About: Hi, I’m Nathalia! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 15 years of experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a proud dog mom to two wonderful dogs of my own, I know how important it is to feel confident and at ease when leaving your furry family member in someone else’s care. I aim to adore and care for your pet as much as you do! Caring for dogs is already a big part of my everyday life. I currently have a wide open schedule and available Monday through Sundays for boarding for daycare. I have a home that is fully pet proof (secure cabinets, secure trash can, and fenced yard). I can crate your dog if needed as well.
“Ali and her partner Jake were wonderful puppy sitters. We just got our pup about a week ago and needed a sitter in a pinch. We called Ali just a few days before we needed her and she was responsive to our request and so helpful. Communication leading up to the day was excellent and it was comforting to know that both Ali and Jake were so excited to spend time with our pup. Ali sat our pup Ozzie for 3 days and each day he came home worn out from a fun day of activity and hands-on time. Ali only takes one pup at a time, so it’s nice to know that the focus is on your dog. He was well-fed and watered and came home a happy guy. I will definitely be calling Ali and Jake if I need sitters for Ozzie in the future.”

About: As a lifelong dog lover and owner, I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years. My hands-on experience began volunteering with Pittie Me Rescue in Arizona, where I led adoption events and managed their social media for two years. Now based in San Diego, I share my home with my four-year-old Shih Tzu, who is truly spoiled and adored. I also have experience caring for senior dogs (my beloved Chihuahua lived to 14), so I understand the patience and attentiveness older pets need. I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I’d be excited to care for yours, too. Tobi, my shih-tzu, and I also love and adore cats. We happily welcome kittie friends in our home as well. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility with potty time and play breaks throughout the day. On weekends, I am home all day. We have multiple dog beds and crates if your furry friend needs an extra bed. We also allow dogs on the bed and sofa, providing extra comfort for those who get separation anxiety. We live in a safe apartment community that features numerous outdoor walking paths near Balboa Park.
“Sophie and Hugh did an incredible job with our puppy Oliver! They took care of him as if he was their own. And as a huge bonus, their dog Monty got along incredibly with him! I highly recommend them”

“I'm so happy I found Brannon on here. He's so kind and caring, and my little guy gets excited when he sees him. I can tell Brannon truly loves and cares about animals and gives them the love and attention they deserve. I highly recommend him!”

“Andre was great. He was very flexible and happy to work with my schedule and my 2 older dogs and their quirky needs . Penny is blind and he happily made any necessary accommodations for walks and going potty. Bonus lived his best vacation days ever, with multiple walks a day. Thank you”

About: I'm a huge dog lover with a wide range of experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I've dog-sat for neighbors, friends, and family, including dog sitting 5 dogs at a time. I have experience boarding a 4 month old puppy and also have experience with administering medicine to older dogs. I would be so excited to care for your pet! I am home during the work day and love going on daily walks around the neighborhood. I would be thrilled to have your dog as a companion! I work remotely from my apartment so I am always home M-F during work hours and love to have a furry companion. I love taking breaks in the day to go on walks around the neighborhood. On most weekday nights and weekends I am also available to hang out with your pet, with the occasional outting! I live in an apartment complex with a small balcony off of my unit. There is a dog park directly across the street from me.
“My dog and I met with Shane and Chris for a meet-and-greet before I booked them for a day. They were so nice and genuine during both the initial visit and the day-of daycare that i was put immediately at ease for leaving them with my senior dog. I got to see their backyard (so spacious!), and I knew that Ghibli would love sunbathing there and be his lazy self. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.”

“Incredible care! I was traveling to town for school and she was not only available at the last minute, but very responsive and communicative. Very good with my girl Nala. And very reliable. Will absolutely book again!”

“Melanie did a wonderful job watching my pup. She gave consistent updates and my pup was relaxed and appeared to be well rested when I picked her up which is the best thing I can ask for … I would definitely rebook Melanie!”

About: I specialize in dog care and have over five years of hands on experience as a dog owner and sitter. I’ve had my own dog, Xochilt, for five years and have also boarded two additional dogs for an extended period, caring for three dogs at once while maintaining structure, safety, and individualized attention. I have experience with puppies, reactive dogs, and dogs who require medication, special diets, or strict routines. I’m patient, attentive, and very comfortable reading dog body language, which helps me adapt my approach to each dog’s personality and needs. I prioritize consistency and clear routines, especially for dogs who thrive on structure or need extra reassurance. I’m playful and nurturing while still maintaining boundaries to keep dogs safe and well behaved. My location offers easy access to multiple dog parks within walking distance, making walks and outdoor enrichment a regular part of care when appropriate. Whether I’m providing walks, drop ins, boarding, or house sitting, my goal is to make dogs feel secure, engaged, and cared for so owners can feel confident their pets are in capable, loving hands :) I’m currently a full time student at San Diego City College with all online classes except one, which allows me to be flexible and attentive with pet care. I offer walks, drop ins, boarding, and house sitting, and I plan my schedule around each dog’s routine. I make sure dogs get consistent walks, playtime, meals, and any required medications, with plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m communicative and happy to adjust care based on your dog’s needs and comfort level ! My apartment is dog friendly and located in a safe, very walkable neighborhood. There are multiple designated areas nearby for dogs to use the bathroom, as well as several dog parks within a 10 min walking distance for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and social time. All outings are based on the owner’s preferences and the dog’s comfort level. Dogs in my care are always supervised, follow their regular routines, and receive attentive, structured care. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their established routines so pets feel comfortable and secure!

West University Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
It was clear that our 2 year old pup had a great time playing with Jessica's dog all day. She passed out on the couch right after dinner with no interest in training or treats, she was that tired (which we love for her). We look forward to having Jessica care for her more in the future.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing with Thrylos! This was our first time leaving him with her, and she went above and beyond — taking him to the beach. We are so grateful for the care and love she showed him. It felt wonderful knowing he was in such trusted hands, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again

Ana was fantastic! Grog usually has severe separation anxiety and is skittish around other people. He has never had any kind of dog sitter or been to a doggy daycare. Ana met us outside and he was immediately at ease around her. She took him on two long walks and sent pictures of his adventures. She sent updates to let us know he was doing really well. We were really concerned about how he would do his first time and she put him at ease and us, too. She does not charge enough for how amazing she was!
