“Jessica took such great care of Remi! She had an amazing day with Jessica’s family and kids and it was clear she was so loved and well cared for. Communication was excellent throughout and I felt completely at ease knowing Remi was in such good hands. I would absolutely book with Jessica again and highly recommend her 🐾🤍”

“Anne and her family were wonderful right off the bat ! I immediately felt comfortable and safe leaving our new puppy with her ! She was always quick to respond with my questions before and during my puppy’s visit! We will definitely reach out again !”

“Tiffany has been such a caring and reliable sitter for my Chloe! Since the first time watching Chloe she has showed so much patience and consideration for Chloe’s situation being her first time away from me! I have now rebooked with Tiffany 4 times and she has been so reliable every weekend for me ! I was so nervous about leaving Chloe with a sitter but now I get to go to work knowing she is safe every time ! 10/10 recommend Tiffany to everyone if you’re looking for someone that knows how to communicate and really care for our little fur babies 💕”

“My Chauncey really likes Kelsey. He walks out of her home with a prance in his step. She always texts me, sends me photos of him, her care is amazing. Thank you!”

“Dillon was great and very accommodating! My pup loved him and he came back to me very tired, which is a hard thing to do for my dog. I will definitely use Dillon again for puppy sitting!”

“Leia took such great care of Maple, I could tell she had a good day by how exhausted she was when I picked her up! Leia worked with her on some of the training commands that I've been teaching her and with potty training. She kept me updated throughout the day with texts and photos, which I really appreciated!”

