“Ana is my go-to sitter in San Diego! My dog gets anxious away from home and Ana created a calm and welcoming environment. He’s also a picky eater but takes oral medication everyday. Ana was able to ensure he was taking his meds. It was such a relief having someone so wonderful and attentive watching him while I was away. I also appreciated all the communication—lots of photos and texts describing daily walks and activities and anything that was out of the normal. Can’t recommend Ana enough!”

“Araceli was great with my two corgis. She kept me updated throughout my time away with pictures and videos. My doggos had the best time and I plan to rebook with her the next time I need a sitter.”
“Alex was great! He was very welcoming of our pup right away and asked a lot of questions to make sure Doc got the best possible care. He was also very communicative and responsive, which gave us a lot of peace of mind.”

“Felicia was amazing with my dog, Beans! She was very accommodating with pick-up and drop-off, sent great pictures and updates, and took such good care of him. Beans is shy at first, but Felicia was patient and took the time to help him warm up. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Phillip is one of the best dog sitters I’ve found on Rover! He is very attentive, follows care instructions, and was super accommodating to our booking and requests. Thanks for taking such great care of maya and keeping her so active during her visit!!”

About: Hey there, I’ve been taking care of dogs for 10 years now, and will definitely make sure they have all the attention they need! I’ve been around dogs all my life and know how to deal with dogs of all different sizes and ages as well. I’ve fostered 14 dogs before so I know exactly how to make sure they are having a wonderful time and are safe the whole time! I work from home and have a pretty relaxed schedule so I can take them out to the park/walks/jogs/car rides/ bathroom breaks multiple times a day depending on how much activity you would like your dog/dogs to get! My main goal is to make your dog/dogs as comfortable so they won’t even know their real mom or dad is not there. I have a ready to go kit for any small emergencies equipped with all the sprays bandages/or any small medical devices I would need. I have my primary vet on speed dial as well if any emergency should happen in which you will be immediately notified and kept up to date. I strive to make sure you and your pets are 110% comfortable with me and the environment they are in so they can feel safe at all times!

About: I’ve had a dog in my home since I was 3. I’ve taken care of pups at all ages and all stages, I will love yours like I love mine. I believe they all deserve the best in life! I work from home so with them all day and close to a park for plenty of walks and outside time. I also have a dog who loves having guests and friends visit! I have a fairly spacious apartment and allow dogs to be on furniture and sleep with me and my pup. If you prefer crate I can accolade that as well!

“Our Koda had another fantastic overnight stay with Sarah, Taylor and Mango! He was thrilled to be with all of them and loved all his playtime, walks and love that he received. What a joy to know he was cared for with the best sitters. We look forward to using Sarah and Taylor’s service again.”

“Xochitl (and husband) were amazing! I’ve used a lot of Rovers over the years, and she is at the very top of the list. From the first time we met her, it was clear that they were dog people. One of our pups is super timid and can take a while to warm up. Not this time! These two must have the magic touch, sending multiple pictures of her accepting belly rubs and giving kisses. Just as awesome: Some sitters will just send ‘proof of life’ shots showing that they are walking the dogs. But Xotchitl sent daily pictures of them in and outside of the house and interacting with them personally. Overall, Xotchitl made us feel at complete ease while on vacation - which doesn’t always happen. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Mariana was an outstanding sitter. She was very attentive and communicated great. My pup did not want to leave her side. I would highly recommend booking her for your fur baby.”

“Had a great experience with Shelby. My two dogs looked at home immediately. Great communication and I received updates about my dogs who looked very happy. I'm already planning to use Shelby again on my next out of town trip - highly recommend.”

“Michelle provided an amazing stay for our pup while we were out for a week. She was quick to respond, extremely flexible and provided great updates. If you’re looking for a dog sitter I highly recommend using Michelle’s services.”

“Shana was amazing! She was constantly sending us photos and videos of dog and it was clear she was giving him lots of attention. Our little guy had the best time and we will definitely use her next time we are out of town.”

