About: My 13 year old son and I love animals!! If you are looking for dependable, communicative, attentive and caring walkers/sitters, look no further! Our goal is to serve you by making booking easy and proving exceptional care for your furbabies!! So, please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or for help with booking (rates, dates, etc). Also, we are happy to do a meet n' greet if it's your first time using our services that way your pup can get familiar with us. 🐕 I've loved animals ever since I was young. I've had many different types of pets over the years (cats, reptiles, fish and hamsters)! And my son has had a love for (and incredible connection with) dogs since the womb. Even though we are new to Rover, we have been helping family and friends with their pets for years and have been walking and sitting in our neighborhood daily for the past year. We have experience caring for many different types of dogs, big and small, and have worked with dogs that are super high energy as well as ones with anxiety that just need a calming companion. Puppies are always a blast and we love seniors too. We care for cats and feathered friends as well! 🐈 We truly enjoy caring for pets together and would love to play with, walk and sit for your beloved pets while you are away! 🐕🦺 I am a nutritionist working from home and my son is homeschooled, so we have a flexible schedule and can offer services at different times throughout the day and often accommodate last minute requests. 🐩 Your pets safety and experience with us is priority. I will always contact you if I'm unsure about something and will follow any instructions you provide. You can expect a check-in message from me with photos, unless you request otherwise. I'll be available by phone or will return text messages promptly should you reach out to me.

“Rachel is incredible! She took the best care of our baby. We would highly recommend and will use her anytime we are in San Diego! 10/10”

“Came to San Diego for a road trip. Julie was very kind that accepted our last minute request and she was very responsive and sends us pics during the stay, and took absolutely good care of our dog. We left Almond with her for two days in a row and she’s very flexible with schedule and chill.”

“Michelle was a great sitter! My dog seemed super comfortable with her and she sent photo updates during his stay. Would definitely recommend.”

“Sedona immediately warmed up to Casey and was eager to play! We appreciated the periodic pictures and would definitely book Casey again if we are in the area!”

“Took awesome care of my pup while I was at work, gave me updates and sent pictures. I have a doxie as well, so he got along great with her pups! Would definitely recommend again”

“I am so glad I found Julia. Gingerbread will be visiting with her and her pups every time we are passing through San Diego. I was so impressed when gingerbread ran up to the door on her second day of daycare! She never likes to leave my side, but she enjoyed her daycare so much - that she was excited to spend time with Julia and her dogs instead of me for the day!”

“Our first doggy day care with Miranda and Evan went so smoothly. Hannah is a sensitive girl but she was doing very well under their care. Yuma too! I highly recommend and will book more days with them!”

About: Experience with sitting and caring for dogs in a variety of sizes and abilities. My dear senior chihuahua passed away recently, so we are a dog less home looking to provide a safe place to bask in the sun, sleep by the pool, and go on multiple walks throughout the day. I work from home and can take multiple walk breaks throughout the day, as well as monitor time in and outside. I do not work weekends and like to go for longer walks around the neighborhood. Two story home with large upper patio for sunbathing. Backyard has large pool and places to lounge in the sun and shade. Fully enclosed environment. Calm, quiet environment with no other pets or children. Daily updates, photos, and peace of mind while you're away. Flexibility with special diets, meds, or routines—just let me know! A big heart, a calm space, and lots of love to give.

About: Hello my fellow animal people! I'm Jenny and I'm hoping to live vicariously through you and love on your pets. I have experience with any type of animal from chickens to horses. I have diverse breed knowledge, a nurturing nature, and intuitive approach to caring for animals. Also known as an animal whisperer, your pets' instinct will indicate a safe place in me and a warm lap for sitting -no matter the size. I grew up in rural Spokane caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, cows, horses, turtles and birds on my family's 20 acres of land. I had to learn about diverse diets, daily care/exercise, injury care, and animal social cues. Our family has fostered relationships with different animal veterinarians in the area should a situation arise. I am home full time. I care for my furry friends around the clock. I like to mimic our furry friends’ routine as much as possible so there is the least amount of disruption to their daily routine. I prefer pets to be in their own homes so I can closely mimic their routine. However, if they come to my home, they will be spoiled, walked, and given EXTRA love since they are out of their comfort zone. They will be leashed at all times outside of the house for everyone’s safety. But I can guarantee constant hands on care while they are in my home.

About: My knowledge has increased each year since my first job at a kennel. I worked with a company like Rover after that, going to peoples houses and taking care of the needs that were required for the animal. I was trusted with keys and making sure the animal was safe, happy, and exercised. I also have raised a dog of my own, Remy. He has taught me the most out of all my jobs. He taught me patience, care, love, and responsibility. I have raised him since he was 3 months old. I would love to come meet your sweet angel or angels and give them my best care! I currently have Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday off. I’m open evenings on the other days of the week. I work for a Vet hospital 4 days a week, but I’m open to taking care of your fur baby after work if needed! I will always follow the standards you set for taking care of your baby in your home. If you want your pet to play in the yard only or only go on leash walks I will respect that! I will always clean up after myself and your pet as well.

About: I have a deep passion for caring for dogs, small or large, and can adapt to their personalities and temperament styles. I have experience raising my family dog, Melo, since he was a small pup! He is now 6 years old, 100lbs and the light of my life. I am familiar with basic training techniques and methods and can follow instructions per owners’ requests/preferences. I grew up with large dogs, but I have cared for a diverse array of dogs and I am excited to meet you and your pet! I am currently unemployed, job hunting for something in my field. I just moved to San Diego so I am looking to make new connections with some furry friends! My schedule is very open, just let me know what works best for you. I live in a condo apartment with a large common area where I could keep the dog comfy. I can take your pet on walks, if preferred, in a safe quiet neighborhood. If sitting in a client’s home, I would treat the space with respect and courtesy. I will try to make the pet comfy in their own home and follow instructions as needed.