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for and training dogs with a wide range of needs, especially around separation anxiety, reactivity, and foundational obedience. I currently train my own dog, Benny, and have spent significant time working with professional trainers and behavior resources to help him feel calm, confident, and well-behaved in different environments. Through Benny, I’ve developed deep experience with: • Separation anxiety: building gradual independence, calm departures/arrivals, enrichment routines, and positive reinforcement. • Basic obedience: sit, stay, down, recall, leash manners, impulse control, and consistency in commands. • Reactivity and overstimulation: managing leash reactivity, structured walks, threshold training, and reading dog body language to prevent stress and escalation. • Positive reinforcement training: reward-based methods tailored to each dog’s personality and comfort level. I’ve also cared for dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs—through dog walking and pet sitting for over 10 years. I prioritize clear communication, routine, and safety, and I always adapt my approach to each dog’s unique needs. Because I understand how sensitive some dogs can be, I’m especially patient, observant, and proactive. My goal is always to make pets feel secure, understood, and loved while giving owners peace of mind that their dog is in thoughtful, capable hands. I work fully remote with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. I structure my days around my own dog, Benny, which means I’m already used to planning walks, playtime, training, feeding, and calm rest periods into my routine. Benny’s schedule includes morning and evening walks, enrichment activities, training sessions, and plenty of downtime, so I’m comfortable balancing multiple dogs with different needs and energy levels. I’m happy to adapt my schedule to match your pet’s routine, whether that means extra potty breaks, medication, structured exercise, quiet companionship, or specific feeding and training preferences. Because I’m home most of the day, I can provide attentive care, frequent check-ins, and a calm, consistent environment. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining the routine that helps them thrive. I use positive reinforcement only in all interactions with dogs. I believe in building trust, confidence, and good behavior through patience, consistency, and reward-based training rather than punishment. Through training my own dog, Benny, I’ve gained extensive experience working through separation anxiety, basic obedience, and reactivity using gentle, science-backed methods. I also have experience with fostering dogs and have completed safety and handling trainings through the San Diego Humane Society. These experiences have helped me better understand dog body language, stress signals, and how to safely support dogs with different backgrounds, temperaments, and needs. As a pet parent myself, I truly understand how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone new. That’s why I provide frequent updates, photos, and messages during each stay or walk. My goal is not just to care for your pet, but to make sure you feel informed, reassured, and confident that your dog is happy, safe, and loved while in my care.
About: Hi, I’m Rosa — a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom! I have years of experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities, from high-energy huskies to independent Shiba Inus. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable whether we’re out for a walk or they’re staying overnight. I’m attentive, responsible, and love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages, so you always know your furry friend is happy and in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m already used to taking my own dogs on regular walks, so incorporating walks, playtime, and cuddles with other pups fits seamlessly into my schedule. Whether pets are staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. At my home, dogs enjoy a clean, cozy environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and snuggles. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes — so they feel right at home. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and pets with the same respect and attention I give my own. I make sure water bowls are always full, give them lots of love and attention, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands.
About: I only take care of one dog at a time in my own home, so you can be sure your pet gets the same love and attention as my own two. I grew up with dogs and started professional pet sitting 24 years ago. I have a yard and a dog park steps outside my house. There’s almost always someone home during the day, we will go for walks, play at the park and have unlimited access to the yard. Your pets will go back home happy and nice and tired from a day of play and cuddles. I just moved back to San Diego after a year in Spain. I’m currently home full time. If I do need to leave, my best friend lives with me and is almost always available to back me up. I have a backyard and a dog park right outside my door, so your pet will have lots of play time if desired. I live 2 miles from dog beach in case your pet is a water lover. I’m happy to care for your pets in your own home, as long as I have access to WiFi I can work from anywhere!
About: I'm a total dog person! No matter the breed, I'm sure to love and adore every dog I meet. I've been around dogs my entire life and am well-versed in the unique personalities and quirks that come with different breeds. Growing up, friends and family regularly relied on me to care for their pets while they were away, which gave me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In San Diego, I’ve been walking dogs for the last 5 years. Some of the breeds I have extensive experience with include English Bulldogs, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Pugs. I also have an English Bulldog of my own, so I'm very familiar with the special care brachycephalic (smushed-face) breeds require, including their sensitivity to heat and exercise. I currently work from home 4.5 days a week (Tuesday mornings I am in office), so have a fairly flexible schedule when it comes to tending to your pets needs🙂 My English Bulldog is a total couch potato! He's spent a lot of time around other dogs and loves having a companion to hang out and relax with when we host. We live in a spacious two-story, two-bedroom ADU with a private, fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run and play. Our home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Point Loma. Out of respect for our neighbors and to ensure a calm environment for all of our guests, we do not accept dogs with barking habits.
About: I set myself apart from other sitters by offering a personalized and flexible approach to pet care. With experience in training puppies and caring for seniors, I'm equipped to provide tailored attention to meet the unique needs of each furry friend. My training in animal behavior and body language allows me to detect subtle cues and adjust my care accordingly, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free experience for your pet. Additionally, I am a very responsible and reliable person giving you peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. Whether it's a playful pup or a gentle senior, I'll provide loving care that's tailored just for them. I’m currently a college student and work part time so I have lots of free time and I would love to spend it with animals. I take well care of my pets making sure they are getting enough nutrients and I ensure that their space is always clean for them
“Ilayda was wonderful, she agreed to care for our pup Daphne at the very last minute after another sitter had to cancel due to a family emergency, so we could go to the zoo safari park. Ilayda was prompt and responsive and sent me pics throughout the day. She was communicative and took Daphne out for a trail walk which she loves. I would definitely book with Ilayda again!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, dog loving sitter with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all kinds, from my family’s Rottweiler to dogs I’ve watched for friends, family, past employers and current employers :). I know every dog is different, so I focus on making them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to build my day around pet care. I also like to stay active, which makes dog walks a natural part of my routine. Whether it’s morning, midday, or evening, I can be available to give your dog the attention and care they need. I usually just follow whatever routine your dog is already used to (feeding times, walks, playtime, all of that) so nothing feels off for them. In your home, I try to keep things as normal and low stress as possible. If they’re with me, they’ll get regular walks, attention, and a calm, clean space to hang out. I’m pretty attentive and good at picking up on what a dog needs, whether that’s more activity or just time to chill.
“Oliver loved hanging out with Danny! You can tell he really loves having dogs around!! He was super accommodating to my schedule and was a great communicator. Oliver was so happy and literally didn’t want to leave his house so it’s safe to say we’d recommend him for sure and are eager to have him watch our dog again.”

