“Derek was an absolute lifesaver! He was able to watch Jameson last minute and I was so grateful. I got photo updates and Jameson was happy exhausted when I picked him up. Thanks so much!”

“We had some last minute construction going on in our house, and Laryssa helped us out last minute. Such a blessing to have a place for my baby to go to have a peaceful day, play in a yard, and get lots of love while it's so crazy at home. She was responsive, sweet, sent me pictures and updates, and just gave me the peace of mind I needed. I will definitely send Mr. Kirby back to Laryssa's place. Thank you so much! :)”

“Kate provided a safe and comfortable home for our 2 pups while we explored San Diego. They were exhausted after playing all day. We will use Kate again when we need a dog sitter in the area.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently care for my two dogs daily. I’m very familiar with structured routines, I’m used to long walks — sometimes up to two hours — including playtime and rest breaks as needed, always adapting to the dog’s energy level. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, always adapting to their specific needs. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog as if they were my own, prioritizing safety and lots of affection. I currently work online and part-time, so I would have plenty of time to care for your dog, giving him attention, playtime, and exercise. At home, we usually go to bed early because we have a dog who wakes up very early and starts his day with his routine of going out to relieve himself. I have two friendly dogs who could keep your dog company. I'm also very close to the bay where I usually go with my dogs. I typically take a long walk in the mornings to Fiesta or around the area, depending on how my day is going. And I have several spaces in the house where your dog can rest peacefully after walks.
“Xochitl did an amazing job with our two pugs! Pugs are needy and she handled them brilliantly. She was patient and understanding even though they were more to handle than her usual dogs. I will book with her again, if she'll have us!”

“Simran was great! We needed last minute sitter for our pup and she replied right away. She sent plenty of updates and made sure olive got lots of love! Will definitely book again when in the area!”

“Benny loves it at Gabrielle & Matthew's! Their house and yard is doggy heaven. Lots of space to roam, play, and sniff. He loves their two shepherds. They all seem to get along, and they are good influences on Benny, as they are so well behaved. Benny always comes home happy and tired. Couldn't ask for more!”

“Took awesome care of my pup while I was at work, gave me updates and sent pictures. I have a doxie as well, so he got along great with her pups! Would definitely recommend again”
“My precious PugZ took an immediate liking to Rachelle. She sent plenty of pictures and updates. I’d definitely have Rachelle care for PugZ again and highly recommend her services”

About: Me and my roommate do rover together, have two friendly dogs and a rabbit that would love another friend. All pets are 2-3 years old and super friendly with animals and kids. We treat every dog like family and ensure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. I’m a student full time with a lot of free time. My schedule is pretty open 7 days a week. If I’m not available my roommate who also does Rover with me is available. I always have a good situational awareness indoors and outdoors. Any pet I’m with I’ll always have by my side to play with and to train.

About: I’ve basically grown up in a zoo! My family has always had animals around— multiple dogs, birds, turtles, fish, a cat, and at one point even 13 guinea pigs. Because of that, I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals and am very comfortable around pets with different personalities and needs. Dogs have always been my favorite. When I was a kid, my sisters and I even started our own little “doggy daycare” for neighborhood dogs, which was honestly one of the highlights of my childhood. Today, my family has three dogs, and I love spending time with them whenever I’m home. Since I’m now living in San Diego and my family is in Los Angeles, I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like. Rover gives me the chance to spend time with dogs, help pet owners in the community, and do something I genuinely enjoy. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I’ll treat your dog with the same care and attention I would give my own family pets. Just graduated from USD, so I have lots of availability and free time to be with your pup pretty much every hour of the day! I live in an apartment with no pets, but plenty of pet friendly furniture! I would frequently take the dogs out on neighborhoods walks, out to the park, or even the beach depending on the dog and owner preferences! I also live less than a block away from the Humane Society, in case of an emergency!
“Julia did a wonderful job with my Bo! She also lives in a beautiful spot with plenty of outdoor space to roam around. She sent plenty of pictures including ones cuddling with her son who was also great with him!”

“Dylan was accomodating as usual and constantly kept us up to date with lots of videos and pictures. Simba never even looked back at us when we dropped her off and ran straight towards Dylan. Enough said.”

“Thank you Brian for taking good care of Biggie while I attended CRSSD! Plenty of photos and updates were shared. Pick up was smooth. Biggie clearly had an enjoyable and positive experience. Upon pick up, he was calm and even gave Brian kisses before we left. Will reach out again if we are in San Diego. Thanks!”

“Anne and her family were wonderful right off the bat ! I immediately felt comfortable and safe leaving our new puppy with her ! She was always quick to respond with my questions before and during my puppy’s visit! We will definitely reach out again !”

“Haley is a great sitter. She was very kind and accommodating. We appreciate that she was willing to care for our dog, even though she has special needs. We would book her again!”

Caterina did an amazing Job. First time Rover user and she went above and beyond to make sure not only I felt comfortable, but also my GS. Lots of walks and activity through out the day. Love that they took my girl to the beach. Would highly recommend Caterina for any and all dog sitting needs. Thank you so much for making this a very special experience. - 3 days Doggy Day Car 9am-5pm
Bruna was awesome! She responded so quickly to such a last minute request and she was great, she also had a frenchie who was such a sweetie and made me feel so much more comfortable considering it was my first time getting a sitter for my dog! So easy going and so lovely

We traveled to San Diego with our dog and left her with Karen for two days while we visited the safari and the USS Midway Museum. Her home truly feels like a paradise for dogs. Our dog is usually shy and a bit timid, but she felt comfortable and really enjoyed her time with Karen. Thanks to her, we were able to have an even more enjoyable trip. Thank you so much, Karen!
