Hi, my name's Amber, and I will be able to provide your dog with the care and attention he/she deserves while staying with me. My number one priority is keeping your dogs safe while you are away. We have a large sliding door leading to a large patio where they can sunbathe to their heart’s content. When it is time to come inside, your baby will be free to roam our home. Your dog’s stay will be filled with so much fun and love he will want to come back! The price listed is for a 24 hour stay for a dog weighing up to 44 lbs. Having undergone advanced screening, I have been met face-to-face and my home has been inspected. At a very early age I learned to always leave room in both my heart and house for loyal four-legged companions. Having grown up in the Oregon countryside, I was always surrounded by dogs. My mother, an animal lover herself, even brought home Peanut, a potbellied pig always happy to run alongside our four dogs as part of the dog pack. I have passed on my love for animals to my daughter, now 27, who has always considered our pets to be family members. When my daughter was younger we had a 7 pound miniature dachshund. She would adorn Fuschia in doll clothes and push her around in a stroller, while referring to her as “Sissy.” So cute! While you are away we will happily treat your fur-child as royalty with undivided attention, long walks and lots of family time. Why I love dog sitting Being raised by an animal-lover I have always had room in my heart for four-legged friends. As a kid we often had 3 or 4 dogs, and even a pot-bellied pig at one point! My experience administering medication Yes, I have no problem administering medication. I will follow your instructions to a tee.

Peace of Mind for Senior Dog Parents and behavioral challenged Dog Amber exceeded our expectations! Leaving our senior dog, Champa, in someone else’s care is never easy—especially with her age-related needs. Amber exceeded every expectation. From our first meeting, she showed genuine warmth and a deep understanding of senior pet care. Our second dog, Magoo, has some behavioral challenges but Amber was very sweet and got along with him great! Amber followed Champa’s medication schedule and accommodated her mobility limitations with thoughtful walks and gentle handling, and even kept her routine consistent to reduce stress.We received daily updates with photos. She assured us all was well taken care of. When we returned, Champa and our other dog Magoo were totally relaxed. The house was in complete order and clean. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pups like their own, but Amber did just that. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We Highly recommend Amber.
Amber is a fantastic dog sitter and took great care of my dog. She made scheduling, drop off, and pick up very easy. My dog loves her and enjoyed his time! I will absolutely book with her again in the future.
Amber was great! She was responsible, communicative, friendly, and we trusted her completely. She followed the instructions we left, and our boys seemed happy and relaxed in the photos she sent. We would not hesitate recommending her or having her stay with our pups again.

Amber was a great sitter for my dog Rumy! She was very loving toward her and provided updates and photos every couple of days. Rumy really liked Amber and her daughter and seemed to have a great time while we were away.

I am currently teaching college part time, so I am never gone for more than a few hours at a time once or twice a week.

Safety, trust & environment
I will treat your pups like they are my own. They'll get the run of the house and are allowed to sleep with us too. We have a large fenced yard for them to go out anytime and enjoy the sunshine and go potty.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks There are some very nice walking areas near our home. When he gets tired of our grassy yard we will venture over to those areas for some long walks. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog can sleep wherever he feels most comfortable. Feel free to bring his dog bed from home to make the transition easier for him. Smaller dogs are welcome to snuggle in my bed with me. Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home as an interior designer. I will be available all day to give your dog all of the attention he deserves.
