About: Hello! I am a 27 y/o Washington native who moved to San Diego to escape the rain! I trained and showed dogs in agility, showmanship, and obedience for 12+ years. Through this, I learned effective techniques for training and caring for dogs. I raised an Aussie who had anxious and reactive behaviors, so I am comfortable and skilled in working with dogs who have similar concerns, or even just big feelings. I also fostered a German Shepherd/Aussie mix and am experienced with high energy, large dogs. I currently own a Husky mix puppy and am very knowledgeable in puppy training and care. I love dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and am very skilled in reading their body language. I will be your dog’s advocate so you don’t have to worry while you’re away. I work fully remote and can be very flexible for what time I take breaks. I can be home all day with your pet and make sure they get plenty of walks. My puppy can stay at my apartment with my partner and does not need to come with me to visits. I make sure that the pet’s safety and comfort is top priority and am very in tune with their needs. I make sure that they get adequate exercise, play time, and relaxation to fulfill their needs.

I work full-time, but my schedule and days off vary week-to-week. About: I grew up in rural Vermont taking care of animals in so many different ways. My family has always had dogs and cats, and I’ve always been the point person for neighbors when folks head out of town. I’ve also worked on a farm for six consecutive years helping care for all type of animals from rabbits, to cows, pigs, chickens, sheep and more. I just moved to San Diego this past month and do not have any prior engagements, so right now all my focus can be on making sure your animals needs are met! “Arthur is amazing! I messaged him about boarding my dog Roxy and he replied within seconds saying he was available for the dates I needed. I mentioned a few things I was worried about with boarding, and he was incredibly kind and reassuring. He immediately suggested doing a meet and greet so we could both feel comfortable, which I really appreciated. The meet and greet went perfectly. Roxy instantly loved the environment and all the dogs he had there. Arthur took the time to walk me through everything and answered every question I had. Since this was my first time boarding my dog, I was honestly a little nervous, but he made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. He’s also super responsive with messages, which made communication really smooth the entire time. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. A+++ experience. About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. We currently have two rescue beagles and 5 rescued cats. I do not currently work and can be home with your animals unless running short errands, and once someone enters our home they are family and will be treated like the spoiled royalty they are. I'm happy to send updates and pictures throughout their stay as well. I do not currently work, so I have all the time in the world for your furry friend. The animals rule our house and are allowed on all furniture/beds so they will be very comfortable. I do walks in the early morning with my dogs, but could also do day time/evening walks if your pets need. We have a fenced in dog-run with 24/7 access through a 1-flap dog door. They can go in and out as they please, but the fences are only 3ft high in the dog run, so jumpers/runners might not be the best fit. We feed our dogs twice a day and cannot free-feed animals.

“Jocy is worth a reservation! She has experience with all type of dogs and knows how to gauge with each one. She is a very nice person and wants the best for your dog. Listens and understand your concerns for your dogs needs. She took very good care of my senior Pomeranian. Followed instructions with food and medication, provided updates with video and pictures throughout my dog’s stay. Made sure my dog was comfortable when she had separation anxiety. And was my dogs temp. bestfriend while I was away. I look forward to rebooking her again.”

We had never used Rover before, but seeing the videos of Jasper getting lots of play and cuddles made us feel at ease knowing he was in great hands.
