop by in advance to meet kitty and figure out details etc. She sent a bunch of photos and videos and made me feel comfortable that my fur child was in good hands”

“Audrey was amazing!! It was my first time using Rover so wasn't sure what to expect, but Audrey was awesome. She came over so I could explain everything, made me feel so comfortable and provided ample updates, communication and pictures :). Would 10/10 recommend”

“Dillon was wonderful! My cats were comfortable with him and I had no worries while I was away on my trip. Very responsive and respectful of my space. Would book with him again!”

“Andrea was amazing! She was able to watch my cat for an extra day last-minute and went above and beyond helping to do things we needed at the house. Thank you Andrea!!”

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a child, and I truly treat every animal like they're part of the family. What sets me apart is my attention to each pet's unique personality and needs-whether that means slow walks for seniors or playtime for energetic pups. Friends, family, and neighbors have always relied on me to help with their animals and I'm always happy to give all the love to these amazing creatures we are lucky to have in our lives. I'm lucky to make my own schedule and work from home most days, so I have ample availability. Week days and weekends. Most mornings and afternoons in addition to some evenings. I have a house with a fenced yard and one 20lb terrier mix to keep your fur baby company. I can also curate to your needs if that means crating your dog. We are very much dogs on the couch and bed type of house but will follow your rules too.
About: Reliable, experienced and compassionate care for pets. From my earliest memories, animals have been an integral part of my life. Growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, and more ,I quickly developed a deep connection with animals. My journey as a foster mom was one of the most rewarding times in my life. With each new foster dog that came into my life, I witnessed the transformative power of compassion and patience. And then came Hachi, my ninth foster and first foster fail. From the moment she entered my home, I knew she was meant to be a permanent member of our family. She's not just a pet; she is a constant source of love and joy. Alongside Hachi, I share my home with a senior pug, Ling, whose snorts and wiggles never fail to brighten my day. Despite her age, She still full of spunk and personality, a reminder to cherish every moment we have together. Outside of my furry family, I dedicate my days to a career in cardiac research and I am mom to two incredible adult humans . Away from the hustle of everyday life, you'll often find me drawn to the ocean or anythig outside. Dog walks evening and overnights most any night. I’m also available for vet visits or vet pick ups. I’m able to give meds, shots and baths. My dogs are part of the family, they sleep indoors and get better care than most. I love nothing more than spoiling them and seeing them enjoying life.

“My first experience using Rover was with Leia and I can’t say enough good things! Extremely dependable, knowledgeable, punctual, and my cat was so so happy and well cared for. I absolutely plan to use her again in the future. Thanks again Leia!!”

“Christina is great to work with and extremely trustworthy! We will definitely be using her services again for our two cats. She kept us updated the whole time we were gone which really helps relieves any anxiety about being away from your furry family.”

“Jessica took such great care of Remi! She had an amazing day with Jessica’s family and kids and it was clear she was so loved and well cared for. Communication was excellent throughout and I felt completely at ease knowing Remi was in such good hands. I would absolutely book with Jessica again and highly recommend her 🐾🤍”

“I had a great experience with Kelsey! My dog is usually very skittish around new people, but he warmed up to her right away — which says a lot. She was kind, patient, and clearly great with dogs. When I came to pick him up, he was relaxed and happy, which gave me real peace of mind. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

“Best experienece ever. Dillin hosted us at the peak of holiday season. He was quick to respond and his location which is so close to sea world and Zoo made it ideal. He has a decent sized yard and took great care of our 90lbs emglish lab and 6 month old hyper husky. He would keep sending us pics and updates on the dogs and we were so lucky to have found dillon. Yes his prices were higher than the others but totally worth it. You pay for what you get. Highly recommend. Hope you have a similar experience like ours.”

“Oliver loved his time with Taylor and their dog Benny! I picked up a very happy and tired dog at the end of the day. Taylor was also very accommodating to my schedule and was a great communicator. You could tell she really has a soft spot for dogs and wants to do whatever she can to make them comfortable and happy! We can’t wait to use her again!”

