I’m a reliable, dog loving sitter with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all kinds, from my family’s Rottweiler to dogs I’ve watched for friends, family, past employers and current employers :). I know every dog is different, so I focus on making them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to build my day around pet care. I also like to stay active, which makes dog walks a natural part of my routine. I usually just follow whatever routine your dog is already used to (feeding times, walks, playtime, all of that) so nothing feels off for them. In your home, I try to keep things as normal and low stress as possible. If they’re with me, they’ll get regular walks, attention, and a calm, clean space to hang out. I’m pretty attentive and good at picking up on what a dog needs, whether that’s more activity or just time to chill.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and have always had a natural love for animals. I have a calm and patient presence around animals and love getting to know each pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so caring for yours truly brings me so much joy! Whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or relaxing at home, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m happy to follow their usual routine and any special instructions, and I’ll send plenty of photo updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’m also always happy to do a meet-and-greet beforehand so I can get to know you and your pet and make sure everyone feels comfortable. 🐾 I work part-time as a Stage Manager, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m available during the daytime on weekdays, making my schedule a great fit for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and keeping your pets company while you’re at work or away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard and always supervise dogs while they’re outside. I don’t have pets of my own, but I live in a multi-family home where the other the residents have dogs in a completely separate living space. Their dogs will not share a space with your pet. Please let me know how your dog reacts to seeing or hearing other dogs so I can make sure they feel comfortable and safe during their stay. On walks, dogs stay securely leashed, and I avoid unfamiliar dogs unless discussed with you beforehand. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine, feeding, medication, and care instructions. Communication is important to me! After walks, I’ll send a photo and update. For boarding, you’ll receive updates twice a day with photos and videos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Best experienece ever. Dillin hosted us at the peak of holiday season. He was quick to respond and his location which is so close to sea world and Zoo made it ideal. He has a decent sized yard and took great care of our 90lbs emglish lab and 6 month old hyper husky. He would keep sending us pics and updates on the dogs and we were so lucky to have found dillon. Yes his prices were higher than the others but totally worth it. You pay for what you get. Highly recommend. Hope you have a similar experience like ours.”

About: Hi! I'm Courtney, a lifelong dog lover based in Point Loma. For the last 13 years, my world revolved around caring for my Golden Retriever/Rottweiler mix, Bodi. He recently passed away, and while my home is a little quieter these days, I'd love to spend time caring for other people's dogs. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and am able to provide plenty of attention throughout the day. I am the sole caregiver during all bookings, whether your pet is staying in my home, I'm stopping by for a drop-in visit, or taking them on a walk. I haven’t had a dog in a while, and I truly miss being around them, which is one of the reasons I love pet sitting. Because I work from home, I’m able to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. About: I'm a total dog person! No matter the breed, I'm sure to love and adore every dog I meet. I've been around dogs my entire life and am well-versed in the unique personalities and quirks that come with different breeds. Growing up, friends and family regularly relied on me to care for their pets while they were away, which gave me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In San Diego, I’ve been walking dogs for the last 5 years. Some of the breeds I have extensive experience with include English Bulldogs, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Pugs. I also have an English Bulldog of my own, so I'm very familiar with the special care brachycephalic (smushed-face) breeds require, including their sensitivity to heat and exercise. I currently work from home 4.5 days a week (Tuesday mornings I am in office), so have a fairly flexible schedule when it comes to tending to your pets needs🙂 My English Bulldog is a total couch potato! He's spent a lot of time around other dogs and loves having a companion to hang out and relax with when we host. We live in a spacious two-story, two-bedroom ADU with a private, fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run and play. Our home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Point Loma. Out of respect for our neighbors and to ensure a calm environment for all of our guests, we do not accept dogs with barking habits.