“Our Furbaby Miles was with Sam for 11 days while we were in Hawaii. We were concerned leaving him for so long but Miles looked like he was having a great time. Everyday he had lots of other doggie friends to play with and Sam sent the best action photos daily. We feel confident that Sam took great care of our baby boy and we will be using him again.”

“David was excellent for watching our pup, keeping us updated and accommodating a last minute booking!! Rosie had a great time and felt right at home! Will definitely book with David again! Thanks!!”

About: I adopted my senior chihuahua at 10yrs old and have a special place in my heart for seniors. I can give medication and extra care for those dogs that require extra attention. I recently lost my dog and would love to care for other dogs. I work from home with a flexible schedule and usually done with work in the early afternoon. I can take dogs out for potty or walk breaks as often as needed. I currently have no pets at home. I work from home with a flexible schedule and can take dogs out for regular potty breaks and walks.
“Pam was great with our dog Bentley! She was easy to communicate with from day one, clearly a dog lover, and kept us updated on how he was doing. It was a bonus for me that Bentley got to spend time with her dog Xotchil and they went to a dog park daily. I would highly recommend Pam to others and I’m sure we’ll use her in the future again.”

“Jocy is worth a reservation! She has experience with all type of dogs and knows how to gauge with each one. She is a very nice person and wants the best for your dog. Listens and understand your concerns for your dogs needs. She took very good care of my senior Pomeranian. Followed instructions with food and medication, provided updates with video and pictures throughout my dog’s stay. Made sure my dog was comfortable when she had separation anxiety. And was my dogs temp. bestfriend while I was away. I look forward to rebooking her again.”

This was Franklin’s first time staying with Xóchitl so he was a bit anxious the first day and night but she was communicative and kept me updated once he was settled in. She sent lots of pictures which showed he was having a good time cuddling and relaxing on blankets and begging for food 😛 she has a nice home and outdoor space was nice. Xóchitl was great!

Jordan was absolutely amazing with Chase. She provided frequent updates, photos, and videos throughout his stay, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about him and paid close attention to his needs. I’ve already booked my my dog’s next stay with her, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy! 🐾❤️
Felicia was amazing with our 13 year old dog, Oscar. He has a lot of anxiety and is very dependent on me especially in his old age, so we don’t leave him very often and are always nervous when we do. She updated us often with messages and pictures, gave him the best attention and care, and provided so much peace of mind while we were away. Oscar warmed up to her quickly, which is rare for him and really speaks to how comfortable and safe she made him feel. It was clear that she genuinely cared about him and treated him like her own. We are so grateful for the care she gave our boy and will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Felicia! 🐾💙

Jazzy was an amazing caregiver for my dog, I loved the area immediately and knew that my dog would love it too. My dog was excited to see her, and when I picked him up, remained calm, letting me know that he felt at peace the entire time. Definitely looking forward to rebooking again, thank you so much!

This was the first time my doggo did boarding. In a new city. Needless to say, it was nerve-racking for both of us, but Fatima made the whole process feel easy. She provided continuous updates and took care of my boy while he was also taking medication for a minor injury. Thank you so much! 🥹💖

A Huge Thank you to Shelby and her family for taking care of my dog Bekka. She responded and excepted my very last minute request to board Bekka within minutes. This is my second time having Shelby dog sit Bekka and just like last time I’m very happy with the way she communicated throughout the stay during drop-off, play time, walks and pick-up. Bekka was so excited to be staying with Shelby again, if you’re looking for someone you can trust and your pets will love I highly recommend!!

Sarah is amazing! She always stays in communication with us and sends lots of pictures and updates of Kiwi while we’re away. Kiwi absolutely loves spending time with her, and it’s clear she genuinely cares for him. We always feel at ease knowing he’s in such great hands. We would definitely recommend booking with Sarah!

Lucy and Norah went above and beyond to take care of my greyhounds and make sure they had fun at their place. Greyhounds are a sensitive/needy bunch, so that says a lot about the care they received. I’m so grateful. I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to them again the next time I need a dog sitter. Thank you both!!