“Anne and her family were wonderful right off the bat ! I immediately felt comfortable and safe leaving our new puppy with her ! She was always quick to respond with my questions before and during my puppy’s visit! We will definitely reach out again !”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, dog loving sitter with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all kinds, from my family’s Rottweiler to dogs I’ve watched for friends, family, past employers and current employers :). I know every dog is different, so I focus on making them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to build my day around pet care. I also like to stay active, which makes dog walks a natural part of my routine. Whether it’s morning, midday, or evening, I can be available to give your dog the attention and care they need. I usually just follow whatever routine your dog is already used to (feeding times, walks, playtime, all of that) so nothing feels off for them. In your home, I try to keep things as normal and low stress as possible. If they’re with me, they’ll get regular walks, attention, and a calm, clean space to hang out. I’m pretty attentive and good at picking up on what a dog needs, whether that’s more activity or just time to chill.
“Leia took such great care of Maple, I could tell she had a good day by how exhausted she was when I picked her up! Leia worked with her on some of the training commands that I've been teaching her and with potty training. She kept me updated throughout the day with texts and photos, which I really appreciated!”

About: I'm a total dog person! No matter the breed, I'm sure to love and adore every dog I meet. I've been around dogs my entire life and am well-versed in the unique personalities and quirks that come with different breeds. Growing up, friends and family regularly relied on me to care for their pets while they were away, which gave me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In San Diego, I’ve been walking dogs for the last 5 years. Some of the breeds I have extensive experience with include English Bulldogs, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Pugs. I also have an English Bulldog of my own, so I'm very familiar with the special care brachycephalic (smushed-face) breeds require, including their sensitivity to heat and exercise. I currently work from home 4.5 days a week (Tuesday mornings I am in office), so have a fairly flexible schedule when it comes to tending to your pets needs🙂 My English Bulldog is a total couch potato! He's spent a lot of time around other dogs and loves having a companion to hang out and relax with when we host. We live in a spacious two-story, two-bedroom ADU with a private, fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run and play. Our home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Point Loma. Out of respect for our neighbors and to ensure a calm environment for all of our guests, we do not accept dogs with barking habits.
“Our dogs loved Ilayda! She hosted them for doggy day care while our family went to the zoo for the day. It was so nice having peace of mind that our dogs were safe and well cared for while we made precious family memories. Our young female was in heat and Ilayda handled it professionally and took great care of her. She took the dogs on walks throughout the day and sent photos and videos of them to ease our minds. We would highly recommend Ilayda!”

About: Hi, I’m Rosa — a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom! I have years of experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities, from high-energy huskies to independent Shiba Inus. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable whether we’re out for a walk or they’re staying overnight. I’m attentive, responsible, and love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages, so you always know your furry friend is happy and in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m already used to taking my own dogs on regular walks, so incorporating walks, playtime, and cuddles with other pups fits seamlessly into my schedule. Whether pets are staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. At my home, dogs enjoy a clean, cozy environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and snuggles. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes — so they feel right at home. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and pets with the same respect and attention I give my own. I make sure water bowls are always full, give them lots of love and attention, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands.
“Julia and Jack are amazing, what a team! Their dogs are lovely, playful, and happy go lucky, got along great with my pup! Tons of pictures tons of updates well worth the price! I strongly recommend!”

“I was nervous about leaving my one year old Golden but Ashley was great! After meeting Ashley in person, I felt confident that she was dependable and would come daily (for 11 days!) to walk my sweet dog and give her the love she might be missing while I was away. Thanks so much, Ashley!!!!”

“Always does a great job with Dexter. She’s so careful to make sure his water is clean and fresh before she leaves. Mady definitely cares about animals and it shows.”

“Rachel has been an amazing dog walker and sitter and we’re sad to see her moving away from our area but know future clients will be so lucky to have her. I wish there see more walkers like her. She frequently walked and sat for Lucy and she has been reliable, kind, and communicative. Most of all, my dog adores her. We’re so thankful for all of her care for Lucy.”

