I've been around dogs my entire life and am well-versed in the unique personalities and quirks that come with different breeds. Growing up, friends and family regularly relied on me to care for their pets while they were away, which gave me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In San Diego, I’ve been walking dogs for the last 5 years. Some of the breeds I have extensive experience with include English Bulldogs, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Pugs. I also have an English Bulldog of my own, so I'm very familiar with the special care brachycephalic (smushed-face) breeds require, including their sensitivity to heat and exercise. I currently work from home 4.5 days a week (Tuesday mornings I am in office), so have a fairly flexible schedule when it comes to tending to your pets needs🙂 My English Bulldog is a total couch potato! He's spent a lot of time around other dogs and loves having a companion to hang out and relax with when we host. We live in a spacious two-story, two-bedroom ADU with a private, fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run and play. Our home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Point Loma. Out of respect for our neighbors and to ensure a calm environment for all of our guests, we do not accept dogs with barking habits.

About: I grew up with animals and pets of all varieties. I also work as an integrative therapist in the community and know firsthand how important pets are as beloved members of the family. I am nurturing, attentive to detail and have a special place in my heart for dogs and cats, especially 💜 I have a flexible schedule and will be happy to work around your pet sitting needs, as best as possible. I also have a beautiful fenced in yard and pet friendly home, available for boarding. My approach is to work with the individual needs of each fur baby and their families. I also have a decent selection of ropes, balls, and other chew toys for your pet to choose from. I have a vehicle so I can drive to your house as long as it is within 25 miles of my house. Before moving to college I was able to often care for dogs in my neighborhood, including walking, feeding, playing, and house sitting. I have no problem and am comfortable with all pets :) I do have a car and reliable way of transportation to and from the location as necessary! I am flexible and willing about hours as long as there is communication ahead of time! I am able bodied and have no problem with large or small dogs. I am comfortable playing and walking dogs. I do not have a home where I can welcome pets in (part of the reason I would like to help others!) but as always will treat every families home with utmost respect and care. Feeding is absolutely no problem as long as I have instructions and crates are not an issue as well!

About: I grew up with a dog and cat, and from age 4, learned horse riding and care which really taught me the importance of respect for animals. As an adult I rescued a cat that I had 4 years.