About: As a dedicated dog lover with 10 years of experience caring for my own Chihuahua, I understand how important it is to provide your furry friend with the love and attention they deserve. I've also cared for medium-sized dogs and indoor cats for my family and friends before rescuing my pup, giving me hands-on experience with pets of all sizes. This includes overnight stays, dog walks, and daytime dog sitting. I work remotely full time M-F so your dog will be my personal "coworker" during the day—lots of playtime and snuggles between a few zoom calls. I’m available for boarding or day care multiple days in a row. Whether your dog needs a stroll, some TLC, or just a buddy to hang out with, I’m here to make sure they feel right at home. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand the needs and precautions needed for small and medium dogs such as keeping an eye out for animals that may be a danger to them. I ensure a secure, caring environment while you're away. Rest easy knowing your pup is in trusted hands!
About: I have grown up with dogs, but more recently, raised a 13-year-old beagle named Scurvy (he passed away two years ago), so I have all the dog experience needed to care for your baby(ies)💗I want to help others while helping my heart heal as well. Walks, feeding, bathing, allergy issues. I even have a kennel and toys:) I just got my master’s degree (le phew!), so my schedule has freed up significantly. Also, my boyfriend works remotely- the puppers won’t ever be alone. My boyfriend has two friendly cats that are spayed and neutered. Pottie places are in our unfenced backyard, so it is easy to relieve your pet(s).
“Donovan was great! Professional, very friendly, communicative, and easy-going. It was our first time bringing our pup here. She loved running and chasing the other dogs there, and came home exhausted. She is now fast asleep and probably dreaming about her fun day. Would definitely recommend Donovan, and we will be back for more playtime!”

“Hanny was fantastic with Oliver! She watched him for a few hours today and was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommend her, and will definitely reach out again next time we're in SD! Thanks again!”

Julie went above and beyond providing loving care for my sweet little guy Rowlf! She met up with us first so he could meet her and Mr. Carson and he loved snuggling in her chair and window watching. We were first time Rover sitters and needed someone who could support our anxious pup on his first time with a Rover sitter and she was perfect!

She was absolutely wonderful with our dog! She was incredibly caring, understanding, calm, and trustworthy. We felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in such great hands. She was attentive and clearly genuinely cared about our dog’s comfort and well-being. We would absolutely recommend her and would happily have her sit for us again!

Ava is the best! We were on vacation in OB and were planning to go to a concert. It was a super hot week and our air bnb didn’t have AC so we couldn’t leave our pup. Ava was so flexible and jumped in last minute to save the day! Tito made himself right at home with her and had a great time while we were at our show. Highly recommend her!

Jessica took such great care of Remi! She had an amazing day with Jessica’s family and kids and it was clear she was so loved and well cared for. Communication was excellent throughout and I felt completely at ease knowing Remi was in such good hands. I would absolutely book with Jessica again and highly recommend her 🐾🤍

Oliver loved hanging out with Danny! You can tell he really loves having dogs around!! He was super accommodating to my schedule and was a great communicator. Oliver was so happy and literally didn’t want to leave his house so it’s safe to say we’d recommend him for sure and are eager to have him watch our dog again.

Thank you, Nikole, for taking such great care of our dog on such short notice! I know our dog was very anxious and even had an accident in your bedroom, but you were so kind and understanding about it. I really appreciated your patience and the extra effort you made, including taking our dog to the beach to help her relax and feel less stressed. Thank you again for your compassion and excellent care. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again!

Eliza was really great with my dog Bennett! I had movers coming to the house and needed someone to care for him during the day and Eliza was super flexible with the timing and accommodations! I would definitely recommend her for reliable and friendly dog care and will reach out again in the future!

Shannon is amazing! She’s so kind, welcoming, thoughtful, communicative, and truly wonderful with animals. I feel 100% confident and at peace knowing my pup is with her. My once cautious pup is now over-the-moon excited every time she sees Shannon. Shannon gets 6 out 5 stars!