About: I have owned 6 cats in the course of my life (and two dogs as a kid). I love all animals! I have been dog walking since I was in elementary school for neighbors’ dogs. I have dog sat, cat sat—even rat sat! I have a lot of experience administering medications for cats. One of my cats was diagnosed with asthma at 6 and lived to be 19 with a daily inhaler! I have two small children and school and work part time so I will be cat sit between the hours of 9 and 3:30 when my kids are at school. I will feed, play with and medicate your cat (if needed)—I will change their litterbox daily. I have little kids so I can’t stay overnight.
About: I’ve had pets for over 20+ years and can’t wait to provide excellent quality care for your furry friends! Over my entire life, I’ve gotten the privilege to take care of dogs, cats, chickens, fish and turtles in my home. I have never known life without a pet and I don’t think I ever will🐶🐱 Just let me know any day or time you need me and I can make myself available. I have a super flexible schedule and can move around anything necessary to help you and your furry friend out:) Currently the house is occupied by a bonded pair of sweet and rambunctious male cats. Both are 6 years old and love to play while chasing each other down the halls. The home is filled plenty of enrichment activities like toys, scratchers and cat trees. They have unlimited access to the entire house and are indoor only kitties.

About: I have grown up with dogs and have watched my friends dogs many times. I worked at a dog boarding center one summer where I took care of dogs of all sizes and energy levels! I am currently working remotely, so I can spend almost all day at home with your pups if needed! I am free most weekends as well! I love being outside and will gladly walk dogs! I am used to homes with yards as well as apartments that have no yards where the pets need to go for walks to go outside! I am also comfortable with giving dogs medication as well as eye drops.
About: I've been around animals my whole life, so I've got a pretty good sense for reading different personalities and picking up on when something's off, whether it's stress or a health issue starting to show. I've taken care of senior pets too, including giving meds and just being patient with them in the way older animals need. On the flip side, I'm just as comfortable with a bouncy puppy who needs consistent training and boundaries along with lots of positive reinforcement. Every pet is different, so I try to meet them where they're at instead of expecting them to fit my routine. And since I work remotely with a flexible schedule, I'm actually around during the day, not just popping in for a quick check. Your pets will have someone paying real attention to them, keeping them happy, healthy, and loved while you're out. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which means I'm available throughout the day to care for your pets. My work arrangement allows me to provide consistent attention, regular feeding times, and plenty of companionship for your furry family members. I already enjoy taking 1-2 walks daily as part of my routine, and I would love to bring your pets along for these outings. Whether it's midday potty breaks, morning exercise, or evening strolls, I can easily adapt my schedule to maintain your pets' regular routines and ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I provide attentive, loving care and create a safe environment for pets whether in my home or yours. I prioritize following your established routines to minimize stress for your animals. When house sitting, I respect your home while ensuring your pets maintain their comfortable surroundings and familiar schedule. I'm detail-oriented about safety, keeping doors secure, following feeding instructions, and staying alert to any behavioral or health changes. I'll send regular updates with photos so you can see your pets are happy and well-cared for. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your home and beloved animals are in responsible, caring hands during your absence
About: I only take care of one dog at a time in my own home, so you can be sure your pet gets the same love and attention as my own two. I grew up with dogs and started professional pet sitting 24 years ago. I have a yard and a dog park steps outside my house. There’s almost always someone home during the day, we will go for walks, play at the park and have unlimited access to the yard. Your pets will go back home happy and nice and tired from a day of play and cuddles. I just moved back to San Diego after a year in Spain. I’m currently home full time. If I do need to leave, my best friend lives with me and is almost always available to back me up. I have a backyard and a dog park right outside my door, so your pet will have lots of play time if desired. I live 2 miles from dog beach in case your pet is a water lover. I’m happy to care for your pets in your own home, as long as I have access to WiFi I can work from anywhere!
About: I'm an animal lover who enjoys caring for and getting to know all types of pets. I love to play and I'm also comfortable with Seniors and administering medication. I love to keep them all safe and happy! I work two late-night shifts at a local cafe and besides that I do Child and Pet Care. This keeps my schedule pretty flexible but I am open to setting up regular times too. I just treat every pet as if they were my own companion. Different animals need different care and I respect and honor that. I look forward to getting to know your little individual!
About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since age 10. I've raised 6 dogs from puppies and 3 cats from kittens. I've also been sitting, walking, doing check-ins, and playdates for friends, family, neighbors, and clients for the past 4 years. I have experience in basic obedience training. I also have experience in senior dog and cat care. I work from home so I'm able to be attentive and provide frequent play time, walks, and potty breaks for all in-house guests, drop in visits, and walk dates. My lap is readily available for all small dogs and cats during my meetings and desk time. I'm very active and able to provide extended walks for high energy guests. I'm an early riser so extended walks first thing in the day helps to settle active dogs for a relaxed day. I have lots of interactive cat toys to entertain and exercise all in-house cat guests and drop in visits to cats. I go to bed early but will respond as soon as possible when I get up in the morning. Typical 5:00am each day. I treat all guests like family. Exercise, mental stimulation, love, and just a touch of spoiling should be expected from me. I enjoy sharing photos as often as pet parents would like. I am very tidy and will likely sweep your floor and wash your dishes, if you like! I'm experienced in managing routine health issues and am able to identify and treat routine issues that don't require vet attention.

