“Mari was amazing with my little dog, Kalua! Her place is super dog-friendly—great space, and the dogs can go in and out to the yard, which Kahlua loved. I also really appreciated that she lets dogs on the furniture. Kalua is a total snuggle bug, so being able to curl up on the couch and even sleep in bed with Mari made her feel right at home. I got tons of cute photos while Kalua was there, including some fun ones from park walks with Mari’s dog Benny and her fiancé’s dog Apollo. Benny is such a sweetheart—he liked Kalua but seemed to prefer chilling on his bed and keeping an eye on things while Apollo, on the other hand, was super excited to play with her and was so gentle, which was perfect since she is tiny and he’s a bigger dog. Overall, Kalua had the best time. Mari treated her like family, and I felt totally comfortable the whole stay. I’d 100% book with her again!”

About: Note: all booked up for dog walking! Thank you :) Taking care of dogs was just part of my daily life as long as I could remember. I've had dogs from puppyhood into old age, and have experience giving medications, some injections, and even caring for a deaf dog. I am good with nervous, shy, and traumatized dogs as long as they do not react with biting (growling and nipping I understand fully). I have gone through a basic dog training course, which specialized in nervous dogs, in the past. My friends regularly have their dogs at my place when they are out of town. Although I have not had a cat since I was a child,I have a ton of experience in understanding them and have helped take care of them off and on at other houses over the years. I do the majority of my work from home and can be with your pet most hours of the day and all night. I’m up fairly early in the morning. I do adhere to all requests and instructions made for your pets. My dog was once so nervous that she had special social needs. I know the importance of specific directions. If your pet cannot have any food scraps, I have baby gates that can be put up blocking the kitchen and dining room during food prep and eating. We do have a backyard that is fenced and the neighborhood is dog friendly, clean, and has sidewalks.
