Doggy Day Care In Wooded Area

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life and love caring for and cuddling them. My teenage son wants to be a veterinarian and also loves researching pet breeds and their needs. I work from home and would love to have more pets to cuddle, walk and care for. We play with and cuddle the dogs as much as they would like. The cats are the boss - we leave the interaction up to them. We will play and cuddle if they want it - or just be nearby if they prefer. All pets are welcome to be on furniture and in beds - whatever makes them happy :) We live across the street from the San Diego Yacht Club so have a beautiful walking trail we can take dogs on walks on - and also have an outdoor seating area and balconies for both dogs and cats to sit in the sunshine with us. I am home full time now so have lots of time to devote to pets. They are my priority when here and my goal is to send them home well taken care of and happy. Our home is in a small community in Shelter Island with lots of space by the water for nice shady walks and also fenced in areas where the pets can sit outside with me and my family and enjoy the outdoors.

I’m a reliable, dog loving sitter with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all kinds, from my family’s Rottweiler to dogs I’ve watched for friends, family, past employers and current employers :). I know every dog is different, so I focus on making them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to build my day around pet care. I also like to stay active, which makes dog walks a natural part of my routine. Whether it’s morning, midday, or evening, I can be available to give your dog the attention and care they need. I usually just follow whatever routine your dog is already used to (feeding times, walks, playtime, all of that) so nothing feels off for them. In your home, I try to keep things as normal and low stress as possible. If they’re with me, they’ll get regular walks, attention, and a calm, clean space to hang out. I’m pretty attentive and good at picking up on what a dog needs, whether that’s more activity or just time to chill.

About: I've grown up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, tarantulas, frogs, and turtles as pets. With over 20 years of pet-sitting experience, my services were mostly sought by family and friends. I've always been the go-to person in my family for pet care needs. I've house-sat my parents' two dogs numerous times, including a continuous four-month period while they traveled across the country in their RV. I regularly board one of my sister's cats when she's away for work and also take care of my other sister's dog, providing both walking and boarding services when she travels. I am a high school math teacher. So, I’m off during the summer. That gives me lots of free time where I can care for your pets. I live in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house, about 1200 square feet. The inside of my house is pet friendly and my backyard is gated and has grass for pets to play on.

About: I have grown up with dogs, but more recently, raised a 13-year-old beagle named Scurvy (he passed away two years ago), so I have all the dog experience needed to care for your baby(ies)💗I want to help others while helping my heart heal as well. Walks, feeding, bathing, allergy issues. I even have a kennel and toys:) I just got my master’s degree (le phew!), so my schedule has freed up significantly. Also, my boyfriend works remotely- the puppers won’t ever be alone. My boyfriend has two friendly cats that are spayed and neutered. Pottie places are in our unfenced backyard, so it is easy to relieve your pet(s).

About: My experience started off with my very own dog when I was a child living in England, I learned from a young age how to take care of a dog and keep them happy. I moved to America 10 years ago and have since been providing dog walking, sitting and general care with several dogs continuously for this whole period. The dogs I have taken care of have ranged from golden doodles, Belgian Malinois and teacup terriers. After 10 years of experience with the same dogs, I am ready to branch out and help you and your dog! I work from home full-time which gives me a lot of flexibility in my available to spend time with your dog and for drop offs and pick ups. Besides an hour at the gym and an hour I walk a dog daily I will be able to provide your dog with all the love and attention they need. I like in apartment with a balcony so if your dog were to be staying at my home it would include having an indoor/outdoor area (the balcony is enclosed), I am also right next to a trail and the bay is less than a mile away so this would be where I would walk your dog. In your home, if you have a routine you would like me to stick to, I’m happy to do so!

About: Growing up I had a chocolate lab and three doodles which formed my love for dogs. Dog sitting for neighbors was my very first job and have experience watching dogs for friends and family throughout my life. From high energy nuts to chill doodles I have plenty of experience and love for all types of dogs. Currently accepting bookings for hypoallergenic/low shedding dogs only. I work remotely and spend most of my days in my office in my two bedroom apartment. I live alone and typically only leave during weekdays for the gym, grocery shopping and farmers markets as part of my daily routine. I am active and love to go on jogs to the beach to balance out the time I spend in front of screens. On weekends I like to go to coffee shops, golf, and occasionally get out of the city for a nature adventure. Dog sitting fits well into my chill routine. I’ve always wanted a dog of my own, but unfortunately I chose a career in sales after college. For several years I was lucky to have a roommate with a fluffy doodle who I loved and often took care of whenever he wasn’t around, but he has moved out. The frequent travel has held me back from getting my own and dog sitting when I’m home is my solution to getting that dog love missing in my life. I am happy to take care of all different types of dogs. If they are chill and just need love and attention, that works. If they need tons of walking and action, even better. I’ll be sending plenty of pics of your dog and me having a blast doing whatever it is you recommend they like to do. My apartment has hardwood floors, two balconies, is 1224 square feet, and plenty of large windows which dogs love to stare out of. I also have a giant dog bed my roommate left behind that I kept for pet sitting. There are doggie bags included right outside my apartment and the neighborhood (Dylan Point Loma) is very dog friendly. Convenient to take a walk at any time right from the apartment around Point Loma.

About: * 2+ dogs I only offer house sitting at your place no boarding* Coverage area Point Loma and OB or 10 minutes from MCRD*now booking October-December 2026* I love dogs! Big or small, young or old, your fur baby will be loved and entertained. I like to go on walks daily, I also offer house sitting, so your pup can stay where he or she is more comfortable. No extra charge for extra pets :) House sitting rate includes overnight stay and a mid day walk. Most days I will stay at your house longer than that, but that’s the bare minimum you can expect. I live my life out of your house and will be in and out during the day. As a dog mom, I know how hard it is to find someone you trust around your babies! I will love on them and make sure they are happy. . I usually do a short walk in the morning, another one around mid day, and a longer one in the afternoon. I look forward to meeting your pup! Two or more dogs from the same family, I stay at your house . I can handle medication, injections, and bathe them if needed. I spend extra time at the beginning building a bond with your dog, and making sure he/she is comfortable around me. I'm happy sleeping with your dogs in bed. I don't really have a set schedule, if your pup is good in the car and happy to go on adventures, I take them along if I'm running an errand or going to lunch, if they're happy at home, I come back for pee breaks. I am rarely out at night. If I am staying at your place, I ask that you turn off inside puppy cameras. I never bring dogs from another family into your home. I usually cross the street when we walk, even if your dog is friendly, because you never know who is coming. If your dog has a great come back command, I'm happy to do off leash areas, but usually take the time to bond with a leash before doing that.

About: I am a dog person! No matter the dog I am sure to love and adore them. I do have a 5 year old English Bulldog (M) of my own who is a total couch potato. He’s spent a lot of time around other dogs and does particularly well with puppies and female dogs (he’s a ladies man lol). Growing up neighbors, friends and family were always calling me to care for their fur babies whether they were running home late from work or away for vacation. Some breeds I have sat in the past include: bulldogs, Golden’s, labs, bernies, and pugs I currently work from home 4.5 days a week (Tuesday mornings I am in office), so have a fairly flexible schedule when it comes to tending to your pets needs🙂 ** At this time I am not able to stay overnight at clients homes, if you are interested in having me do multiple drop in visits to your home throughout the day reach out and I will charge you my overnight price. While you are away my goal is to allow your pet to stay on their normal routine as much as possible. Whether that be going for long walks, playing outside, or extra long belly rubs I want to make sure your pet is getting the love and care they are used to.