About: I’m so excited to hang with your dog! I’m a lover of all animals, but dogs are just so much fun!! I have a dog, his name is Felix. He was my foster dog, but he was so wonderful I couldn’t let him go. I have learned so much about dogs in the almost 5 years I have been fostering pups. They are so resilient and such a pleasure to be around. I enjoy spending most of my time outside being active. I’m a very hands on kind of a person and that would be the case with any dog I am responsible for. I believe that dogs are wonderful and bring much joy into our lives. I treat all dogs with love, care and respect. I look forward to the chance to spend some time with your pup! Doggies are my full time job. I am home the majority of the time. I leave randomly throughout the day to walk dogs. This is why I require your dog to be comfortable in a crate. My house is on the back lot of a property, it is entirely fenced in. Your pup will have supervised access to the backyard throughout the day.

Thanks.”

“Danny was awesome!! Very communicative, sent pics, and took such good care of Goose. He is a true dog lover and I felt so comfortable and safe with Goose in his care.”

“Debbie is a fantastic dog sitter! We booked her very last minute and she was extremely easy to work with. Very communicative and her dog, maverick, is a sweetheart too. Will happily book again.”

“Anna is an awesome sitter, she took care of our dog for 12 days and when we picked him up he was a happy dog. She sent us regular updates and pictures while we were away and kept us informed of how he was doing, this gave us peace of mind on our vacation. We loved the service and will definitely use her in future. Thank you Anna and your family for all the love and care you gave our dog 🙏🙏🙏🙏”

“Nanako & Dustin were wonderful with my 18 year old geriatric dog! I received many updates thru out the day that allowed me to rest easy that he was happy and relaxed in his temporary home. The home was calm for him and he seemed completely at ease there; would not have happened at home with multiple dogs. I am so thankful that Nanako was super flexible as he is an early riser and woke extra early on the morning of Daylight Savings time very early; she handled him so well making sure he got his food and medication when needed with many walks mixed in. Thank you so much, I would definitely book with them again!”

“Natasha was incredibly attentive to our 8 month old pup and communicated regular updates! I appreciated that she asked how frequently we wanted updates to help set expectations upfront. She made sure our pup was not just well taken care of but engaged and exercised regularly, plus she kept up with training which was a bonus. We even went through travel delays getting home and she was flexible to accommodate the extra time, it was great knowing our dog was taken care of and didn't add to the stress of travel. We would absolutely use Natasha again.”

“Ozzy was taken care of very well and he got along great with the pups in the home. Kaitlin and her partner were very friendly and great at communicating and keeping us updated on our boy. Definitely will book again when needed.”
