About: I have five years experience caring for dogs, from the age of 2 and up (no new puppies). I recently lost my own dog, who was a full-feral with major trust issues when I first adopted him. With lots of patience and a safe environment, he learned to trust me. He developed a terminal cancer towards the end of his life, and I handled everything from managing meds, cooking his food, and frequent vet visits. That experience taught me to pay attention to small changes, stay calm, and keep a consistent routine. I’m comfortable with pets who need a little extra patience or structure, and I treat every animal like an individual with their own pace and personality. I only care for one family's pet(s) at a time, so if you have one or more dogs needing a private sitter, my house could be a good fit. I work remote, full-time, so I have lots of time at home to spend with the animals. I love to go hiking and have plenty of local trails I can take your pup to. I keep things calm, structured, and predictable. I only host one family’s pets at a time, so your dog isn’t dealing with unfamiliar animals or a chaotic environment. My home is quiet, clean, and dog-proof, and I pay close attention to doors, gates, and anything that could pose a safety issue.

“Recently boarded my standard poodle with Sam for several nights. I appreciated that we did a meet and greet beforehand to confirm a good fit. Sam's place is really perfect for dogs to have a great time and be safe. My boy was happy and tired when we picked him up. I got regular updates and pictures which were really nice and my kids then got to make sure their dog was well. Made our trip more relaxed.
